Hi there, I rented u haul from location Blue carwash(1761 Pembina highway). I book trolly and I didn't get it with uhaul. Also when I came to return uhaul and when I was trying to park uhaul it was stuck in parking lot because snow was not cleared. I have took pictures of this situation. We requested to cashier and he tried to remove it and made it worst. I have been charged with extra $100 as a cleaning charge. How come customer is responsible when you don't clear snow from your parking and uhaul gets stuck in snow. Very disappointed and not happy with the service. PLEADE REFUND ME MY $100.Jaymin P.

We had to move 2 trailers out of the way ourselves to get to the one we rented. And we had to dig it out of 2 feet of snow. It hasn't snowed in weeks and we rented it several days prior so there was no excuse not to have it ready.Melanie S.
Truck had a mechanical issue. It RPM's increased upon breaking, and bounced forward. We were told it should not happen once the engine warmed up. But this was not the case . This issue happened after the truck had been running for over an hour on the highway. This issue needs to be fixed prior to it being rented again. Was very nerve racking to drive it. Truck was in the located parking lot was stuck in ice. So I called the guy who was working there that time. So helped me out to pull out the truck from ice. It consumed fuel and took around 20 min to get out from there. Tho I didn't take any picture of fuel level because I thought the guy he'll do something later on coz I was in hurry. But when I dropped the truck I asked about all those thing but they told me they cannot help me anything with that. It was not I expected from a good company. I ordered a 20 foot and got a 15 foot truck. Vehicle was damaged on the outside and wouldn't drive faster than 45km/h. The furniture dolly we ordered was not available. Location smelled so strongly of perfume that the taste stayed in my mouth all day. When dropping off the vehicle the guy asked â€œdid you gas it up?â€ As I handed him the keys. That was it. He said have a nice day. There was no walk around or receipt of payment. I left feeling as though I was ripped offLeona D.
The problem is the online check in takes far longer than going to the counter and the truck had an engine lite on that said the truck's air bag and stabilizer needed service. By the time I got into the truck I had all ready wasted a half an hour on check in and had no time to wait to swap out so I took it as is.jodie S.
I advised I was making a 3500 kilometre trip and wanted to have a spare tire as I was traveling through remote areas of Canada. I was told â€œwe don't do thatâ€. We did in fact have a flat tire 2/3 through our trip. Communication with haul was very difficult. Staff in Southern USA unable to locate help nearby. Very, very frustrating experience.Rosemarie D.
Absolutely horrible experience. As I received keys for unit. The unit had 3 feet of snow on it. Brushed it off myself. When pulling out of lot got stuck. The lot was not plowed. And for the charges on my card I got charged for a fuel surcharge when the truck was exactly at the point where I had left it was not impressed will be looking for accommodations to have this resolved. The truck was clean, in a good condition meachanicaly and very helpful for my move. I would just add winter tires. I spend about 2 hours being stuck in 2 inches of snow absolutely horrible tires. I would not recommend to rent this truck in winter or if you do make sure you have a 1 ton truck to pull it through 2 inches of snow, absolutely pathetic tires.Tomas R.
There was a lot that was wrong with this experience. Much of it can be attributed to poor weather (The item that I actually booked was not available because it was blocked by a stuck uhaul van. I certainly did not appreciate waiting for over 30 minutes while the attendant was on the phone taking care of a personal matter that could have been paused, or accomplished later on personal time. After waiting as long as I did, my transaction took about 2 minutes. Finally, I was charged a fuel charge despite the fact that I put more gas than I used back into the van during my rental.Tom B.

First of all, The server had problem Its acceptable. But the employee had no idea about key dropbox . my pick up time was 7:00pm. and i had to pick up the Uhaul van at 8:30pm. Even after that the employee was saying to drop the van within 1 hour otherwise they going to charge late fees. I don't know if that's a Uhaul terms and conditions or whatever. I never heard these before yesterday. Still I tried my best to move everything within an hour and drop that van on the Uhaul branch location and forwarded the key to the employee within 10:00pm. I was offended when another employee from the store called me on this morning at 8 and asking where is the key ? Why didn't you drop it off etc etc. And His behaviour was so freaking rude that this time i couldn't stay quiet. And he was being unprofessional cause he should have discussion with his employee first. Then he can have conversation with me if there's an issue. I am really offended with this service. Truck was covered in snow initially. Took the truck home to load things but the back wouldn't open. Took it back. The guy checked and replaced the truck as he wasnt able to open it as well. Furthermore, I was charged extra for the fuel even though I refueled it past the point I initially got it. Have picture proof of the meter as well. Poor service overall. This site helped out in an emergency when the original site booked did not fulfill its contract. That was appreciated but the tremendous mix up by the original UHAUL site caused us to lose valuable time and added a tremendous amount to our overall costs.donna J.
I was asked to return the truck with the half tank of gas that I started with. I estimated that I used 7 litres of fuel or $13 for the 22 km I drove. I was then charged another $25 for fuel. The tanks should be full to start to avoid any confusionDaniel D.

Truck which i get was really dirty from inside its smell really bad also truck is really not in good shape. Once I started driving i feel like driving old car with no safety at all. i am glad I didn't hit anybody or damage anything. Also i got overcharged for my rental. This location need some good truck. I chose 24 hour truck and go and I got to the location, logged into my account ready to go before our reservation at 7am and it said I had to wait till 8 am. I then called the customer service rep and she said this location did not set up the keys for my reservation so I had to come back in an hour. I never was notified that my reservation was not ready for the time it was booked. This made our moving very rushed, would never recommend this location.Bryn L.

We rent from U-haul all the time. Usually we use the Mcphilips U-haul. We are a new business. Costs as high as they we are trying to be mindful of the miles and gas so we are starting to use the community U-hauls. 1761 Pembina, we have been there a few times BUT on Oct 13th we were double charged. End of the day as per usual my employee puts in 20.00. This didn't move the gas gauge so he added another 15.00 in gas. No way he was putting in anymore because we only 38.1 miles. He brought this to the attention of the store clerk. The person told him not to worry about it. We showed our receipts as pre usual. I get the invoice and we were charge an extra 25.55 for no gas. I phoned to inquire why we were double charged and he had nothing to say except he entered everything into the system and that's what he was told to charge. I asked him how does he thinks 38.1 miles justifies $60.55 in gas. He told me he doesn't know fuel consumption. I told him we would not be back and I hung up. We are now going to our usual U-Haul place to see what they can do to get our money back for the extra fuel we paid.dave B.

Truck was ok but when we stopped to load and put the hazards on, the battery drained in about an hour. Called this location and someone said they would contact the manager. Called back an hour later and all they said was the battery was quite new and to boost the truck. Which we had already planned to do since it was obvious we were on our own. Managed to track down some booster cables and used our own vehicle to boost. Not a great experience.James S.

The vehicle inside the cab was dirty and should be cleaned between rentals, coffee all inside cup holders , sticky steering wheel I had to sanitize myself including door handles. Thick dust all over interior and an extremely dirty windshield. Returned truck and the employee had no licence to park it in their parking area after there walk around🥴I will not rent at this location or recommend it to anyone. Hello. I had confirmed online reservation for 9 ft cargo van the night before. I got there and they said they didn't have one. But that they could offer me a small truck at same price. However, I was now paying more per km, and gas would be more. They wouldn't match the per km cost or compensate for more gas, even though the mistake was on uhauls end. Kind of ridiculous. I phoned the 1 800 number following day and was reimbursed 50 dollars. I appreciate that, but when this location is in the wrong, and won't even resolve the costs they imposed on me, it creates a terrible customer experience. Sounds like the online booking and the actual location's operations are not in sync whatsoever.Joel D.
