On a two way Rental I got into a car accident, the trailer wasn’t damaged, but I had to drop it off in a different city. They charge me an additional $1600 on what a normal one-way rental would’ve been. Trying to charge me $3095 to take a trailer from Ontario to Calgary…. Can’t get any help, just get past around the phone, avoid U-Haul

Min ATook 35 minutes to get U-Haul and it was 1/16th full already had to drive from Newmarket to pick up then get told to go out back and find the truck got attitude when I said I couldn’t find it and looked at me like I was an idiot- next time show your customers where when you have over 7 trucks out back and be faster with check in and also have the amount of fuel you promised!!! Not empty!!! Horrible experience with U-Haul in general and will probably never return

Gilbert HI completed the return process online and was about to drop off the key when some guy showed up to me in the parking lot and started asking for the truck key. No introduction no uniform no ID, I asked him who he was he strted yelling at me, "I have all your info here on my phone, you want me to walk all the way to the office?" He could be anyone walking uo to me from the street asking for the key, how should I know? He should understand that.All I said to him to let me drop the key in the box. Not a very pleasant experience!

Johnny FThe cost of the rental with all of the fees and charges was quite high. Everything adds up so quickly, making it hard to determine which option to take. The worst part was the drop off and downloading the Uhaul app. Once you download the app, make your profile, and link your account to the initial pickup, you then have to upload pictures of the dash, cab, each side of the truck and the back. I thought that this app process was maybe just for after hour drop off, but no. I honestly felt like I was doing the job of the staff, who told me the app was the only way to return the truck. I will not use u-haul again in the future

TIN AStaff was rude, reluctant to help. Brought out wrong equipment, didn't want to correct it. Paperwork was not printed or provided. Added in an extra 10$ charge without my consent and clicked through the checkout process on their phone without me reviewing it. At least the equipment worked.

Mike AThe U Haul agent inside TK Home was very helpful and gave good information. Ideally, the fuel gauge on the contract should not only indicate the level of fuel at pickup, but the approximate number of gallons it takes to refill the tank by a section of the gauge. I was lucky to find TK Home open when I returned the truck (despite U Haul hours being closed) and the same friendly agent completed all the steps to check the vehicle back in. I don't know if I would have had as an easy of a time had I filled in the page on the website for check-in myself.
STEPHANIE AI ordered an Auto Trailer and a Pickup Truck to tow it, but they didn't have the pickup which I asked for. It was hard to backup the trailer with the small cub van I was given. Next time I will have to make sure it's a Pickup truck.
irving bWe were originally booked to pick up a truck in Newmarket but the truck was late on being retuned and were asked to go to Bradford. The Newmarket location is very disorganized and not helpful. My husband said he had a nice experience at the Bradford location. Because of the new location we were charge much more for the mileage and would appreciate some sort of compensation for this inconvenience.
