Alastair MI called this location to rent a truck, but Eric did not have one available for the time frame I needed but Eric was beyond amazing, very helpful, and very kind. After I called him approximately 10 times for help and advice, he went above and beyond to help me get a truck for the timeframe I needed. In the times we live in today, it’s hard to find true, genuine customer service, well I got that and so much more. So U-Haul, you have a gem in Eric and I’ve told all my friends and family about the service I received from Eric. So if you need help renting from U-Haul, call Eric 😊
Barb GPerhaps offer complimentary moving blankets or Dollie’s. But otherwise, great service, very friendly and love the text I received before my pick up day to let me know that the truck was there and ready. Thank you ever so much.
tonia hMaybe make the trailer area closer to the customer service area. It's too far of a walk for the employees to keep going back and forth all day.

DARRYL LThe tank was not completely full when I picked up the vehicle, probably $5-6 under full. I returned it full and needle showed further to the right of when I picked it up. Otherwise a great experience: truck was new and worked well, the guys were friendly and helpful, and everything went to plan. Would rent again.
Joseph BThe equipment was clean however the truck was rough riding and hard to steer. The wheel was vibrating I found and the front end of the truck seemed to be shaking alot. The mirrors were also vibrating it was hard to look in the mirrors they were shaking that badly I found.

I highly recommend them and for the wait on the phone in moncton area it seriously be faster to drive 45 min to amherst and deal with these guys right away. Hats off to new Amherst location......

Glenn TBeautiful and very clean building, nick was very helpful and made the process quick and painless. 100% recommend and way better than any other uhaul experience that I’ve had. Made to feel comfortable before hand and nick made sure I understood all the details in the contract. Last minute truck rental I thought it would be a pain, it wasn’t. Way better than the other location in Amherst (not to mention a lot more friendly, clean, could get a coffee while waiting, more knowledgeable, willing to help and less sketchy). Thank you nick & uhaul.
Kieanne MNot the personal shop/business specifically that I had a problem with. But the online side of things made my rental process take longer then necessary or needed. Then my whole move got interrupted because it was “after moving hours” for the building, causing me to returned the truck shortly after 11:30, to find out the building has no wifi so I couldn’t confirm my drop off of the truck at the location like the app requests. Once again, was a mobile/online problem. Not the actual locations fault. The official U-haul support (1-800) number was very helpful and efficient thankfully!

Mark TThe uhaul was not cleaned off door qas frozen shut and their qas a bed in it.I called to reserve from georges laundry barrel, then got a call about him not having a 26 foot uhaul I was asked to pick up west pleasant and drop off at gworges and when I dropped it off deorge was confused as he had 7 26 footers. I was told I would get 1 day rental and 62 cents a km I didn't that I'm aware of as George didn't know anything about this even thou Emma head office said it was documented

Mark Ctruck was full of dog hair and dust I'm allergic! I had to get more allergy medication in order to drive this dirty vehicles. I'm disappointed.
ABDELAZIZ HI booked weeks in advance expecting a 15' truck and the day before pickup (this was far too little notice), I was told that I would have to get the 26' truck which cost me far more in gas than expected. While the original contract stipulated that the mileage would be enough to cover my move. The last minute change also included moving the location to pickup 19 km (12 miles) which meant put constraints on my already short timeline and I had to pay extra miles. The person calling me was adamant that I was the one that had to be inconvenienced by this change in plan. While the back was clean, the cab was full of leaves and detritus. The clerks were friendly enough but didn't seem to have any authority to advise or adjust to accommodate the change to the contract. I will not be using uhaul in the future since your company seems to not be able to meet your contracts.
Paul BLet the renter know in advance the item pre booked is not available from the location requested, not fair to advise the day before pick up. Any only b6 an email.

Paul SI requested mobile pickup and the location did not have that option. This resulted in me not having my walker with me to go inside and having to send my sister and brother in law in. Only to find they couldn't locate the reservation. Emails and texts were not clear after pickup AND they changed the name on the rental which means that I cannot claim the expense even though it's been charged to my credit card for my move. Only today (more than 24hrs) after the truck was returned got the text stating the truck is due back in 23hours. This U-Haul experience is the worst one ever and I would no longer recommend them for anyone.

DAROLD SThis entire experience has been the worst I have ever had. I arrived to pick up the truck and was told that the truck I was meant to have had not been returned and the nearest replacement was in Summerside PEI (2 provinces away). There was a truck sitting in the parking lot that I was told was already rented out and unavailable, but if the truck I was meant to have was returned the office would call me. I spent the next 4hrs on hold with the main U-Haul line and was hung up on or disconnected multiple times. When I was finally able to get someone on the line who was able to help me, they informed me that the truck I had been looking at 4hrs earlier was in fact the one I was supposed to have and there was no other rentals in that store. I returned to the original office to get the truck that I should have been able to pick up more than 6hrs ago at this point, only to find that the office had been closed for several hours because the owner had decided to close early that day to go to a meeting. The owners teenage son eventually was able to show up another hour later, after another hour on hold with the main U-Haul office. Through this entire affair my partner was on the phone with the Summerside PEI office, who thankfully were far more competent than anyone I had been dealing with so far and had put aside a truck for us in case we were unable to reach the missing owner in Nova Scotia. I can unequivocally say that this was the most stressful, awful experience I have ever had with any sort of rental company and were it not for the agent in Ontario that was finally able to find our truck and organize someone bringing the keys, and the staff in the Summerside office who were so kind, I would never be willing to use this company again.
