My gas gauge told to me on my documents was about 2/5th higher than it truly was. So after inspecting the vehicle I brought it to the attention of the attendant. Then I only used the 15' to pick up a washer and dryer from one side of town to move it to the other side of town. So I didn't make a mess in the back cab. When I cleaned it out I got 2 full dust pans worth of trash and dirt out of it. Also my vehicle had and still has 2 large pieces of blue masking tape attached to the window. It appears the window was possibly replaced and the tape was never taken off. Since I didn't put it on it didn't take it off but to me that was a safety concern while trying to drive. Lot of issues for a half day rental.I put average because my last 2-3 rentals from uhaul have all been a mess. It's like they don't care because you don't have other choices in the area. Nothing offered as far as a discount for all the issues.Brandon B.
Please review your insane policy of requiring a third party to literally answer the phone and say yes before someone can rent a truck. First, most people do not answer phone calls from unfamiliar numbers and, in many cases, those calls are automatically ignored and treated as spam. Second, it is a very easy policy to circumvent for people willing to be dishonest. Any random person in the store could have been my third party contact, as there was no identity verification involved in the call. They didn't even ask for my friend's name in the call. Alternatively, I could provide an alternate phone number of mine and just pretend to be someone else. This easily circumvented policy was highly frustrating and no one was willing to help me the night of my rental. The help line was completely unhelpful plus had an hour long hold time. I also ended up having to delay my move due to this ridiculous policy.KIMBERLY JO W.

I'm not happy I finally talk to a manager because the lady wanted to charge me for 6 gallons when I didn't even go 15 miles there is no way possible for me to use 6 gallons for 15 miles I put gas in it and I'm just no longer going to ever use U-Haul again even though they refunded me the manager was straight rude. But he even agreed there's no way possible that I should've been charged 6 gallons for 15 miles I don't know what's going on at this location but I will never go back if I need to move anything for now on I'm going to Penske and never had any problems with them.Wendy T.

The truck was very clean and well maintained. On the return end, before office hours, I had difficulty with the on line return process. Judy at the 866 phone number was extremely helpful. She said she'd call the office on Ft Apache once they opened and take care of things for me. When I call the Ft Apache office later in the day, the woman there was also extremely courteous as she verified that Judy had called and that everything with my return was in order. One of the worse experience I ever had . I placed an order for a 26 feet truck two week prior to my pick up. On the day of pick up I revived a 20 feet truck with over 111k miles on it , tires from 2015. After 50 miles transmission wasn't working properly . It took me triple the time to get to my location. Barely made it to my location I could of got home faster on a wild burro. Road assistance never answer. On top of all that I had to rent a 15 feet truck Worse moving experience I ever had. The staff and location were excellent. The problem is, I used the online reservation form to request the car trailer. I entered precisely the vehicle I was using to tow the trailer and I also entered precisely the vehicle that I was towing. The online form replied that the trailer I was requesting is appropriate for what I was using it for. Once I got the vehicle loaded on the trailer, there was only 1" between the rear tires and the end of the trailer. This resulted in a poor weight distribution on the trailer and it made the tripâ€¦ interesting.MICHAEL WAYNE O.

The customer service at the location where the Uhaul was picked up was less than satisfactory. Reservation was 10:00 am and the doors were locked. Waited for almost 30 minutes before someone arrived to assist. And then the customer service during the pickup process was non-engaging and non-apologetic for being late like he was doing us a service. Would recommend a different location.CHRISTOPHER JOHN M.
