The process for online pickup is excruciatingly painful. I lost 45 minutes trying to scan and load my drivers license. Between "lost" passwords and contacting 1st and 2nd contacts, I was numb to the entire process and had to find my inner self. And as for "$29.95" per day? Yea that's a gimmick. You guys have more add ons than anyone I know. Cost me $129 for an in-city move. And what was the $14 Safe thing all about??Martin R.

This was not the location I signed up to return the truck. This caused a lot of frustration on the day of return. In conjunction with being charged more money than quoted, not being provided with a receipt, and seeing an additional $7k charge on my credit card, I am extremely disappointed with my experience.Evan M.

Dirty vans, they haven't seen a wash in between it appears.. Office looked very unkept, dirty as well.. the gentleman that handled me was nice but customer service was not on his mind.. seemed unorganized compared to the e Ben white location this wasn't too nice.. I got my van and I'm happy, it just wasn't anything like the other locations not really their fault I supposed.AGNES Z.

This place is a dump. Feral cats roam the grounds at all times of the day and night. The site purports to have a key drop-off slot. But it in actuality only has a few key boxes, all of which are locked for days on end. I needed to drop my key through a mail slot.Juliana T.

It wasn't my preferred location, and wasn't as close as the one we requested. It's fine, but I'd prefer a U-haul location where you can also purchase things like boxes. Additionally, the truck was given to us with only a half a tank of gas.GREGORY S.

When I went to pick up my truck, there was no record of my reservation-even though I had ALREADY PAID. Fortunately, someone had just dropped one off and the person to whom it should have gone was late picking it up. I hate to think of what might have happened had this not been the case. Also, having driven a Penske just a few days before, I must say that the UHaul trucks are less comfortable and less well appointed than Penske.Sydney S.

I was charged $201.02 . From start Pick up Rental truck at 10:15 AM ON 3-31 -2021 24 Hour. So I Returned U-Haul on 4-1-2021 at 3:10 PM. 16 1/2 miles at .89 cent a mile. $201.03. And $29.95 a day . I was over Charged. All is misleading. It's not right.Christine O.

I didn't receive the equipment I requested. This is the second time (2/2) that this has happened to me at U-haul. It's never happened with another company. A simple heads up would be appreciated and would have saved me a lot of grief. I was depending on having a dolly to move heavy items and had a really difficult time moving them without it. You all really let us down and put us in a rough spot twice now. Next time I will cancel my reservation entirely if my equipment is missing.Phillip C.

Dog hair, filthy cab, bird poop wind shield, broken large side mirror , two leaking tire valves that had to be replaced en route at commercial tire shop, remainder had low tires, only 7 blanket wraps on site. Basically a hovel of a business.Lynn F.

The app is UNUSABLE. I had to try at least 20 times to get through the check-in process, and 30+ times for the check out process. I eventually gave up on checking out and had to call customer service. This was on both the app AND the website. EXTREMELY frustrating and pretty much inexcusable for this kind of service. Extremely upset that I rented this truck to get a piano and drove out to round rock only to discover that the truck didn't have a ramp. Had to figure out how to lift a 400lb piano in and out of the truck without a ramp. Drove back to the location I got the truck and no one was there. Drove to the slaughter location and was told I would have to return the truck and get a bigger one (pay even more money) because they didn't have any ramps I could use. Ended up taking way more time than needed, and doing damage to the piano that I just paid for getting in and out of the truck. Awful experience.megan C.
