I was charged for gas and Ben i dropped the car off at the same exact spot like i returned it. I used 5 miles and put the gas right back in. I have before and after pics. So they are basically stealing money at this location.

First of all the truck trunk was locked by a lock. I called customer service and they asked me to go back to same location or submit a roadside assistant ticket. Because i hired 3 handyman “hourly based” , i went back to location and representative said” we dont have trunk key, only car key”, so i called roadside assistance who is a good guy and was trying to help because of my situation, however locksmith company arrived 80 minutes from last call to roadside assistance. So i received the truck around 11 am and couldnt be able to load before 2:15 pm. This is a time killing for moving day and extra unnecessary cost to the handymen “ 3 of them did noting for 3 hours”. Adding also, the trunk was not clean. I cleaned it my self before starting to use it. I got some pictures as an evidence.

Please kindly, clearly and effectively communicate any internal systems problems that will impact the customer with the customer. Do not take nearly a week to conclude a reservation and refund a customers deposit.

There is nothing the U-haul place out here of Altamira can say they are the most bestest people, especially Mr. Jim and winter. They are excellent, wonderful people. I recommend anybody to use this U-haul company.

The office where to get the key has no signage, and when you cal their number they hang up, not well organize who's who can give the key, i did everything online but their service still terible i spent an hour waiting for them to fix qn easy problem

The truck was disgusting, in the front and back. The back was filled with tire pieces, I wish I could attach a picture. Will never use U-Haul again. I reservations was cancelled the day I was moving and had to go with 24 hr tire cause they was the only one available. U-Haul need to do better, horrible experience once again

I reserved for 2 days but turned in moving truck early after having it for only 17 hours. picture would not upload to Uhaul app to return truck so I was told to just put keys in lockbox. Uhaul rep at this location waited until 6 hours later to send receipt so she could charge me for 2nd day

I choose the mobile checkout to speed up the process but when I went inside to get keys I had to wait an additional 30 mins because they decided to do the checkout process all over again which defeats the purpose of the self check out. I also paid extra for a utility dolly which was missing on the back of the truck. I called and asked them why wasn’t it on the back of the truck and they said they don’t have dolly’s at that location. My move has her pushed back until I found a U-Haul location with a dolly! They also didn’t go over mileage information with me so when I returned the truck I didn’t know what to put the gas tank on.

Picked up truck at 8 pm. trash in cab and a cigarette lighter. Not in a lighted area so hard to see damages. Got truck to my apartment that night. Next morning had to call service to change tire because it had big gash in tire and tire was coming off rim.

This is not where I was supposed to drop off the truck. The location I was contracted to refused the truck and told me he would have it towed if I tried to return it there. This was an alternate that U-Haul found. Hard to get in to and not a very safe location. There was no one there so we had to take pictures and return online. It is a tire shop next to a marijuana dispensary. Lots of homeless people around as we are having to take pictures of the truck and go through the steps of the online return.

Maps took me to the back of the business. It was hard to know where to go to park truck. A man just pointed and that was it. There were a couple men on the property but no one acknowledged me for a bit and then another man came out and took the keys from me.

(1) I would of Explained Location pick up better... (2) I would TEXT lock box numbers to customer so they can conveniently pick up truck keys... (3) It was Raining badly and their was mud and water pooling in the parking lot = need better parking lot draining. (4) Folks were as helpful as they could with Pick up and Drop off.

The actual front door was down the block from the drop off point for the truck. The door was locked. The employee didn’t even ask for our name or go look at the vehicle. He had people inside the location on slot type machines. It was also located next door to a CBD business that was selling actual marijuana according to the multitude of people in the parking lot. Very unprofessional.

They were not present when I dropped it off, said go ahead and leave the keys you’re fine, and then proceeded to charge me for fuel I did not use, after I filled it well above the level I had It at. Called, and couldn’t get through to them for so long then they said there nothing they can do.

My elderly father was told he had to unhitch the trailer himself. Finally, a young guy there asked if he needed help. Then it was really heavy even for both of them to lift out. The dirt lot was muddy. Very slippery for foot holding to lift the trailer. I saw a nail clipper lying on the ground with the point up for someone to run over. The lady seemed like we inconvenienced her just by being there. The location is hard to get in and out of and probably still would be even without the construction. It is on an access road (one way) so the entrance is back but if anyone were to miss it I can see how it would have someone driving around.

The wheel was shaking the truck speed wouldn't go pass 60 and they rented me the wrong truck Size they orver charged me and the clerk tried to argue with me saying it was the right size NEVER AGAIN will I rent from the 24 hr tire place

I made a reservation starting at 5pm. I did not receive my keys to the truck until 6:30pm because they could not be found. aInstead of just assigning me a different truck with available keys I had to sit and wait an hour and 30 minutes. I did everything through the app so that my check out experience would be fast and instead I had to wait. The Haul customer service rep was very rude.

First of all the employee at the Uhaul shop should be there at the time that I reserved the uhaul. I reserved it from Tuesday August 30th at 1:00pm with the returning date was August 31 at 1:00pm. We finally got to pick it up at 1:45pm which put us behind. He as not very professional. I would Not recommend this location to anyone!!!

Pickup was for 9am, we had to wait on the "Uhaul guy" and did not get checked in until after 9:40am. He did not show us to the truck or anything. We were told to go around back and find our truck based on the numbers. Trucks were parked in a muddy grass area so we had to spend time walking around. This location also is not at the address provided on the Uhaul website. It's down the street, has no signage, and the front door remains locked so you have to walk around back calling out for someone to help.
