The address listed online leads you to a location around the corner. It took us about an hour and a half to find out where exactly my truck was supposed to be dropped off. When I got to the drop off location, I had no choice but to park it in front of the smaller towing trailers because the gate was closed, even thought the location is listed as 24 hour remote drop off. The personnel I talked to were extremely helpful and I'm very thankful for that. But remote drop off online is near impossible. I'm not surprised that there is no survey for the online experience, because I'm sure myself and many others would never recommend UHaul again due to the difficult and dysfunctional website. I had to return the UHaul at night by myself with no customer service or solutions available to me. If it weren't for the people that I was able to contact the next morning, I could have been fined for breaching my contract or any other decision I had to make to substitute the remote drop off instructions.

Picked truck up utilizing the 24/7 Truck share system, worked well, no issues with that. Returned truck to agent, the process for turn in was very quick, he had the total for me and processed payment without issue, total turn in time was about 5 minutes. Agent was very respectful and polite, will definitely utilize again when needed.

After a tiresome pick up and return process of a van that I only used for 3.75 hours of my 4 hour limit. UHAUL charged me 194 miles when I only drove 23 miles because their speedometer reading was off and won't take back the charge even though I have time stamped photos of the actual speedometer reading. AND UHAUL charged for an entire days rental when I returned the van to the parking lot within my 4 hour window but because the return process is tiresome and long, and there is no one there to help you, it took my 10 minutes to return the car which put me finalizing my return 3 mins after my 4 hour mark and so they charged me the full day. It's customer abuse especially when I called customer service number 3 times with no answer and waiting on hold for 10 minutes two of those times AND I left a message at the location and still no one has contacted me back to help resolve the issue. I will never you use this service again and I will tell everyone else to not use it too.

Since this was the first time I used a car dolly, it would have helped to have someone point out that there were instructions on the dolly to help with unloading the car when I got to my destination.

There was no room to drop the trailer off after hours, even though it was listed as being a 24-hour return location, and then I had to use my own tire chalks so that the thing wouldn't roll into the street! (after deciding to just leave it in front of the gate, but at least off to the side a bit)

Clean the truck between uses and have the correct keys and equipment ready when the customer comes to pick up. I was given a lock box code for early morning pick up and the wrong keys were in that lockbox. Fur her, the truck had no furniture dolly that I paid for or furniture pads at that time. I had to come back several hours later after the location opened in order to get the right keys and the items I needed. Additionally, the truck I was given had big smears all over the windshield to the point where I had to go to a car wash and clean off the windshield myself in order to make it safe to drive long distance.

The location was great, the truck was awful. It pulled hard to the right, the drivers door took the incredible hulk to close, and the air conditioning would cut out all the time during my 900 mile drive to texas. I will not rent from uhaul again. Penski will have my business now.

This wasn't my scheduled pickup location. Was sent here after showing up to schedule location and being told they didn't have a trunk for me. So I show up to the new location Tims Mannagift Inc and they were closed. Luckily for me, the owner saw we were being shifted to his location and he came there to help. He was awesome. Overall, Uhaul's process was not smooth. We were scheduled for a 7am pickup and didn't get out truck till 9am and then when we dropped off the truck 10 hours later (7pm that night.. mind you we had it rented for two days) then you charge us 20 more dollars for after hours return?? You are taking advantage of your customers and that $20 will be the reason that I will not rent from you again. It's shady and not how you treat customers who are contributing to the survival of your business during one of the most challening times in our history. Shame on you Uhaul.

I got a call to indicate that I could pick it up early morning before the place opened with a lock box and a code. However the location did not mark my reservation as an early pick up. I had to call the 1800 number and after 1.5 hours I finally got the code to the lock box. Pretty frustrating. The 1800 person I spoke to was helpful and nice. Also when I talked to the the person who said I could pick it up before they opened was also very nice.

When I went to the first pickup location they did not have the truck I reserved. Supposedly the truck I reserved was in North Carolina but they couldn't tell me that before I arrived. Totally unsatisfactory. I had to go to the location on 8th Street to pick up a truck. Wasted an hour and a half of my time. The second pick up and drop off locations were good but the overall U-Haul experience was Poor.

Excellent customer service, went out of their way to take care of issues that arose Before during and after rental. The trucks ac worked wonderfully but seemed like the suspension was about to brea as loud bangs and pops happened when turning the wheel and braking going into driveways. Was terrified the wheels were gonna fall off or something. But got the job done in the long run!

Tim and his wife did not have the truck we ordered a month ago ready for us. My husband had to wait over an hour for a different truck, because the store was unorganized. They told my husband this truck has a little trouble to include no AC. THEN they PROMISED a discount of $25 off and 25 mile discount because of all of the trouble. They OVERCHARGED is from the beginning, and then they DID NOT KEEP THE PROMISE THEY MADE. On top of ALL OF THAT, the truck broke down at the gas station and would not start. Today I see we were charged an additional $20 something on top of what they already took off. EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED, we have ALWAYS used UHAUL and we will NEVER use them again because of Tim and his Wife. Don't say you will do something for the trouble and then instead charge more, especially after giving us a piece of crap truck.

Our original booking was closer to us it was only 30 minutes later that our location was changed making our mileage 40 EXTRA miles. That was almost $40 extra we had to pay because U-Haul changed our location on where we had to pick up and drop off. It was very discouraging and feels like we were ripped off.

I will not rent from u-haul again. Had to drive out of my way to pick up instead of 2 miles from my house. Then they were closed. They did do the transaction outside so i could get the truck. Allowed my and charged me for 4 days and 696 miles which i used for 2 days and 620 miles. I think i should have gotten a refund but nope. Then to turn it in i had to wait outside for half an hour because they only had 1 person working. Never again

Apparently when you reserve online a piece of equipment (17ft truck in my case) and they don't have what you reserved they will give you the next best thing (15ft truck) and say sorry but this happens all the time. Too many trucks leaving and not enough coming in. Prior to coming to the store I did my online Early check in but when I go to pick up my equipment I'm there for 30 mins going through the same online questions as I did online at the store.(what's the point of online early check in?) I had to travel 18 miles out of my way since the Uhaul closest to my house did not have the size available so I chose a different location 18 miles away AND I STILL DIDNT get my truck I reserved. Still had to pay $1 per mile rate when I had to go out of my way 18 miles x2 plus more frequent trips since I didn't have the bigger truck that I needed to move my belongings. I even called the help desk and they said “sorry this is what you ordered. Nothing I can do. Enjoy the rest of your day.” Complete lie. I reserved online a 17 ft truck! Uhaul lost all my future business.

Better location would be great. the woman was nice and so were her 2 sons, but unless this is family owned, I would step up my game. Tell the TRUTH about the price! I was told $116 plus gas. Next thing I know its $163.09 plus the 20 dollars for gas.

The location is not the problem. The Uhaul online experience is completely jacked up. We attempted to pickup the vehicle outside normal business hours and once we arrived were confronted with additional requests for information in order to complete the rental. This information had not been requested prior to pickup and was only available to add once on-site. Luckily we live close by, but what if someone had to drive several miles to get to the closest uhaul only to find out that more information was needed. This must be fixed! This review would be 0 stars if it had been about the uhaul experience all together.

just very weird for me to rent a truck which I did hundreds of times catering over the years I never had to figure out where to pick it up as initial location wasn't what I signed up for- I NOW realize that if a truck is not available a PHONE call SHOULD OCCUR, not text or email should let us know a new pick up place -customer service folks - otherwise all people at the 3 locations I went to where great customer service from your corporate end isn't rocket science. Trust me, spend years in corp America in Corporate

The locations were fine but U Haul's app and website are not user friendly. We got to the pickup point and were sent to another dealer via instructions on the app. When we arrived at the second dealer they knew nothing about our rental so we returned to the first location and got someone from U Haul on the phone. Long story short, on a day that we were in a hurry, we lost valuable time because of being given wrong information.

I called prior to picking up the trailer and asked if I could make a payment since a relative would be picking it up. I was told to make the payment online. I attempted to go online and make the payment, but it wouldn't allow me to do so since I had indicated during the Check-in process that I'd “pay later”. I called back and let them know and the individual informed me that the drop off location could run the card on file. When my relative went to pick up the trailer, they wouldn't run the card on file and the proceeded to ask for references within Colorado since he was not a resident. I am a Colorado resident, who made the reservation, and they said they needed someone other than myself. Seemed like he received the run around until they final charged the card on file and let him take the trailer. It was a hassle.
