I picked up the truck and the fuel needle showed full. I drove for a total of 35 miles and then filled the gas and it required 8 gallons! How is it possible that I drove 36 miles and used 8 gallons of gas????Michael L.

Had scheduled an 8 am pickup as I was on a time crunch and no one was there until 9am. Was told i cpuld pick up at 8. Was told if I brought truck back early it would cost less. Also told 93 cents a mile and the mileage cost was over that. Very disappointed.ALicia C.

The interior of the windshield was absolutely filthy and difficult to look through on a sunny day. There was a slow leak in the front driver side tire that was not fixed from when I rented the same about a week prior.John L.

Windows very dirty. One of the tires were low on air and they added air when I asked, then after driving 40 miles tire warning came back on. They knew tire was loosing air, why didn't they fix the tire if it's loosing air. Is that why I had to pay $11 for insurance for using dangerous equipment.Kevin L.

I was told I would be charged .40Â¢ per extra mile driven. I was charged $1.00 per mile. I only went 10 miles over so not a huge deal as it's a $6 difference but still inconvenient.Sean C.

I have rented from Uhaul many times for me or for a friend. Until this past experience I will never rent or recommend Uhaul for me or to a friend. The fellow, Mark, who rented the truck to me was great. He did what he was supposed to. I showed him where I hit an awning. With the $14 insurance I included with the rental did not cover "awnings" or pretty much anything damage at top of truck. I had to pay approx. $350, which I could have fixed for a fraction of the price. Uhaul is sneaky. I was honest and forthright what happened because I value integrity. Uhaul does not value integrity. I paid the damages, which was over the top expensive for the gray top corner covering. I also know money for reimbursements(insurance/customer) does not go to fixing the damage. That is fraud and dishonest. Do the right thing Uhaul.Timothy C.

The engine light came on while driving. The person on-site when we picked up the truck was great, very personable and helpful. However, the person on duty when we returned a couple of hours later was a real jerk. The truck hadn't been swept out by the prior renter. When I explained we only moved a mattress and were not shown the inside of the truck before leaving, he responded that I then had a problem, didn't I. He gave me the choice to sweep the truck out myself or be charged. My husband was like are you kidding me and the attendant then let us know that he was former military and police, and that he was going to have my husband arrested for assault. It was really insane and totally unnecessary. He eventually gave me a broom and said he wouldn't charge us for cleaning. I will never rent from that location again.Regina L.

Had a good experience. Truck ran well and was clean inside. The only recommendation I would make is. The top of the truck was covered in snow and ice which is dangerous for other driver. It should be cleaned off prior to pick up to make it safe for all motorists, including driver of the truck.David P.

The attendant at the location was not very professional and seemed bothered by anyone showing up at the location. The language he used was not appropriate and I am glad I did not have any kids present otherwise I'd have to explain to them about words people shouldn't use in public. I returned the van cleaner than I received it yet I had to sweep out the back of it again. Based on this experience I am not sure if I would use uhaul again or recommend anyone to use uhaul. The attendant apologized afterwards but the unprofessional first impression still sticks with me.JARED A.

Make sure everyone's reservations are actually there. It seemed like more of a system website error than this locations error, but nothing could be worse than showing up there and being told "you are lucky if we actually have your truck, some other guy reserved one four weeks in advanced and we just didn't have it for him". Overall the man there was friendly at least, though he seems overly stressed out by the uHaul computer system constantly crashing. Poor guy was in over his head and it was *not* at all his fault.Dakota C.

Vehicle was a bit dirty: seats were sticky, coffee/soda stains on interior doors, sand/dirt in cargo area. Also, when returning the vehicle, the employee requested that we sweep the cargo area, when this had not been done for us. The back up cameras on the vans are badly in need of an upgrade. The screen is very small and hard to see and appears to use a convex lens which makes it extremely difficult to judge distances accurately. Other than that it was a great rental experience.Brian M.

We opted for the mobile pickup of our rental and when my husband was walking toward where the van was located an employee angrily stopped him and told him he couldn't use the mobile pickup and had to come in. The pickup experience was very unprofessional and unpleasant. The drop-off went smoother and the employee he dealt with was not the same person as the one he dealt with at pickup. Would not rent from this location ever again.William D.

Fucking awful!! The rental was NOT cell phone check out. I had to go into the store. The key was not in the truck. The gas gauge was NOT accurate and only at a quarter tank and I had to stop to get gas, which was extra mileage, which you then charged me for! The truck did NOT have the moving supplies that I requested!!! And the fucking movers that I paid for did NOT show up to assist!! So I had to unload the truck on my own, reinjuring my knee and back! My 63 year old father was the only one around to help me and hurt his back. I spent 40 minutes on hold four times trying to talk to someone at UHaul. The fifth time I help was 30 minutes! Fuck U-haul, I'm considering contacting a lawyer!SCOTT D.
