They gave me a rental with 1/4 tank of gas, I returned it almost 3/4 full. Upon arrival employee asked how many blankets I wanted. I said however many were ordered for this rental. I asked for Safe Trip to be put on the rental. She printed off the rental and told me I did not need it as I was already covered under the insurance. After putting equipment into van , she licked up shop and immediately left for lunch or something before I could even finish closing the back door. I had to spend about 30 minutes calling U-Haul representatives to try and put on Safe Trip as they told me it was not covered under the insurance. They said only the location could add it, but she was gone and had no interest anyways in doing my request.

ROBERT BLocal staff was awesome however the continual calls multiple times a day along with repeated emails and texts from head office trying to confirm rental with mixed times and dates along with a lady who was very difficult to hear was very intrusive and annoying as I was trying to do buisness elsewhere and my phone kept going off ive rented lots from uhaul and ive never had so many calls and confirmations as I did with this trailer youd think one confirmation with the local place that has the equipment would be enough and honestly if I get that many calls and emails and texts again im probably going to rent somewhere else not with uhaul...if i call to rent something im going to go rent it no need to chase me for a week about an upcoming transaction.. everything at the local end went smooth and efficiently definately a good experience at the local store... not so much with head office
TOMMY JThe oil light came on when we started the truck. 4 jugs had to be added because it was bone dry. And we didn’t think of looking at the kms on the truck when we left because of the oil issues and already running late but when we brought it back, there were 3 kms LESS than what my paper said.
