Variety of vehicle available, smooth process and friendly staff

NILESH SThe person in the store was only minimally helpful and made no effort to help us to understand where to park or how to resolve an issue we were having. We finally found the lot where we were to leave the truck, and there was a man with a headset roaming around there but he made no effort to engage with us either. We returned our truck as we found it, full of gas, cargo hold empty, and left our rented blankets in the front of the truck as the app told us to. When we forgot something in the truck and needed the key back, the person in the store was annoyed that he had to get the key and also made us get the blankets and bring them to him - if that was truly our job then the app should say that. I would not use Town Center Exxon for a pick up or drop off again and I will tell my friends.

RIMA SParking was very limited and where the attendant suggested I park my car was in a very high traffic area. When I returned the van, there were no parking spots available and the attendant was not very helpful - he asked me to move my car and then move the van to that spot. Yeah, no.

It would have been better as policy to have the tank on full prior to rental and if you plan on traveling any distance with the U-Haul be mindful of the cost of mileage added to the total! It would be good in the future to have an unlimited miles per gallon option!

JUAN VRental experience was confusing, I was contacted 3 days after I dropped the truck off and was asked where the truck and keys were.

IAN BThe truck was almost on E but on the paper it said it was a 3 quarters of a tank. The guy tried charging me $68 for gas I didn't use! I paid $130 down for a $42 truck and only got $11 back!

TANIEAH JThank you for the clean 26' truck and an appliance dolly. Thank you for having a 26' truck available on time for my move to go as planned. There were set backs. The truck went into some grunting mode if I hit brakes, making a sound as if it is not able to shift to lower gears. The appliance dolly had wheels which would not move. In the end, the moving helpers got a dolly of their own, much better wheels. I would have liked my money back for the dolly. Overall, the move happened and that matters more.

LENTAYSHA TI appreciate the return process where the agent completes this - minimizes competing for agent time with other customers. I would appreciate the UHaul on line reservation also collect the pictures of driver license and other items asked by the agent at vehicle pickup. The result is to walk in to pick up keys and walk in to drop off keys.
JOHN SMy mobile pick up was not ready when I got there. I had to go talk to the gas station attendant which delayed my several minutes from my errands. I wasn’t about that.

RAMESH VI was able to check-in on their app for my appointment which made things much more efficient, as when I got to the location to pick up the rental truck, there were two people ahead of me in line. So when it was my turn, I was able to confirm the appointment and payment info, got my keys and was on my way. Friendly staff and convenient location right in Town Center.

Natasha VI was rented a truck that had a headlight out, excess play in the steering system, lagged when accelerating, & which had a faulty fuel gauge. After filling the tank $30+ above where it was when I started & returning it clean with furniture pads folded, I was charged a $25 cleaning fee. This location has limited hours, it’s a hike from the business to where the trucks are if you’re renting equipment/furniture pads, and they nickel and dime you after getting over on you for free fuel thanks to a severely delayed fuel gauge. 0/10

Emily PThe storekeeper swore at me. I never swore at her at any point. Her Indian accent was extremely thick, and I couldn't understand the things she was saying, so I would repeat what I thought I heard her say, so she could correct me. She finally got tired of me trying to understand and decipher what she was saying, and said, "I'm tired of your bullshit! We're done. Good-bye!" And she walked to another area of the store. Both my husband and I were stunned. We attempted to calm her down while she continued with her temper tantrum, explaining to her that I was trying very hard to understand her because her accent is so thick. At that point, I took out my phone to start recording our interaction. She plainly saw what I was doing and immediately changed her demeanor, speaking very politely from that point on.
