STACEY HWe was told that we had to return our truck and trailer at 8:30an. The place was closed when we arrived. I called every single Uhaul location in the town, to see if we should just leave the truck, and the only one that answered their phone told me that they couldnt help me with Uhaul issues. When I finally got someone on the phone from the corporate Uhaul (I guess) from the 888 number in the contract, both of the people I spoke with was super nice and friendly. The second person just asked me to leave the truck, I asked him to put in his notes that I was taking a ton of pictures because this location was not in a very safe part of town, and i was honestly scared when people was riding up on bicycles hollering and screaming. The guy on the phone said that it would be noted that the truck was returned on time, and also said that this drop off location had changed their hours, so thank god for that 22 minute phone call. I honestly wasnt pleased with the look or location of the drop off, it didnt look or feel safe. Had I not had my husband with me, I would have also called and requested a sheriff's deputy to come by note the truck and trailer location and condition.
Laura HI don't recall her name, but representative was very friendly and checkout took mere seconds, I later realized I had left something in the truck, and when I returned an hour or so later, she had the item and said she had tried to reach out to me, but couldn't get my info from the system. While this is good from a security standpoint, there should be a way for u haul to contact customers. Anyhow, she was wonderful.

We went there 5 key boxes before we could find the right key. 3 different locations until I called and the young lady basically did everything step by step. Shoutout to her because without her you all re no help.

TERRELL JAfter reservations at deluxe auto sales in Valdosta and waiting for over a hr for someone to arrive to allow access for pickup and over 20 calls to see if someone was coming we had to drive to another location , further away , pay extra miles and rent a larger then previous reserved truck I highly doubt if I would refer uhaul ,

JARRETT NFirst my reservation location was changed at the last minute from a location right next to our house to a location 10 miles away. Then when I got there the woman running the place did not have a clue about what she was trying to do. She couldn’t get the reservation straight for the customer in front of me and I stood there for 20 minutes while she tried to straighten it out. When she finally got to me she first said she didn’t have the protection blankets I ordered then she found some piled up on top of some junk in the store and she had a guy literally climb up on top of a pile to retrieve them. Then she assigned me a truck with a complexly dead battery! I had to argue with her to get her to change me to another one sitting right there. She wanted to get her husband to jump the first one off and send me off to try to move with a truck with a dead battery! The store she is operating out of is so full of junk you can’t walk through it without tripping over junk on the floor. How in the world did a company like UHaul pick this place to have their customers pick up their equipment? Very obviously no one from UHaul ever checked it out. It is not only horribly unprofessional it is dangerous to even walk through the place. Then the person trying to run it obviously has never had any training about how to use the little hand held device she tries to use to check you in and out for your rental. Save yourself some grief and go someplace else!

TERRELL JUhaul company was horrible to finding me a uhaul but the lady at this location was nice and kind. Thanks for your service. I regret to say I will try to never use uhaul again because I had to travel 15 miles from my original place and 4 uhaul places later- I received a uhaul. Manager promised me $50 guarantee than lied because one of uhaul dealers made racist comments and I responded back with my comments. His actions made me have a reaction. We are all human. But God always has the last say- so. Amen.

TERRELL JThe whole pick up on your own is not convenient and all the nuances involved weren’t transparent making it a huge inconvenience, going against the whole point of serve yourself.
Nicholas OAll your locations should take lessons from this lady!! She is superb!! Never have I rented a truck that was as clean, smelled so good and was spotless inside the cab and the cargo area as this one. She has a great customer friendly personality. This was the BEST rental experience ever!! And I have rented from all of them.
