Have the truck have more gas. The truck should never require going to the gas station right away because of the gas being so low. The amount of credit given to the renter because of the fuel level was too little and not reflective of the 4.15 a gallon cost. U haul charges the person returning the vehicle with low gas a huge gas fee but doesn’t compensate the person picking up the vehicle with the same rate. U- haul makes money on the renter who brought the vehicle back very low and passes the burden on to the next renter with little consideration. It just isn’t right that a vehicle you pick up doesn’t have a quarter tank of gas in it. I will consider other truck rental companies next time.
