U-haul changed the time and location of my pick up the day before pick up. This added 20 mins to my commute time. For the inconvenience I was told I was would be credited $50.00. I never received that reimbursement. Then the location manager called me and change my pick and drop off time again because they didn't have enough trucks. I've use U-haul in the past and they've been fairly good but this experience was really bad.

U-haul traffic centre operators need to focus on having equipment moved to a customers desired pickup location if possible. I originally asked for pickup of truck and trailer from the Calgary Blackfoot location. U-haul traffic sent me a notification that i needed to drive to Brooks,AB to pickup the trailer! That’s a 1 1/2 hr drive from Calgary.

I would like to comment on the knowledgeable & friendly employees at this location. The young lady that helped us get signed in was super awesome and pleasant to deal with. She explained everything very CLEARLY. She got us all set up in a very timely matter. We were in and out in a Jiffy. The man that got us in the truck and on our way was very friendly, he helped through the "photo process" as well as took his own to ensure we would not have any discrepancies over any damages upon returning. Upon returning the truck, the young man was very considerate and friendly. Super easy going process with him & returning the vehicle. I give this locations staff today (Sunday January 19th 2020) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The 3 members we saw/dealt with were amazing. Thank you for allowing us to rent your truck hassle free! You did a wonderful job.

Equipment falling apart, almost causing an accident. No maintenance on it. Horrible customer service. Waited on highway 6 hours, just to have a trailer full of goods to be returned back to starting point, just because service manager (Sam) was trying to save few $. Will never recommend or use your company ever again.

I originally reserved a cargo trailer a month prior to pick up. When I went to pick it up at location 154th st Edmonton(where it was reserved) it was not available, I was not given any help at all to solve my dilemma for moving to Kamloops, I called head office, and was informed that the trailer was there at that location, and to go pick it up. I went back and it was there with a flat tire, staff not getting it fixed and didn't take it off their computer as not rentable. I was offered a 5x8 open trailer with no tarps to cover furniture, but was not allowed to drop in BC(what good was that), the staff told me they checked all over Edmonton and nothing available. The staff were rude and ignorant, even told me that they only get 14.00/hr, not enough to solve problems (WHAT??). They sent us on our way to solve ourselves...I called head Office again, this time very helpful. they found me a trailer 15minutes from the original location on 50th St, The girls there were amazing, they couldn't believe what I was put thru from the 154th st location, and the trailers were available the other location couldn't be bothered to check. The ladies, couldn't do enough for me....Thank you. UHaul, this is a franchise, shouldn't all your locations be courteous to all your customers? This experience left a sour taste in my mouth, and and guess what no discount either for my stress. This review is for the location on 154th Street in EDMONTON ALBERTA

Check for broken wires at the plug, hard to see even harder to check unless connected to a battery. Third trailer worked fine but showed signs of the same issue happening.

This was the location that i finally ended up at. The location that i was supposed to drop off, was Lucky Food Store at 12939-97 street. I had to park a block away because there is no parking for a uhaul vehicle. And the lady at the counter, would not take the keys. She said just go down the street to the above location, which is 50 blocks away or I would be charged. It was not just DOWN the block. The final drop off place was good and knew their business. If your going to have people such as Lucky Food Store run your business, you should know what is going on. I would never deal with them EVER again or recommend them to anyone. It is too bad this is what leaves a very poor impression of your company with customers. Regards. Regards.

The trailer brakes locked up on me when I stopped for gas. Called roadside assistance who tried to contact someone to come help. Everyone said they were either too far to come help or just did not answer the phone. So I bled the brake line and had to drive with no trailer brakes for the remaining 4 hours of my drive from Clearwater BC to Aldergrove BC. Not fun at all. I made the decision to do this because the day I had booked the trailer for had already been pushed by uhaul so I was a day behind already and had a family emergency to get to. Will not use Uhaul ever again. Dirty and poorly maintained trailers are over priced for the issues involved.

Sharks. They don’t tell you about the 100000 hidden charges they add on. Delivery would’ve costed me 80 bucks but this costed over 100. Trash customer service and they take convenience fees anywhere they can. Stay away from this company. Make sure if you do rent from them to return it BEFORE they close and not to do the after hours return so you can SEE what they’re going to charge you and make sure it’s all correct.

Finding a rental was a nightmare ... I sujest doing it online ... staff was gruff but returning it was a breeze got a solid guy called john suggested cleaning the van dirt/dust out ourselves a little better to make sure we didnt get charged more ... beware the per km prices add up rediculzly quickly

Always pick my Uhaul up at this location, best service. However, showed up at 9:50am last Saturday to pick up my 10am cargo van booking, and did not leave with it until about 10:30-10:40am. Could use more staff on the Saturday morning as it was busy and slow-going.

When one books a rental on line and specifically requests a time frame, the time frame should be accommodated. I was contacted 5 days before the rental day and was told I had to choose a time of either 7am to 1pm or 1pm to 7pm. I chose 7am to 1pm. I ended up bringing the rental back later then I should have. During the checkout process I was told my charge would for a two day rental due to the rental being returned 2 hours late. I advised the agent I would NOT be paying the extra fees as I wasn't told if the rental was brought back late I would be charged more. Kudos goes out to the guy who checked me out, and took my shitty behaviour so calmly, shout out to him. Let's not forget about the check in agent, horrible customer service. He should have stated if the rental wasn't returned on time, there would be additional charges.

Your app is too complicated, the trailer was not cleaned, the staff were excellent, and the value for price paid was excellent.

John was absolutely awesome and the cashier was VERY helpful and accommodating. However, UHaul is a HORRIBLE business as a whole. This is the third time in a row that I have had a problem with reserving a truck. All three times I was told late that the reserved truck was no longer available. Their online booking is unreliable and does not reflect their stores availability at all. I was also involved in a winter move and was given a 26’ truck with bald tires and they would not pay for the tow after getting stuck in only 8” of snow. The company couldn’t care less about the condition of a vehicle or how it inconveniences you. The stores do their best to put out fires the head company always causes.

I dropped it off at a lucky foods store and the experience was absolutely horrible. The guy claimed he couldn’t take the truck cause he didn’t have parking which isn’t my fault. U-Haul told me where to bring it. I brought it early, gased up, clean , etc. Drop off took an hour then I just left cause he couldn’t get it dealt with. Told him to call me once he figured it out.
