I had a really bad experience today , I was scheduled for a pick up at a local location at 1:30 pm I arrived at the location only to find out no vehicle had been assigned to my reservation. After 45 mins on the phone I was assigned a different location and had to walk all the way back home then drive to this location where it took about another 30 mins this set my moving time back 2 hours when I had people waiting on me to move my stuff . Moving is a time sensitive situation as you know and I’m really upset at the stress this caused me today .

When you pay for a service, you should not have to do so much work yourself. Taking SO MANY pictures in the cold, filling out electronic documents, going back and forth to the truck, etc. VERY DISAPPOINTING ! Personnel very pleasant though. Next time I will try to find a rental agency that requires me to do less physical work.

Uhaul switched my reservation to this location. Had to walk too far to the trucks. Then, the truck had no passenger side mirror. Ended up being given a smaller truck because of availability.

Online reservation was incorrect. I reserved a 6x12 closed trailer. Website sent me to this location but there wasn't a 6x12 trailer here or nearby. Manager of this location was very helpful in getting me into a rental that worked for me

I had a little trouble returning the truck oafter hours online but the customer service was so nice and patience with me. She walked me through it and for that I am grateful.

One of Your customer service employee was horrible, part of customer service is making eye contact not on Facebook on your personal phone. Your application for taking pictures that's not what I paid your company for. I paid to use a vehicle not inspect it. I can see if I was asked to inspect the condition of the vehicle before I left the uhaul facility but for the customer to do it when returning it, that's not my job. If this is what you ask from you customers then you should atleast give them some of their money back.

Put your phone down and end your call before assisting a customer. Who ever helped me when I picked up the truck was more focused on continuing their FaceTime call than helping me. The process didn't take long but seemed to take longer than necessary because of this very rude interruption.

Please sweep out the truck prior to renting it out. There were roaches in the truck. I needed to rent a truck again but I decided to select another location. New renters should be provided with a more welcoming experience. Staff members appeared as if they didnt want to be there. The only positive part about my experience was the guy moving the trucks when you drop them off. He was very helpful. He said he used to work at the NJ location and he wasn't too familiar with the mobile return process but he still assisted me. He was kind, patient and the only employee who seemed to care about the customer experience.

This location is the worst compare to 12th and Washington avenue and 8east Oregon avenue. Customer service was like follow your text message. Follow the link. While the other location was happy to help with any question.

Extremely poor customer service. Had trouble starting truck. Equipment return link was broke. Was charged for a utility dolly (that wasn’t even in truck) because the return process is not clear and the employee did not offer any help at all. When we asked him about the extra charge he said that we “must’ve hit something by accident “ and there was nothing he could do about it.

Excellent equipment. Very sturdy yet easy to pull. I didn’t use the car trailer after all; I decided against buying the intended truck. But the cost to rent the trailer was well worth the effort. Hi I'm don't understand if I register online with all my information why I have to wait in line for 25 minutes to answer the same questions. It would also be great if the employees would direct us (customer)to the vehicle rented instead of giving you the key to find the vehicle in their nventory outside. I've rented from this location many times with no problems but this last visit the service wasn't good.

It would be nice if the location could have the equipment on hand that was reserved, or at least contact the customer ahead of time to be able to plan for adjustments. I arrived and the 17' truck that I reserved was not available. I was told that the truck was never returned the night before, but I was not contacted about it. Another person came in after me that had reserved the same size truck, so clearly the problem was not just related to the ONE truck not being returned the night before. My first choice was to upgrade to the 20' truck but was told I would need to pay for the upgrade even though the truck I actually reserved was not available and the 15' truck would not be big enough. I ultimately decided on the 15' truck and was given one that had less than 1/4 tank gas so there was a discount on the fuel but the system did not calculate the discount (it was shown on the invoice, but the math was simply wrong) and it took a lot of discussion for the people at the desk helping me to understand the issue and give me the correct price. I also think that the "self-checkout" process is extremely inefficient and there should be an option for in-person checkout since the employee essentially stands next to you and tells you the buttons to press on your phone anyway. Just let me walk inside to check out instead.

This has been the worst experience of my life every single time I come into U-Haul the staff doesn’t understand and don’t explain things very clear to the customer they always charge the customer additional money when they return the truck and it’s been a pattern over the last five times the staff that works at the location at 20th and Oregon are very unprofessional I will never ever recommend this location to anybody in my family They’re always trying to add additional funds when you return the truck they tried to charge me an additional $350 today after arguing with them they lowered it back down to the normal rate of $106 this is an ongoing thing I suggest you guys straighten this out among the people who work at U-Haul very unprofessional

Waited over an hour in line just to get processed ... then I rented a storage which has a column in it and I’m paying the same price for the ones that don’t have a column in them ... they told me that was the only one they lied there was another one available but if I wanted to change mine I would have to pay an extra month rent .... very unsatisfied with the service at Quartermaster Plaza

My return was setup to be at location close to my new home. I arrived and was told “no space” at the location I had signed up for. The Honda Navigation took me to gates...no signage anywhere. Eventually I found the office. The young man Andrew Yogboh was very nice . I had to return the blankets the next day because the unpacking was extensive and I could not leave the trailer on my apartment complex loading dock. I arrived at the gate and a line of U-Haul trucks formed a barrier. I started to carry the 20 remaining blankets by hand the half mile to the store but exhausted, turned around. I spent half an hour driving around to find the other entrance. I was told they cordoned off that access for some event. I will do anything possible to avoid using, or my friends and family using U-Haul in the future If you allow a client to think they can drop off the U-Haul at a location, it should be YOUR responsibility to relocate the unit

Only problem is the app system. Not sure why staff is even necessary if customers have to do everything from the inspection to the drop off. It would make me feel better if someone on site was present during inspections instead of pictures for the customer’s sake.

My pick up process was very strong out. The initial truck I was given was parked around back, I had to wait for it to be brought around. However there were others out front. It had incorrect gas & mileage recorded & I was unable to make corrections using the online tool. I had to go back to customer service and explain what was going on. It took another 20min for them to issue me another truck which was recorded as having 2 miles under what was on the truck. I am 9mths pregnant and was working against the clock. The set backs i went thru added to my stress.

Improve your online 24/7 share. I had a bad experience with the website. Not letting me upload a copy of my drivers licences or anything. I had to cancel my online reservation and go into a actual uhale site with individuals working behind the desk. They help me and got me into the rental i requested..

I got my truck and had to put gas in it automatically because it was empty. The app froze every time i used it and made me start over each time. The workers act like they didn't know anything. Let alone help you with the app. This was the worse first time experience ever!!

Picked up the cargo van. Told me they were giving me a $14.88 credit for gas, because the tank was low. Low isn't the right word, empty was more like it, turned the car on and it said 6 miles until empty. Low tire gauge was also lit, and there was spray paint on the driver's side of the front window. I was on a time limit, so I just took it and drove to get gas. But it was the worst experience I've had with uhaul.

When I picked up the truck the attendant told me I could drop the truck off at any u-Haul location. When I called the location I wanted to drop it off at I was told I had to take it to the location on my contract. It was all the way across town and I took it anyways. When I got it to that location the attendant refused to take my truck stating that he had no room at all. He sent me to another location. I got to that location and they tried to refuse my truck. At this point I said I am leaving the truck here. I told the person there to call corporate and figure it out. I had to pay for the extra miles from driving the truck all over the place. You need to streamline your policies and train everyone that works for you so that they are not giving conflicting information. This was a waste of my time and money. I was frustrated beyond measure. It was very unprofessional!

The trailer hitch broke while we were returning the trailer. We were driving on I76 in Ohilky and the trailer came loose and started swerving everywhere. We had to stop traffic and my son and I had to reset the trailerZ the tension screw for the ball hitch had snapped off. No clue how or why but it clearly was not in good maintenance. We were able to get at the trailer back to the return location with no additional damage

The New process of getting a text didnt work and was fustrating when I had to check out. The customer is responsible for way to much input and will create a negative impact on them. The employees were great the process not so much.

there is a disconnect between 1-800 u-haul and the actual store. the call in line is misinformed as to actual store policy. Also, the rental experience was not "user Friendly". The personal people to people service is replaced with a cold online app that is hard to navigate.

clean, nicely maintained. handy keypad access and ability to drive in and unload. one quibble: u-haul needs to tell customers making a reservation that a particular u-haul lock is mandatory.
