The computer system was down when we went to pickup a rental truck. What should have taken us fifteen minutes took over an hour, plus the paperwork wasn’t accurate and there wasn’t any way to verify because the system was down and we were told that it’d be corrected once the system was back up (it didn’t). Then we were called by UBox department to transport a UBox to another location for a payment, an extra day of rental and extra miles. Unfortunately, the UBox department and the regular Uhaul department do not communicate, so we were charged for an extra day of rental and had to call to dispute the charge (took 3 phone calls to fix). For our move from Idaho to Arizona we rented a 20 foot truck, a 15 foot truck and a 5x8 trailer. Each rental transaction was a nightmare. Nothing went well from day one: the first rental at Honeysuckle Mart, the gal had never done a rental before-plus was limited in English-, my husband had to wait on the manager to arrive, who was 20 minutes late. I received the receipt after my husband picked up the truck. Surprisingly no paperwork wasn’t given to my husband to sign, however the receipt had a signature (not my husband’s on it). The district manager said it was signed by the manager as an “courtesy” to show the receipt was sent to us. NOTE: the part that was signed was supposed to be the customer’s signature acknowledging they agree with the document and the terms (not what the district manager said). Everything went downhill from there.

Agent didn't offer to check anything, when returned, was just given a hand wave to go away. Didn't close contract out until 30-45 minutes after I returned the equipment.
