We have had issues with U-Haul in the past. I'm happy to say that this rental went very well. The pick-up location was changed but still convenient. Everything else went flawlessly. The condition of the truck was very good.

They ripped me off on the mileage. The starting mileage was recorded incorrectly, so they said I drove 81.6 miles when it was no more than 20 (3 round trips between Columbia mall & Big Lots shopping center on 175 at Dobbin Rd, about 6 miles per round trip). Someone called me Sat. night, acknowledging the error and said I would receive a refund on my credit card but I have not received it.

This location rented my vehicle out tp someone else despite having made a reservation for it over a week prior. They didn't tell us the vehicle wasn't ready until we arrived at the location to start our moving process. After being given the UHaul hotline and a long phone call outside the store, $50 was refunded from UHaul and we were upgraded to a larger truck at no extra cost.

This location was a gas station and the gentleman felt he was to busy. When he finally got to me he said his machine was down and I had to do everything in my phone ny self. He wasn't very helpful.

The two ladies that checked me in were incompetent and took over 15 minutes to get me keys even though I picked mobile check in. The gentlemen that was there when I returned was so rude, his co-worker came out and apologized to me.

The lady who originally started my paperwork charged me for insurance without my consent. I have my own insurance through USAA and would of declined coverage. She also gave me the wrong truck. I requested the smallest truck which was a 10 foot truck. She gave me a 15 foot truck instead. So when I tried to return the truck, there wasn't any record in the computer. The gentleman at the gas station said he would fix everything, create a new contract and waive he insurance. When I got my new email, the insurance was still on the new contract. He lied and did not waive it for me. I will never use them again.

Exxon Town Center less than 1/4 tank of gas. Had to go get gas before I made the trip to Bethesda and because of that my mileage was over so they charged me also didn’t ask if I wanted care insurance automatically assumed I did so charged me also charged me for blanket which I did not have. . I have used Uhaul previously and never had these problems.
