My original reservation was to pick up a truck in Madison. I was called at 11 am the day before pick up to inform me that the nearest truck was in Clinton, 1 hour away. There were no other trucks anywhere. The Madison location opened at 7. This location opened at 9. I did not want to do a mobile pick up, which is why I picked the store in Madison that opened at 7. The mobile pickup took 50 minutes and a call to customer service to complete, because it malfunctioned and the cell service wasn't good. You'd think uhaul would offer free wifi to connect their customers since the mobile pick up says that you need wifi and you can't initiate pickup until you're on site. The customer service rep was excellent. However, two hours of driving and an hour to successfully complete pick up put me three hours behind for a multi-state move.
