Highlights were that the staff were very friendly and the truck functioned mechanically well. The disappointing aspects were that the moving blankets and dolly that had been requested at time of booking were not available at time of pick up. The exterior of the truck was filthy, although the interior was clean. The driver's door was in desperate need of adjustment so it could close fully.

I took the truck, fuelled it and within 30 minutes its broke down, actually not starting. Called the agency for a replacement truck, they said they dont know what to do and asked me to contact roadside assistance. When i called them they they are dispatching someone in 30 minutes which is not happened. Finally contacting them for 3 or 4 times we gor the mechanic and he tried for almost 1 hour to it going. So we were later for almost 4 hours which is tooooo much who hired the truck from a trustworty company. Very sorry to say.. Really disappointed from this experience.

Very slow pick up process for my reservation, Covid complicates things, but only 1 person at the tills so had over a dozen groups in line. I would have more people first thing in the am when everyone shows up to pickup their rentals. GREAT return though as the guy doing returns was really friendly and fast.

When I arrived, the agent had just given the truck I was assigned to another person. It made the digital check in a mess - wrong truck, wrong mileage, didn't get the blankets I'd booked. Also, I booked the truck for 24 hours. When I arrived at 6 pm, the agent said, “we don't loan trucks for 24 hours at this location, you need to have it back by 7 am.” This was a problem because all my moving helpers were coming in the morning. It turns out the system allowed me to have the truck for 24 hours, but I didn't appreciate the panic she created for me.

Location was great. Ordering for pickup was absolutely horrible. They canceled on me and when I called back for confirmation and book trailer a second time, it was canceled again. I called a third time to book and was told they didn't have a trailer available.

Punter lady was excellent. All 48 bins I rent weed where filthy and covered in labels and tape. Spilt fluids,hair,garbage and other garbage in every bin. Spent a day cleaning the bins before we could even pack.

I am disappointed, for the money spent.. I reserved a dolly and there weren't any, but the worst part is the cab of the truck was disgusting, filthy dirty . Used masks under seat, old food on the floor. We had to request gloves and disinfecting wipes to clean the steering wheel and handles.. the wipes were almost black after wiping. It's covid 19 now a days and stressful enough moving, not to have to be worried about filth and safety. The last complaint is, the gas was on 1/4 full so the next worry was finding a gas station right away. The only positive part were the staff and that they were friendly

I picked up my rental truck from sihem market in Edmonton but they did not have the dollies I had requested. I had ordered two utility and one furniture one. Then they recommended that I go to this location on 50th St. to rent the dollies I needed. However 50th St. only had appliance dollies. Overall my experience was exasperating although the employees were helpful and sympathetic. Also the person at sihem market did not go over my truck rental agreement details but just gave me the keys. Additionally they gave me two keys but only one of them worked. When I explained this to them they had no idea where the other key was from.

Actually have the reserved equipment available. The app does not work for self dispatch - very disappointing. Truck assigned to me not found in lot - I was sent walking around rubber building numerous times 5hen eventually given a new contract with different unit. No dollies or carts available, for which location took no responsibility. Was told general manager would contact me, yet still nothing. Very disappointed. Terrible experience. Too many words for a single future Twitter post.

The gas gauge did not work and showed empty, I was really worried that travelling the Anthony henday that we would run out of gas. When I picked up the truck I had prebooked 2 dolly's 2 box wheelers and 10 cloths but they only had 1 box wheelers and said the other stuff wasn't returned, why do you have prebook unless you know it is available. They were able to rent me one utility dolly.

they charge me for roof damage but when i take rental pick up i check the pictures and compare but the damage they charge me on the roof scratches that you cant even see if you just take a look i dont like it at all the way they do like when you pick up you do inspection by yourself and i am not perfect in inspections if i miss some scratch or damage then they take advantage charge the customer and make money and when you return they do brief inspection I will tell everybody even on social media about this scam of u hual rental on 50 street dont recommended at all and not coming anymore to uhaul

There was a line up of roughly 30 people at any given moment, with minimal staff working. Everyones pickup time was for 9am, I was there in line, 8th person, and I didnt get my truck until 10am. Then they were allowing people to cut infront of the others, because they had made an online reservation, which we all had. A disagreement with the Uhaul representatives then occurred, between myself, and other parties in line, as this wasnt at all fair. I would suggest that you have someone help people who need boxes seperately from people who have booked vehicles, to use time effectively. I would also suggest, that someone if possible walk the line and check people in fully with a tablet, and then the only requirement to be inside the building would be for payment, but even that is possible with a wireless system. Better yet, would be a kiosk system for people who have booked online to go and complete what they require and have the key drop, or a door open like a phone charging port at a mall, to save time. Uhaul seems to be stuck in the past, and it actively shows where the disconnect is.

Booked at a specific location cause wanted rental for 11:00am. Tried calling that location 2 days prior, no answer. Drove to location and they verified that rental was good. On rental date, arrived to pick up and was told nope, had to go elsewhere to get and time had been moved to 1:00pm. Very poor system regarding notifying clients of changes. Moving is stressful enough. On the positive, John Bellamy was awesome, super friendly and very helpful.

I was instructed to go to this location after getting a phone call from the original location as the unit I needed was not available Upon arriving at this location, I went through the procedure, set up etc, went to locate the vehicle and found out I was given the wrong unit, went back in side, stood in line for another 20 minutes, also, this location was inconvenient for me, so that was another 20 minutes out of the way, now the search was on for another unit -- 20 minutes later a unit was located -- I wasted nearly an hour and a 1/2 getting set up -- no argument with the gal that set me up other than she should have noted the reservation. I would still recommend this location but would suggest to anyone to do a follow up before going out to the original reservation location.
