Tell me ahead of time that I need to spend 30 minutes getting the app to work. Also, it took me a while to find the lockbox and figure out where the ID number on the truck was. There was no information on how much actual gas I needed to put in. I had to google and find out the tank holds 40 gallons.Louis B.

I wish instructions where specifically to retrieve a key would've been helpful. U-haul staff was absent at a time of a pick up (lunch 1-2pm) and the office itself wasn't very easy to find. Drop off was effortless and fast though.Sergei S.

The selection of rental vehicles was poor; there were only two sizes of trucks to choose from. I had to rent a truck that was larger than my needs and costs more than I needed to pay. Your representative exceeded all expectations and should be recognized for this. She was courteous, compassionate and caring. She expedited my rental and I appreciate her for that.LARRY C.

The young man that was there to help us, was over run with a customer that had a U-Haul trailer hooked to her truck. It had a real problem that he was doing his best to fix, while more customers were showing up to p. u. Rentals. He had NO HELP! He was great & needs a raise! He was so sorry for holding us up and did his best to make it right!!!JAY S.

This was the worst experience I have had with uhaul. I rented a 26' truck on Oct 18 to use for 24hrs on Oct 29. It said online anytime in your 24 hr rental pickup so I figured I could pick it up anytime in my 24 hr rental period as long as it was returned on time. But no. When I get there to check in I got a message saying there was something wrong with my rental and to call this number. So I do and find out they gave my truck away to someone else because I was 30-60 mins late picking it up at the â€œschedâ€ 6:30am time. What does it matter when I pick up my rental that was rented for the whole day? Spent about 20 mins on the phone with them trying to figure out what to do now cause I needed that truck. They ended up giving me another customers 26' truck that was already there with cargo open and doors unlocked, because they weren't renting it until 9am the next day. So why give my truck away the day I need it but have that one still there? Made no sense. Then spent over an hr arguing with a representative online trying to verify why I was picking up a rental that wasn't mine. I had to provide 4 alternative contacts which they had to call and verify, and my lease agreement to my apartment to finally get the truck approved. I am glad we have moved into a home we plan on being there for years because this was such a stressful hassle when it did not need to be. I am going to look at other moving companies in the future.Trever F.

Walk the customer through the workings of the equipment, i.e., explain the lights, etc. We needed the lights for a short time during a rain and could not turn them on. Otherwise, after dark they were automatic. Staff was great though, and we didn't ask.MARILYN T.

The gentleman that helped me (I believe his name was Tristen) went above and beyond to determine what I needed, match the right equipment for my need and assure that I understood how to use the equipment by demonstrating how all worked on the truck. The agent who checked me in told me to return to van and just drop the keys through the slot in the door. Just before I returned the van someone from Uhaul called me to ask if I had returned the van. She told me to make sure and check in online. The renting agent never mentioned that. Nobody explained the check in process and that I had to create a user to do so. I ended up calling to get assistance. The assistance I got was of no help. I called back 2 minutes later and the help line was closed at 8:00pm. I finally figured out that I needed to create a user and then check in. I had to click a button to verify my location during this process. Since I was already on the road it just kept telling me that I was at the wrong location. It would not allow me to continue. Your process is flawed. Don't make it so complicated that it is hard for the consumer to complete. If the rental contract tells you about the check in app then you need to make sure the customer knows about it in the event we elect for an email contract/receipt.NEEL P.

They were not specific about where the truck was located when I went to pick it up with a remote check-in. Worse, the truck was lodged in to a spot with a truck behind and couldn't be backed out, once I was able to find it. I therefore had to inch my way forward and back in to a ditch to figure out how to back it around and between other trucks. All of this took an hour, which should have been a 10 min checkout at the most. Since I was late to meet my movers and they charged me an extra hour for waiting, uhaul should be responsible for these charges! This is unacceptable as a consumer. Don't offer remote checkin if you can't do it correct! I will never recommend it his location.Kellene M.

They could answer their phone when a customer is trying to call or at least give call backs. I left messages and no response. Thankful for the u-haul app I was able to do what I needed to.Nathan H.
The location was minimal but the one staff member that was there was friendly. The only recommendation is to be a little more aggressive in customer support. After I dropped the truck off, it was not apparent which building, let alone, where to drop the truck key. I didn't even know someone was present in the small facility but once I was in there, the staff member was helpful.JEREMIAH S.
So friendly person attending me, and had issues with phone when returning wehicle after hours, so just left it there. (Apart all went as planned, mileage, I filled up the tank etc). Outside of the vehicle was clean. Vehicle passenger door handle was about to fall off. The door itself was hard to close. Parking in the area was difficult. On-site help was courteous and respectful. The share 24/7 system did not work very well.Jeffrey O.

Clean your truck before you rent it to someone else Also the AC in the truck was faulty it would cut out for a long time and then would come back on which made for a very uncomfortable move with the HOT weather here in TexasDavid B.
I have moved with U-Haul probably 20 times in the last 25 years and this is been the best experience to date! The young man who checked us in and helped us was incredibly professional and well prepared! He let us use his personal dollies when he didn't have U-Haul supplies. Actually, I just realized that I kept one at the old house and will be returning it! Sorry! Hands-down the best experience ever!NAOMI C.
