First of all the employee at the Uhaul shop should be there at the time that I reserved the uhaul. I reserved it from Tuesday August 30th at 1:00pm with the returning date was August 31 at 1:00pm. We finally got to pick it up at 1:45pm which put us behind. He as not very professional. I would Not recommend this location to anyone!!!michelle M.
Pickup was for 9am, we had to wait on the "Uhaul guy" and did not get checked in until after 9:40am. He did not show us to the truck or anything. We were told to go around back and find our truck based on the numbers. Trucks were parked in a muddy grass area so we had to spend time walking around. This location also is not at the address provided on the Uhaul website. It's down the street, has no signage, and the front door remains locked so you have to walk around back calling out for someone to help.Marion W.

Got a truck with a check engine light on and had to switch to another after waiting a good while for the first one. Then had to wait again for the second one. Got back and the mobile check in would not work. Tried all suggestions on the webpage with no success. Tried to get help inside and the guy told me he didn't work for me and I need to call the uhal number. Tried to call and it was over an hour wait. Tried the chat feature as suggested, I wated 10-15 mins three different time as it did not work on my phone twice. Had to get a computer to use the feature. All in all a very long and troublesome process. Very disappointng.Lee J.
UHaul didn't inform me that my pickup wasn't at the specified location. The location itself was hard to get into (front door is locked and there is no buzzer and no way to see in the window). The mounting plate for the door latch was missing 3 of its 4 rivets and kept falling down, allowing the trailer door to be opened even while it was locked.Katherine S.

The truck wasn't clean or filled up with gas. I had also reserved some blankets, but they didn't have any available for me. BJ did his best to help me out, and was kind and courteous. But I wish the transaction had been faster and more efficient.Tanya Y.
This is the most miserable experience I have ever had renting a vehicle. I was supposed to pick up the truck at a location that I verified on the phone with a UHaul rep the day before. When I showed up 30 minutes early at 8:30 AM, I was told the UHaul guy would be there at 9 am. I waited and the UHaul rep said that the location I was supposed to pick up the truck at was down the street about 1/4 mile. I walked since I was dropped off. No one at the 2nd location, waiting on hold for UHaul cust svc for 45 minutes.RICHARD L.

I asked them when I returned the car that the fuel level was almost half . And i made sure its ok to bring it almost half tank as i took it but they still charged me extra 11 dollars for fuel which is unfair and annoying cz i made sure with the guy and he said u r totally fine . It took a 30+ to book the vehicle. They didn't have the correct size for me, even it was parked next to the front door. When I returned the vehicle, I filled it up to the same fuel level I took it with. Then I received a 2-gallon charge of fuel!! VERY Upsetting experience.MHD A.

I rented my U-Haul on 2/7/2022 and returned it after 2 hours and didn't even go 7miles and they charged me for 29 miles and stated that I never returned it until 2/10/2022 which is a lie so I will never rent from this location again!!! The place where they haul trucks is locked in the front and you have to go in the back through the tire shop. Then the office is full of tires. There's no place to sit down. It's dirty in there. The attendant never checked the truck, and hope he didn't add extra miles. If you call the office line during business time the phone goes to cellphone voicemail. Bad Bad BadHERMAN W.

The lady at the front desk was rude. Got me confused with another client and said my (husband) and I'm single extended my uhaul. I was confused because I got the truck alone. When she realized her mistake she hung up in my face. The truck had a light on it on and I called about this she said not to worry. The van was ready on time, the gentleman who checked me friendly and courteous. He explained how to drop it off when the store was closed very clearly. Van was clean and gassed up, ran well. Parking lot had enough room to maneuver the vehicles easily.MARK B.
I will say the actual gentleman who assisted with hitching the trailer to my vehicle was EXTREMELY helpful. The initial guy didn't speak English very well and just told me I needed to go purchase a trailer hitch. This location did not sell ANY uhual products or accessories needed. I had to go to two different places to get a trailer hitch and then an adapter for the trailer lights. Such an inconvenience and puzzling as to why not have accessories that customers are definitely going to buy. This is easy revenue for a business that is in partnership with Uhaul. Do better!KENYA S.

This area manager needs to get retrained or some extra help. I went to many of the uhauls in that area and a lot of the stores were making me run around in circles. I was picking up a U-Haul truck and a car tow and no one informed me of the process of getting the equipmen.t. They would not let me leave already with the tow dolly on and made me come back later. Told me that I could come whenever since they have a 24 hour tire service. The tire people are not informed about having to help people later for the attachment of the dolly. The lady working was very rude not only to myself but also to another uhaul working at another building. This location did not have the parts to the break lights and the business had me personally drive all the way to another building to purchase these wires, which should have been included in the whole process. I got double charged for something I already bought and I even showed the lady my bank account statement and my U-Haul invoice so she can see the purchase but she still did not believe me and still charged me. I finally for the tow dolly on the truck and come to find out one of the lights did not work. Then we had to undo everything and put on another dolly. This whole experience with U-Haul was horrible and I will never use you guys again and will inform everyone I know about the poor service uhaul has. There needs to be trainings more often and more equipment check up from the actual uhaul stores and mom and pop uhauls.JASMINE A.
Web site says the location was open but it was closed all weekend. Workers at 24 Hour Tire need to be better informed and trained to help returning customers. Maybe a sign saying to use U Haul web page's return link instead of saying just leave it here and you will get an email receipt. I did get the email receipt three days after I returned the equipment and there were no issues with the receipt. I just felt very uncomfortable for three days after leaving the truck, hand truck, dolly and moving pads without any receipt showing I had returned everything in good order. It would have been very helpful to informed me about the U Haul return feature on their web page. Lesson learned!!ROBERT M.
Employees were courteous and service was prompt. Location was easy to find. But I did not like the fact that the main door was locked and we had to walk "around the back of the building" and through the garage/tire warehouse to complete paperwork. If my wife or daughter had been by themselves they would have felt VERY unsafe and just left.David N.

The only problem I had was the verification process with self checkout. They should have a way to get you all the way verified before telling you to find your truck. I was walking, so it was an inconvenience to me when they wanted my rental lease and I was already 30 minutes away from home. Other than that, the lady inside was very helpful. Worst experience I have had with Uhaul. First off, this location is primarily a tire repair shop, not a Uhaul rental center. And secondly, my reservation appointment was worthless. The person that services Uhaul customers also repairs tires and was very busy helping those customers. So, checking in online seemed like it would be the easiest. But it was not. I told the guy that I had a reservation and that I was finishing my verification online and that it was just going to take a couple of minutes. He didn't care. He had already made up his mind that I was unimportant, that I was going to have to wait because he had other customers ahead of me. He didn't listen to me at all. The disrespect was obvious as he kept talking over me and had he shut up and listend he would have heard me telling him again that I was checked in and all I needed was the key. I already had the code for the key he was supposed to issue. But he made me wait for almost an hour because he could. He took care of all the men while I sat and waited. When I told him again, an hour later, that I already had the code for the key he came up with more BS excuses and tried to make it seem like it was my fault he took long. He kept calling me baby and hun and some other dismissive, degrading, and disrespectful things. It took less than 60 seconds for him to give me the key. 60 whole seconds after he made me wait an hour!!! I will never use this location again. I'll just drive the extra mile somewhere else if I ever need to rent a van again. The van was dirty inside and out and it smelled like 1000 asses. I've always hated how black businesses operate especially when the person you have to deal with immediately disrespects women. This guy carried a gun that was visible on his right hip and makes me wonder if Uhaul vendors are permitted to openly carry?????Tori J.

- hard to find u haul person to ask questions when checking in and out - when we got the u haul (10 foot), we opened it to find a big puddle of water in the back of the vehicle. -there was random cardboard and debris left behind in the u haul - rain leaked into the back of the u haul when we drove home (this was not a long distance, we drove a total distance of less than 30 miles when renting the u haul) resulting water to leak onto our cardboard boxes full of our belongings -the water leaked into many cardboard boxes and damaged our belongingsJason L.
The entire environment is GHETTO!! Seems like you're going to get shot when going there! There are several ways to enter the building but the doors are LOCKED during business hours so you would have to walk all the way around and enter through the tire shop. When at the counter they aren't as attentive to youâ€”talking to other people and using foul language.
