The location is great. Parking is tight, if you can make a deal with the business' near you to use their parking for the larger trucks that might be ideal.

The staff was not apologetic about their systems being slow and the van had poor windshield wipers. The fact there was only one computer working also did not help. There was so poor signal on my phone however it was on my as a customer to provide information related to getting the rental done.

On the day of rental, the young lady at the desk was coordinating with someone over the ohone probably due to a glitch? The weather was very cold and we waited over 30 minutes, going in and out to keep warm. Finally, an elderly lady came from home to give us the key to the truck. I think there needs to be 2 people working if there are rentals involved for the day because the clerk had to lock the door inorder to access the key from the lock box outside, meanwhile, other customers need to go inside the store to buy stuff and pay for gas. I was unhappy with the wait time since I had movers waiting. Time is money!

The u haul 15 inch truck I purchased was very unsafe to drive once I entered on the highway, the car was shaking uncontrable and the alignment needs to be replaced..On top of having a poor experience I was discriminatined against & yelled at upon returning the u haul by a male clerk .. He was very disrespectful and rude , we exchanged words and he was being racist towards me . The clerk proceeded to be nasty in rude as going as far as mocking me when I tried explaining that they needed to have better trucks and routine maintenance on the vehicles before they rent them to customers.. The male clerk only cared about the extra miles I drove & that I was a little late returning the u-hual .I couldn't understand why I was being treated so poorly, & also given a u haul truck that was unsafe to drive. So I proceeded to lock my bank card until further notice. The entire experience was unsafe, & unsatisfactory. . I feel like because the color of my skin (BLACK) I was personally given a u haul truck that needs a lot of work done. The male clerk would not give me his names when I asked him . I felt cheated because the color of my skin & this has never happened to me ever while renting from U-Haul ...the customer service is always outstanding but this particular U-Haul location needs more training on customers services and regularly maintenance. That male clerk humiliated me by being racist and nasty in front of my family members who witness this dispeacable behavior. I asked that U-Haul have some type of repercussions on this location for poor customer service & renting out trucks that can potentially cause a collision due to its failed maintenance

Truck was in terrible condition, broken radio, broken windshield wiper, dirty blankets. Staff was rude. Made a reservation at another location and called this location accidentally. The staff convinced me to go with them instead, which was a big mistake. Im going to be leaving a 1 start Google review for the first time ever.

The truck was very sluggish and loud to drive, sounds like the transmission needs work. The cab also had a ton of road and wind noise, as if the windows did not roll up all the way. The pick up location is extremely crowded, difficult to drive the truck into and out of the area. Customer service was good, and they got the billing information correct.

I reserved the truck for 8am and couldn't pick it up until 9am because the key box didn't work and the store manager wasn't there when the store was supposed to open at 8am. My wife and I waited one hour in the gas station parking lot.... Not good!

They are liars and lazy. We told the guy to check the gas level, but he refused even though he didn’t have work and then once we left, he was like the gas level is not correct. They need to be sued. They lie too much.

I originally reserved a truck at a different location. When I received the confirmation call the man on the phone did not notify me that my reservation had been transferred to his store. I was only notified of this after he told me the pick up location and I questioned him. Also, I had rented a utility truck and a furniture dolly, when I arrived to pick up the truck, I was then told that they didn’t or have any dollies, and even if they did they allow you to take them one way; I should have been notified of this upon confirmation of my rental. Luckily, I was able to rent the dollies from another U-Haul location. Further, when I entered the rental truck there was garbage in the dash console and old food on the floor of the truck.

She was lazy told us that we had to do her job of driving the truck to a nearby location, instead of the address/ExxonMobil listed on the drop off. She also told us we had to bring her thr dolly inside of the store. She said she couldn't drive the truck and it couldn't stay parked on the side with the other smaller trucks! She over charged for gas and didn't discount the drive we had to take further the truck for her convenience. She didn't take off for our inconvenience of doing her job either. We had the gas exactly where it was when we picked the truck up prior to having to move it to the location She told us to take it to. She stated that if we didn't move the truck to the other designates location, we would have to contact uhaul and find another drop off location!

I don’t know if it’s this location only that has a minimum charge for rental and their rebuttal is that they’ll refund you whatever you don’t contractually use but the fact that you’re forced to pay for the minimum when it doesn’t even state that online is bogus to me

After finishing the checkout process with the sales rep after returning the truck, he waited 20 minutes after I left to call me and tell me to come back and fold all of the moving blankets or pay a $25 cleaning fee. I felt he intentionally waited to tell me so he could charge me more.

BETTER MAINTENANCE NEEDED!!!!! 1st Truck had dead battery! Had long walk back to the office to return key & get another vehicle. Next vehicle turned over slowly, but eventually started. Filthy inside! Floor mats covered in food crumbs, empty water bottles. Drivers window was left open several inches and rain got in all over drivers seat and floor boards. I was able to use napkins to dry off the seat. Vehicle transmission was VERY LOUD, so bad, I couldn't hear my GPS audio instructions. For what you charge to rent your equipment, your vehicles are not in the best of shape!

I am writing to commend the employee at the Town Center Exxon -U-Haul center for his outstanding level of accommodation and professionalism during my recent rental. Due to unforeseen circumstances with my move, I was required to make multiple changes to my reservation on the day of pick-up, including altering the rental time and modifying several items within the order itself. The young gentleman handled these requests with remarkable composure and flexibility, processing every change directly at the counter. His willingness to accommodate my evolving needs, which I had been concerned about, was greatly appreciated and significantly reduced my stress. I also had a question regarding the mileage charges. I noticed the contract listed a 50-mile minimum charge, which was substantially higher than the 15 miles I had originally projected for my move. The employee expertly explained that the 50-mile charge is a standard, automated minimum for local contracts, but he assured me that the difference would be promptly refunded since I would not be using the full allotment. While the initial mileage minimum caused a moment of frustration, the staff member's clear explanation and commitment to resolving the issue demonstrated an impressive dedication to customer satisfaction. I highly recommend this location based on the staff's ability to navigate complex on-the-spot changes and their transparent communication regarding company policies and billing.

Total misunderstanding which was completely my fault. I kept the U-Haul longer than I was supposed to. Long story short a young man that works at the location was very nasty and rude threatening to call the police. I went personally to the location spoke with the manager and she extended the U-Haul for a couple of hours

The truck was not at this location, we were using mobile check in so it made it more difficult to have to drive across the street and down into another complex to go get the truck and drop it back off, the gas station itself was ok but to get the keys and have to go find the truck was frustrating

It is annoying that I was charged a $9.00 fuel charge for two additional gallons. I put in $40.00 and paid more than most area gas stations. I thought the gauge was full. Had he told me he disagreed, I could have at least put in two more gallons for less than $9.00. Lesson learned, will never use this location again.

Don't switch to a location much farther away - I was planning to walk there, then had to take a taxi instead. Call attention to the 2 similarly-named "Carroll" pickup locations. I ended up at the wrong one. Notify me if the number of blankets I requested is not available at the pickup location. I requested four dozen but received 11 total blankets. (This ended up working out better for me because of a bad estimate but the point remains true.)

The customer service at this U-Haul location was exceptionally poor. The entire process, from pickup to return, fell short of the standards I have experienced at other U-Haul locations. During pickup, the process was rushed, and essential equipment was left out despite being paid for. The return process was even more frustrating. The attendant who was supposed to check me in was extremely rude. I was present when another customer returned their vehicle after me, and the attendant, who was speaking their language, appeared to be having a good time with this person. They demonstrated exceptional customer care for this individual. I had arrived ten minutes before this person arrived. After the attendant had laughed with this person, he inquired about my departure, as the customer needed to park their vehicle. Prior to this interaction, I was unaware that this person was the attendant. I mistook them for friends who had met there. As he asked me the question, my response was, “What does it matter?” I then asked, “Who are you?” He responded, “I work here.” I did not receive the same warm response that the other customer had received. The situation escalated further when I requested to be checked in and completed while I was there. Instead, the attendant informed me that I had to wait and that he would complete the check-in in an hour. I decided to do self-check-in, but I was unable to complete it because I was being charged for equipment that I had not received. The attendant had walked down to assist the person who had come in after me to complete their check-in. As I asked him how I could get the equipment removed that I had not received, he responded with great rudeness and stated that he would complete it if I hadn’t. I responded with, “Okay,” and followed him into the store. I asked him if he was going to take off the equipment, and he replied, “Yes.” I stood there waiting for him to complete my transaction, and he informed me that he would send me an email with the completed transaction. As he was in front of the terminal, I asked him if he was doing mine now, and he replied, “No.” I told him when it’s complete, you will get an email. I left the store because I was becoming increasingly angry and was about to lose my temper. I would never recommend renting from this location.

I arrived and the guy refused to give me the truck unless I provided more information then what I provide when booking online. I have rented multiple times before and never had to provide what he was asking... I called the uhaul customer service line and the lady I spoke with even talked with the guy in the store and couldn't believe what/how he was treating me. The customer service person took care of finishing up the rental, on her end, of the system so that the guy just had to give me the keys.. she remained in the line until I got to the truck and inspected it... upon inspection, the truck was extremely dirty on the inside, had less the half gas and was below satisfactory, as even stated by the rep. when she saw the image when uploaded. I could only provide one image but there was food wrappers and receipts under and around the inside and looked as though it was driven on a dirt road with the windows down... Will definitely not rent from that location again. Poor experience all around.
