I was told That I had a reservation in norfolk & I get there & no truck called fispatch & he told me he was only charging for truck since we had to travel 60 miles out of the way then I get charged $179 so pretty upset never had a problem with u haul before but now I do I talked to dispatcher Mike & I had it on speaker so others heard no charge on mileage

DANIEL MNobody came out when we showed up to drop it off. I tried to use the QR code to do an online return, but it wanted me to download the app. There was an option to do the return on the website, but I couldn't find it anywhere. We dropped the trailer off later on Saturday, the day we picked it up, and heard nothing about it until Monday morning when I got an email asking about returning it, which means nobody bothered checking their inventory to see if it had been returned. I filled out the return info online from work & everything was fine. If nobody is going to come out to meet the customer for pick up or drop off, which has a scheduled time, then the automated process should be a lot easier. You can have a QR code at the location to start the check in or check out process & a code on each rental specific to that rental to check it out or return it, & an e-sign to confirm. You can even request specific pictures of the rental to upload at either or both points (check in & check out).
