Jessica RThe challenge with the experience wasn't the pick up OR drop off points. The problem was I called a local UHaul dealer to rent a 6x12 enclosed trailer for one way trip from Montgomery to Nashville. I was told the only 6x12 available in the area was to be picked up at Pike Road. I called Pike Road the morning BEFORE pick up and was told they didn't have any 6x12's but they MIGHT have one turned in that afternoon. When I call that afternoon they indicated they had one.. "BUT IT IS BEING PICKED UP TODAY AT 4:00! The local said I should call the 800 number. I did, and although pleasant the customer service person couldn't explain why I had recieved a confirmation of a reservation that didn't exist? I was sent to the TRAFFIC handler who went through a list of UHAUL locations (most of which were an hour or more from Montgomery) that might have 6x12's. I finally reserved a trailer in TROY, AL that opened at 8:30 which gave me enough time to travel down there and back in order to meet the movers I HAD ALREADY ENGAGED FOR 10:30 to load the trailer. By NOT having the trailer available when I had reserved it on line the experience was awful. It added two hours to my morning. I don't understand how you can confirm a reservation for a trailer that isn't available. If I had not called ahead the whole day would have been a disaster!

Mary RThe door was falling off the unit that we received, there is no way they checked it and thought it should be rented out again. It was held on by one rivet. Also, one of the running lights was out. All of this after waiting for someone to get there more than 30 minutes after our contracted pickup time.

William RI was having car trouble on my way back home from Lake Buena Vista Florida. I was traveling with my son. I stopped at the Troy Climate Annex location. Although Ms. Sharon first said she did not have availability, she rearranged some things and got Wade and me on the road with a truck and car hauler for our 5 hour trip back to Starkville. Ms. Sharon went out of her way to help. I truly appreciate Ms. Sharon’s help.

Helen ROnly issue I have with this location is that 105 S Pecan St is not actually the address of the UHaul office. It is an unmanned lot where rental trailers are picked up and returned. The actual office where rental trucks "should be" returned is located on another street about a block away. Didn't realize all this until I was looking for a drop box to return my keys at 105 S Pecan St - no drop box exists at that location. Frustrating experience, but once we found the actual office the staff was quite helpful.

Elizabeth JThe location drop off is NOT the location for returning the key. They need to put a sign directing people to the key drop off lock box, because it is in an ENTIRELY DIFFERENT STREET AND BUILDING!
JOY HCustomer service did not leave desk when I turned in the truck and then sent me a bill for additional mileage after the fact. Could have at least reviewed the odometer and warned us about additional mileage charge particularly since it likely stemmed from the fact that we had to go to a different location than the one that we had our reservation at.

Kimberly MUHaul employee was helpful, before the store opened and took care of my check in. The app needs some help. This is the 2nd time I've tried to use mobile check in and the app glitches when I try to add a photo of the mileage and gas.

Shanna VAlso need , someone to help with cargo trailer. I, being a woman, was very difficult to disconnect my cargo trailer and park. Women working, help with paper work. No men available.
Joy LYou can improve your Troy location by improving the attitudes of the employers. Make sure they know without a shadow of dout that the equipment is in good working order. Our very first trip cost us $619.00 The car hauler tire on right side was not the right tire for that size hauler. Troy would not make it good. Still have not received any money back. We called Uhaul by # on contract, sayed on phone for 30 minutes. Noone ever answered the phone. Troy said we may have to sit by road 2 to 3 hrs. When a mover rents a Uhaul it should be in working condition. Very upset over the way things were handled. You need o have more friendlier employees in Troy location on 231. Will not be going back.
MARK JThey did not know where their equipment was. Sent us looking for trailer 3 times before we found one they really had. They did not help us hook up or do ant kind if check.
Gina MI dropped off on a Sunday so they were closed. I had called Saturday and the lady on the phone was very helpful and friendly. Told me how to drop off and where. Thanks friendly lasy!
