Fix equipment and ensure vehicles have fuel to drive. When I arrived I had to make a separate trip for gas because the last driver did not refuel and the truck would not start because the fuel tank was empty. Additionally, u haul charged me a â€œrental chargeâ€ they did not advise about in advance for their price quotes, and I paid double what I was originally quoted, not including mileage.Samuel D.
I was there at 3:55 pm .. there was nobody at the location except old lady. I was need help because that was my first time renting a big truck (26 feet) using my mobile. That lady was laaaaaazy, I was struggling I was need to talk to anybody. She was trying hide her eyes from me. After that she locked the door at 4:15!!!!. My wife knocked at the window to let her know that we need help. She came over the counter and told us I don't know any thing about trucks and nobody here to help u. That was not acceptable for me at all. I wish if you really would like to keep me as a customer or keeping your customers to do something for her. That was my first experience but it was very bad experience because of her reaction.Rami D.

The truck I had a reservation for was not available and no one was at the location at the time indicated by your reservation system. The attendant says U Haul promises trucks that he does not have on a regular basis. I will NOT use U Haul again.ELEANOR D.

The services was not so un-organize. The person who runs the location was so unprofessional. They had to call someone else to set up my pick up. When I returned the truck @ 11:30 there was no one at the office. This was the worst experience I have had with U-haul. I will never recommend this location to no one.DEBORAH A.

I was switched from my preferred location to transportation in style by U-Haul because this location supposedly had the items I needed to rent. I specifically needed an appliance dolly and 12 furniture pads included on the 20' truck. I called and talked to the guy who runs this location the day prior and he confirmed he had a appliance dolly and the furniture pads and that he himself would put them on the truck. When I arrive to check the truck out at 7am using the 24 hour check in on the app, there are only 6 furniture pads and just a regular hand truck on the truck, not the larger appliance dolly with straps. So I'm being charged for the appliance dolly and for 12 furniture pads that aren't on the truck. I report this to U-Haul, I have to drive out of the way while being charged mileage to another U-Haul location and have to go through the entire rental process and pay for another appliance dolly that I'm already being charged for. It was to my understanding by the U-Haul representative when I was told to drive to the other location, I would just be picking up an appliance dolly that was left off my order, not having to pay for another. I was also told by a U-Haul representative when asked how I would be refunded for the items that were left off, they specifically said when I return the equipment to transportation in style, that they would refund me. So when I return the truck, hand truck, appliance dolly, and furniture pads back to transportation in style, I get told by the guy who runs this location that "I didn't check you out, you used the app so you charged yourself for the wrong equipment", and that he will not give me a refund. All I'm asking for is a refund on the appliance dolly and the 6 furniture pads that were left off. When I asked how I would get my refund, with attitude, I get told to call U-Haul and then closes the door in my face. The guy who runs this location is very rude and unprofessional to say the least. Overall, this entire process was awful. I get switched from my preferred location that's only a few miles from where I was moving from, get told all the equipment is at transportation in style and that's the reason for the change, only for this location not have it and fully charge me. And then get told that it was my fault "you checked yourself out" and can't be refunded by the guy who told me the day before he had everything. I never got his name, but if the guy who runs this transportation in style is who you chose to represent U-Haul, I will never use or refer anyone to U-Haul again.Nathaniel W.

The owner at the uhaul indirect dealer was hard to understand. His accent was so thick I couldn't understand him, the car Dolley had a broken light, the seat was ripped in the truck, he took 20 extra minutes to bring me a dolley after I forgot it, and he charged me twice for the dolley, and he added insurance that I didn't want nor ask forFRANK P.
I will never ever ever recommend or rent from this location ever again they are misleading customers they tell them one thing and then they do another it is very on professional but if that's the way you mislead customers and get customers to rent from you that is very unfair to the customers specially if they're working on a budget I am so disgusted with this location and no one I hope no one would ever rent from them again due to their poor poor customer service where they don't explain and when they do explain they explain their in their favorMARGARITA B.

The location was fine. But I was charged for equipment I didn't receive. I was promised and paid for an appliance dolly and instead got a smaller dolly. And if it wasn't for the personnel there to help me checkout I would t have been able to get my truck due to confusion and a slow website.Joseph E.

Phone help making reservations was fantastic and the gentleman at the U-haul dealer was excellent! I rented the trailer, picked it up and was on my way in less than 45 minutes! And it took me 20 minutes to drive there! U-haul is the best and most convenient - Note: I went to Home Depot to rent a trailer initially and they insisted I had to rent the truck as well. Way too expensive and my F-350 Super duty could drag any Penske Truck down the road with ease!Eric C.

No one was there...no drop of instructions, only a key drop. No happy with no one being at this location because I wanted to make sure everything was good with the equipment. We had 24 pads and they were not even listed on the contract because the location in Athens just gave us the pad without putting them on the contract. We could have kept them and no one would have know, but we cleaned the truck, folded the pads and cleaned the hand-truck before returning the unit. We were not happy about leaving the unit without someone being there.John F.

The right top light on the trailer was out of place that they keep it up on maintenanceLydia E.
The cab area was not very clean. Cup holders dirty, small pieces of trash or something in the passenger seat. Dirt inside the cargo area. Signs at the U-haul pickup point state that trucks are clean and must be returned clean, so that creates a higher expectation for the customer when they step inside the truck. The truck was not horrible, but when you say it will be clean, I was expecting that.Tim O.

The owners office location for this U-Haul was way in the back of a multi office building there was only two signs posted for the direction of where the location was it was very small and very cramped. I'm a very good driver however the owner of this location forced me to get insurance for $28 I didn't ask for insurance when I initially made my arrangements for this U-Haul when I did get to him he basically was not trying to let me leave with the truck without getting the insurance I was not trying to pay for the insurance but the art of forced me into getting the insurance instead of having another number or something to contact him at as soon as a business line he gave me his cell phone number to be able to text him a picture of the mileages and the gas on the truck. I will never ever refer anybody else to this location again I seen the complaints in the reviews from Google for this location before I picked up but since it was the closest one to my storage location and to get back on the highway I chose this location however I would never refer this location to anyone else that I know.Jessica B.
The amount of time of the rental should be more clearly spelled out. The agent at the pick up location could have underscored this, the call from Customer Service (800 number) could have underscored this, and the documentation itself could have underscored this. There was a cigarette butt in the glove box. Not a regular place to inspect, so I see how it was missed. Sure, I'd recommend the location, but I didn't see a fleet of trucks, just the one I rented. Maybe he pulled it around front for me? It was an unusual location physically, and had not been my first choice. The customer service was exceptional though.Ethan H.

I wanted to rent a 20 foot truck and he didnt have one he told me he would give me the 26 foot for the price of the 20 foot truck which was not true he made my contract for hours instead of day. I was charged 1.09 per mile cause it was a weekend and that is outrageously priced. Not satisfied at I was called three times and rushed to get the truck back. I called when I went to deliver the truck back and no one answered.poor customer service .donna D.

We had made our reservation for 7AM. They called me the day before telling me they didn't open until 8, so we arrived at 8 and no one was there. I could not get the self serve option to work. I then called customer service and was on hold for 30 minutes. When someone finally picked up they told me the self serve option wasn't working because this location didn't change my reservation time. I went back at 9 to get the truck and no one was there still. When we finally got the truck later than we were supposed to, they call at 5PM asking where we were even though we reserved 10 hours with the truck. Will not be using this again. Can not believe I wasted money here.Kayla W.

The website said that they were open on Sunday which is why I picked that location. No one was there. So, I unhooked the trailer, put the paperwork inside the trailer, took photos, left a message that was never returned, and then hoped the trailer would still be there whenever they showed up.ROBERT H.
