Customer service was terrible at this location. took me over 30 mins to do the paperwork because everytime a â€œcustomerâ€ came into the store they paused my rental work and helped them. Completely disrespectful, am i not a customer? I would rather go to another company than go back to this location. Also, truck smelled like cigarette smoke. not fun.William C.
It was dirty. No help hooking up. Later found out they should have help hook up because hitch was loose on ball. Trailer was dirty inside. I went inside to rent trailer and cashier told me it would be better if I did paperwork online to speed the process up.David M.
Location was an old beatup convenient store. had to get milage amount for him, he couldn't print out a receipt for receiving the truck or its condition. had to bring in milage to him and took photos of truck when dropped off. Was OK for just dumping the truck off.Shelton G.
The person working wasn't the UHAUL rep. They only had one and he wasn't there at the time. Alsd I paid for trailer insurance and when I called Uhaul with the problem they said my chain stuck on the car was not covered. Please refund the $30.Andrew L.
The Customer Service I received in getting the truck and returning it was very excellent and professional. There isn't anything that needs to be changed. It was a very pleasant experience for me, since it was the first time I ever rented a U-haul truck. If I need one again, I will be back. Thank you.Paul H.

I had to retrieve the number from the dolly because the ticket was not readable. I also had to offload the dolly myself which could've caused lower back injury due to dolly being heavy. The place I had to move it to was in the grass which made it even harder to move.Robert C.

the personal and equipment were great help the only problem is the place is busy and made it hard to get the trailer out and back inJames F.
The only thing I did not agree with is the charges should all be in one truck $39.00 + a fee for $14= $59 then add additional for miles total of $111 i could've rent a car for the weekend for that price... ThanksTyrone B.

The gentleman who told me to drive the U-Haul in the back of the gas station told me I had to unhook everything and pull the trailer off of the trailer ball. In possible I'm 110 pounds soaking wet and have terrible arthritis in my hands but I did as much as I could and told the gentleman that was inside that he would have to remove the trailer from the trailer hitch ball. That I tried but I can't lift it. He came out several minutes later and took it off for me. This place should not Be a U-Haul dealer.Donna F.

The lady that rented me the truck was nice. Truck drove bad. Keep being told I had to wait because customers keep coming in to the store to buy things and to pay for gas. Was told per the owner of the store that because I was only renting uhaul, others were more important.John S.

I had to pick up at Tommy's Food Mart because my preferred location did not have the equipment I needed. I had to FaceTime a man in the shop who was telling me what to do with the contract on the computer. He kept leaving and other employees continued to take the phone he was FaceTiming me on to ask him random questions. There was no one physically there who knew anything about uhaul. No one was there to assist in attaching my tow dolly, I signed no paperwork, and they attempted to charge me multiple times after I had already told him I had paid. The utility dolly was in the bathroom and I had to go find it myself. They forgot to give me the key to the truck and just shut me out of the office. It is safe to say this was the most unpleasant experience I have had. I also spoke with uhaul employees over the phone and they did not seem to worry or care that I was uncomfortable or not confident in the location.Cara B.

They had no idea I was coming, despite me ordering the uhaul well in advance online and having confirmation codes, emails, and texts. The store employee - totally unrelated to uhaul, apparently - had to get ahold of the uhaul guy and after several tries was able to get finally get him. He had to fill out my information (incorrectly) on the store computer over the phone. He kept messing everything up. What was the point of reserving it online if I had to go through all the information again? The truck was not ready, the additional equipment, etc I had reserved and paid for was not ready.... I had brought friends with me to assist me with the uhaul and they had other places to get to...and we all waited probably 90 minutes until I was finally able to leave with the truck. It was ridiculous. I will NEVER order a uhaul in goldsboro again! I didn't get to choose where it came from (since it was apparently based on availability of trucks at different places) and I never want to experience this crap again.Kylie D.

Once I was finally set up with a pickup location that actually had the equipment (24 hours after my original time) the service at the location itself was great. I can not say the same for uhaul itself though. 3 changes to the pickup location, 24 hour delay in picking up, countless HOURS on the phone with uhaul, wasted time and gas, and extra miles on the rental from having to pickup in a different town now has me questioning if I'll ever use them again. Guess I'll wait and see how they handle the complaint that has been filed. They are going to have to go above and beyond their $50 guarantee to make this nightmare right.Erik K.

There were several parts missing it was out of oil and it was filthy filthy dirty. The tires were low and the lights weren't working on the side of the trailer. We had to buy some parts to connect it to my car we had to fill it up with oil and we didn't do anything with the lights because we didn't know how to change the bulbs. When I picked up the trailer I was told I could choose the drop off location. When I called to pick it I was told I had to go 10 miles out of my way. That was a waste of gas and time, not to mention I was lied too about being able to pick the drop off location. No one was on the same page. There should be a set standard that everyone know so the customer is not wasting time and money. During this whole trip I had to call way too many time for just renting a trailer. Very poor experience overall.rick R.

The stores representatives handled things the best they could for what was going on. They did not have the equipment I had requested for my move (Applice Dolly with belt strap). I feel as though there was a very big miscommunication with U-Haul in general when I placed my order in. I have U-Haul a number of times but after this experience it truly makes me wonder if I'll ever trust to use this company again during a holiday weekend move. I just felt it was a very unreliable experience. As for cleanliness of equipment I felt as though the vehicle itself was okay. I "clicked" NO, more so for the lack of equipment. I was charged for missing blankets. I validated with the employee where the 12 blankets were located and folded in the back of the truck. The email address I was given to contact them was inaccurate and they haven't answered there phone. I need to be refunded for this over charge that they messed up on.Matthew C.
