My first reservation was canceled by the location. They called and said the truck was broke down and unavailable. So then I tried to find another truck and there was not a truck the same length that I needed. I finally found a smaller truck and we went to pick it up. And the facility did not have the key in the dropbox. This is supposed to be a mobile pick up only location. Then finally after looking around for somebody for 30 minutes we found someone and they gave us the key. We then went to start the truck and it would not start. We told her this. She told us there’s nothing she could do but that we could try jumping it with jumper cables. So we did that it finally started. Then we got down the road and I broke down again. I tried calling u-Haul for roadside assistance and it’s over an hour wait on the phone. So then we called through my own insurance roadside assistance, and they brought another pair of jumper cables. We got it going again. We got to my mother-in-law‘s house and loaded up then we went back to my house to drop off my mother-in-law‘s stuff. Then we were going to go back for another load in the truck wouldn’t start again. So we had to jumpstart it again. This happened a total of four times throughout the day. It’s absolutely ridiculous. I can’t get anybody on the phone to talk to you about it. U-Haul advertises that they owe the Customer $50 when our reservation is not available at the time reserved. But yet I can’t get anybody on the phone. I am so angry right now. We were supposed to get my mother-in-law moved completely out of her house over the weekend and that did not happen because of all of this taking up half the day on Saturday.

would rather use a real uhaul location
Christopher LYou guys moved the rental i had to get home miles away in a town with no cabs, at 3am. I had to walk home, after loading and unloading a truck. Four miles. Your customer service has zero agency, the app does NOT work, the "truck is available at this location' seems to be theoretical. I will go out of my way to never use uhaul again, and will actively tell everyone i know to use every competitor first.
JOHN HI will never rent anything from any company again that requires me to do your job. This is b/s, I paid twice what I have in the past and have to spend hours of my time to download apps that want to harvest my data, take a bunch of pictures and have noone to facilitate the process. More money for less service I will find another way next time
