We paid the extra fee for a utility dolly, and it was not included in the truck. We were informed we needed to drive to another location in order to pick one up. Therefore, we had to drop off the truck at one location, and the utility dolly at a different one... we were not offered any credit or compensation for the inconvenience. The staff, however, was very nice.

Extremely disappointed. The man working the desk was not properly trained. The 5x8 trailer was not safe. Filed a formal complaint with UHaul when I dropped it off yesterday. Was so unsafe, could have been life threatening if I had not found the problem at the first gas stop. The man at the desk asked if I wanted help attaching the trailer to my SUV, I’m a 65 year old woman…well yes I want help. Had to tighten the bolt to ensure trailer didn’t pop off SUV at least 5 times due to bent cap not keeping it secure. Safety chains were dragging on the road. List goes on an on.

barry sI opted for the online check-in to save time, but the process ended up taking nearly 30 minutes to complete. Unfortunately, that delay cut significantly into my 4-hour rental period. Additionally, the vehicle’s cab was not clean, with food left on the floor, which was disappointing. The office itself was difficult to locate due to inadequate signage. Returning the vehicle was equally frustrating, as the process was just as time-consuming and unclear. Furthermore, I was shocked by the final cost. What was advertised as a $19.95 rental ended up totaling $102 after factoring in miles, fuel, and additional fees. I was never informed during the reservation process that I would be charged for fuel, which felt misleading. I would appreciate it if you could review my experience and provide clarification on your pricing and rental procedures. Transparency and a smoother rental process would greatly improve the customer experience. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

ROBERT LLocal office is great. National office is the worst credit card nightmare. I reserved a 15' truck for 2 days. I used one day. I was told I would be charged for only what I used. Instead, I my credit card was charged for 2 days instead of 1 day. I was then told I would receive an email and a phone call informing me of the refund for the 1 day not used. Email and phone call never came. When I went by the local office they assured me I would receive a call regarding the refund from some national office and the local office cannot correct the charge. I looked at my Visa account at my bank and saw yet another additional, duplicated charge for 2 days! It is bad enough that I have not received a refund for the day I did not use but the duplicated charge instead of a refund is very frustrating. I don't have time for this during our house move. I am going to call the bank to dispute both charges and ask them to cancel both charges until this mess is straight. Hire someone that can correctly run the software at the national level.

But here I knew that I was cared for and cared about. a gentleman in charge. was there for me in every way, shape and form. I was the best experience I ever had. with U haul. And I've had a lot of experience with U haul They were all good. This was the best. I will do all my business from this location from now on.

EDWARD GNot a location item but over all I am disappointed in U hauls policy on fuel. I was given a truck for a trip from Orlando to Tampa that only had 3/8 of a tank of fuel, and uhauls guess on miles. I was three miles over and charge $3.00 extra but was given no credit for returning the truck with more fuel returned with half a tank (I have pictures. The returning location showed less. I feel like uhaul is scamming customers on a large scale in this matter and has caused me stress thinking about all the people that have done the same.
JAMES HFirst, the online checkout using the app takes too much time because the app is very slow and the number of pictures that have to be taken and uploaded is too high. Second, the dolly I ordered with the truck was missing. Lastly, the check engine light was on and stayed that way throughout the rental period

Nor did they have any replacement trucks so they said, even though I made reservations five days prior to pickup. and, there was six trucks sitting on the lot. I ended up going fifteen miles or more out of the way to pickup a truck from another location. Because of this I ended up paying a lot more than planned for the the truck because of the extra miles I had to drive after picking up the truck and the return trip back to the business.
