The moving truck met my needs for a move. A issue came up after I dropped off the truck. When I dropped off the 20 foot moving truck yesterday one of the staff parked it and said all was good and was charged the additional cost for the mileage. About an hour later I received a call from the company (location of truck) asking me where the truck was as it was to be dropped off by 1:30. I explained that I already dropped off the truck and was charged the additional mileage fee. This was dropped off well before 1:30. The person on the phone said he now sees the truck and paperwork and said all was good. Then I saw another duplicate charge go through on my credit card. I called back twice to get the duplicate charge cancelled but no one answered. Gave up trying to get through yesterday as was busy dealing with my move. Will try again today. I suggest more care by staff to coordinate information on available equipment before bothering customers and not to double charge customers by again coordinating between staff.

GLEN KThe oil change soon message was on the dash when I picked up the vehicle and took a picture of that when I pulled out so it would be documented and noted and time of picture as I departed . The parking break was also on which was odd but figured that out soon when I started trying to move it and had to release it. It was parked next to a car in the lot which had its back door window smashed and glass all over the place and obvious it was broken into. Not sure if that was exactly a good impression of the overall impression of the location. It was a blue car there in the lot and when I returned four hours later the car was still sitting there and glass all other the parking lot where I was to park the cargo van.. The individual at the desk within the office who managed also the car wash was fine. He was polite attentive and courteous. No problems when the it came to ease of rental or customer service. Just suggesting the vehicles may need to be maintained accordingly and maybe security and management to observe the property and vehicles. If wouldn’t hurt also the person representing the U-Haul rental at that desk maybe just show the renter the location on the lot where the van is sitting. We wondered around a few rows looking for the match tag on our key chain to the vehicle.
Paula SGuy behind the desk when picking up was rude, took multiple phone calls while in the middle of processing me. I had requested a 20 foot truck and when arriving he tried putting me in a 15 foot truck without even telling me he switched it. When asked why he said “we don’t have a 20 foot truck available today I just keep them all available so people still come here”. The only reason I chose this location over other closer locations was the “availability” of this 20 foot truck. He also let multiple people cut in front while we were in the middle of processing. Did not go over the fees changing on Friday and Saturday compared to the rest of the week. When everything was finally processed he points in a general direction “your dolly is over there” and watches me walk out to go search for it. When returning I asked if we could do the walk through together as the lady working at this time said “just drop the keys”. When I asked if we could do the walk through together she acted like it was a huge inconvenience to go out to the truck and confirm it was brought back in the same shape that it left. The entire process was unprofessional and I will 100% not be recommending anyone to use Uhaul through this location.

RAKISH BThere was no signs to indicate where to rent the vehicle. The office in inside the car wash area, which was difficult to find. There were also no signs or direction on where to park your vehicle. The gas tank was not filled up and impossible to judge, so even though I put in $20 of gas into the vehicle, I was charged $16 for 1/16th of a tank. Overall not a great experience.

RATNASRI MThe gas tank wasn’t filled right up , I filled it up upon return & I was charged an extra $16.63 because the employee said it wasn’t full enough, when I filled it right to the top . Employee kept arguing, so I just paid it . Will definitely not recommend.

Andrew TVery bad experience overall. U-Haul first tried me to pick up a truck from Minnesota when I was living in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Received the U-Haul about 8 hours later than was told it would be available. Did not receive a call from anyone informing me that the truck was ready for pick up. Then was given the keys to a truck parked behind another van and trailer - was told I would have to wait for the renter of the van to arrive to be able to move it. Truck was completely filthy inside with mud and snow. Will not ever use U-Haul services again.
Andrew HMy credit card was used for another customer of yours. I was debited twice because of this carelessness. Now I feel my credit info isn’t save with you guys. I am still waiting for the hold on my card to be released
MOHAMED YThe lady when I pick up the vehicle has very bad attitude, questions was not answered due to language barrier, I was asking for a receipt for the purchase of the 4 Double sized mattress protector, she said she only have the pos receipt. When I returned the car, the guy was fine. Vehicle was really really dirty, previous customer must have shipped tones of garlic in the back, it was all over the place.

Jesse EThe mileage charge in the billing information was calculated incorrectly. The correct odometer reading at the start was 4,898 km, which I documented with a photo before starting the engine. However, the staff recorded it as 4,598 km and did not acknowledge the mistake. I submitted feedback through the U-Haul app on March 25th but had not received any response as of March 28th. The issue remains unresolved, making this a very disappointing experience for my first rental with U-Haul.

OLAMIDOTUN ARented a u-haul trailer from this location. Girl in the office had my reservation found and had me signed off and on my way fast. The property is definitely not setup for u-haul pick-ups or drop-offs with the parking lot design since the business operates with a car wash in the same building. I had to wait 25 minutes in the car wash line to gain access to the back of the compound to get my trailer. Trailer wasn’t oriented for easy hook up, I had to pick it up and swing it 180 degrees to hook up. Easy for myself, still a pain, but what if it was an older person or someone unable to lift a 6x12 double axle trailer. Trailer was dirty inside. Had to sweep it out with stiff broom as previous user had left mud inside. I then had to navigate back through the oncoming single lane lineup of people trying to get into the car wash. Took me 5-10 minutes of getting people to understand they need to move and make room as there is room for two lanes between the building and the parked u-haul trucks against the fence, but people are ignorant. Time to drop off the trailer. Again, forced to wait 30 minutes in line to drop it off in the back of the compound because nobody knows how to keep to one side of a parking lot lane. I get to the back and there’s barely enough room for a regular cab short box truck with a 6x12 box trailer and 4.5’ hitch to swing it around to back up into where the trailers are located because there’s 2 cars staggered waiting to get into the car wash ahead of me. BUT WAIT! It gets better… Remember how I mentioned “ignorant people” in my last paragraph, well they’ll be there to meet you at drop off as well as you try to back up and swing your trailer in, they’ll try and get in behind you as to line up for the damn car wash, full well seeing that YOU ARE TRYING TO BACK A TRAILER INTO THE ADJOINED COMPOUND. And then look at you like you’re in the wrong. Drop trailer off finally. Use the U-Haul app to notify drop off and condition. I’m now 30 minutes late passed my actual drop off time due to all the forced waiting. Time to now force people to move over, as they take up all the room waiting in line for the car wash so you can actually leave and go about your day. When I was picking up, another guy was having the exact same issues I mentioned above as he tried dropping off a car trailer and agreed it’s a bit ridiculous. My suggestion to the business if they plan to keep having a u-haul distribution here, is have people come in for the car wash around the back of the building or run the entrance/ exit the other way around. Would make way more sense.
EVAN BTruck had a check engine light on. I was advised this is nothing to worry about, but I still think equipment should be in a good condition when rented. All furniture pads were dirty. I paid for a dozen, but got only 6. I had to go back and forth several time through a car wash. Although one good thing the staff was helpful.

VIET TI just want to ask you please recalculate the kms that I drove and he charged me 6L of fuel even though I did top-up of $5 fuel. It’s just 6-7 kms I drove within 2 streets and i got charged for $43. Very very disappointed with the charges and service
MALAV SThe rented vehicle should be parked on different side from the car wash parking so people can easily get it outside and again park it. Because when there’s a line for car wash it’s difficult to bring out the vehicle. Other than that everything was good.
JUJHAR SIt was very smelly inside, I didn’t check it before I took from there, but when I got home opened cargo door, it was smelling so bad and very wet inside, I had to put some cloth on floor then put my my stuff. I have been using u haul for so long and this is the first time I had this kind of experience. Hope they will check it before they give it away to customers.
SHEIKH SWhen we picked up the truck, the gas tank was partialy full and the person who helped us wrote down how much fuel was in the truck on our paper. However, when my husband re-fueled the truck and brought it back, a different person at the desk didn't believe him and said he didn't fill it enough. Communication around re-fueling the van needs to improve, as does trust in the customer. Before we rented the truck, I was told it would be full. Other than that issue, renting the truck went smoothly.

SEAN RGas line was severed and unable to fill up to 1/4 tank so they tried to charge an extra $30 refill fee. Talked to them and they accepted to not charge the fee since it’s clear it cannot be filled. Now have been charged for the fee 2x instead of one charge one refund.

OLAMIDOTUN AThe Uhaul was dirty outside but that is fine by me. The issue was I booked at the Waverly location. They didn’t have the 15 ft uhaul and I had to the blue car wash. This resulted in a higher charge for me in mileage as it was further from my move. I didn’t receive the $50 reservation guarantee as advertised.
JASON BMy original uhaul truck broke down before I could even move with it. It had electrical issues and a fuel pump problem. Uhaul straight up lied on return about gas tank of truck being at quarter tank when it was full. Upon getting the replacent truck at a different location I was informed that uhauls partners don't inspect their uhauls mechanically and thus they're more likely to break down than from a uhaul main outlet. Roadside asistance and customer service are both decently unorganized when it comes to miscommunication, shift changes and deadlines regarding time lines to contact people. With that being said, uhaul did cover my hotel when truck broke down until morning and gave me $600 for transferring over my stuff to a new truck. They also agreed to pay the difference in gas upon return given a receipt is provided.
LYNNE HEverything was mostly perfect. There was no Utility Dolly for us, still got charged for it tho and given a tiny dolly instead. The mats were mostly all soaking wet too

OLAMIDOTUN AHaving to back out of a long parking lot and navigating a car wash along with a giant moving truck was unnecessary. Little extras like having the vehicle warmed or parked the right way for easy exit goes a long way when it comes to service. Otherwise the service was knowledgeable and efficient. Well done.

Again, not a huge deal just one of those little details that was missed. Service was friendly and quick which I appreciated.

Juan GThe windshield and side windows were extremely dirty both inside and out. I spent 15 minutes washing it before going on the highway. The exterior of the van was not clean on pickup, though that did not impact my use at all. The staff at the rental location were friendly.
ANDREW TI booked with another location then U haul moved my pick up location 35 kilometres away from the original pick up location adding to increased milage. The new location was a dump with an old bed mattress laying under the truck and surrounded by more broken furniture laying around the yard and the 26 ft truck I picked up the engine light was on and it was filthy inside

ELIZABETH MHere’s how to be better! The gas tank should be full for easy refill, instead of having a slightly above half tank that’s hard to fill correct. Which you do so people overfill or under fill to charge fees and get extra gas on the customers dime. Was forced to bring back to the same location which I moved an hour away. There was a U-HAUL location in my new city. But makes sense as you get more money. They took out a 2nd charge on my card at 11:00, 4 hours before I brought the truck back. Which I was overcharged and was told I can’t be refunded MY money. Will not ever use that location again.
