Vehicle needed service. Warning lights were distracting. Side door would not open from outside. Body damage was extensive. Otherwise, it did the job. Thanks again, Uhaul!

Bad service. Liar cause said no 15" size truck and gave me 26" size, when I go check out I saw the 15" was seat in the back. The tire got flat on rear side. Try to notify with so rude to rent truck w/ only 6 hours if not I will not give u the truck. So not professional cause only the manger can handle situations about available truck. Other employees just sat down cause they do not know what to do. I'm so mad and I will not COME INTO THIS PLACE ANYMORE...AT ALLLLL.....

Reservation was for 9AM, but had to wait an hour and didn't get the truck until 10AM, because the key for the truck was broken and a new one had to be made. The new key started the vehicle, but did not work on the doors, so the doors had to remain locked. The windshield wipers did not initially work and it was raining, then the worked for awhile and then they stopped working. Reported the problem with the key and windshield wipers when truck was returned to U-Haul in Gaithersburg, MD.

They couldn't find the keys. Got my reservation 30 minutes late because of it, then was charged extra for returning it late. Wouldn't have been late returning if they were prepared with my reservation.

The agent (a woman) was very rude when she called and left a msg in the morning about my late pickup of a vehicle which she failed to check that was fully PAID prior to her calling. Upon my arrival to the location when I pickup the vehicle, she appeared to still be very confused about the reservation, insisting that the drop off was not the one which my email verification showed (and which she refused to review via my email I was trying to show her via my phone). She kept questioning and CHALLENGING me on my dropoff to Media, Pa, which after 10 min of this challenge, she finally had to admit DID SHOW MEDIA, PA and not a Philadelphia one. She never apologized for arguing and insisting that I had the wrong drop off location when in actuality, she just did not know what she was doing or how to find the appropriate information. She completely wasted my time and the time of other customer behind me due to this action and refusal to accept the information I provided. Which leads me to ask now, what is the point of setting up online in fthe store agents cannot follow instructions or locate information on Uhauls own mainframe or computer servers? Additionally, I had to remind her that I had paid for an appliance dolly. Afterwhich, she told me I was bring the vehicle (with no clear direction from her as to its actual location) to the door of the reception area to pick up the dolly. I found that I had to walk very far behind the building with no clear direction as to where the vehicle was located. I eventually found it to be hidden behind a couple of tractor beds along side another uhaul truck. I kept waling hoping to find it so that I would not have to go back to that agent to encounter her again. At which point, upon my entry upon the vehicle, I found (no such luck) that the agent had set up the contract for a half a tank of gas although the gase gauge (upon my arrival at the vehicle) showed less that half a tank available. So I then moved the vehicle around to not only pick up the dolly but to also have this corrected on the contract. She was even further rude and abrupt, when exchanging the contract, after which I attempted to then back the truck out with great difficulty because I did not know/could not see that there was only one way in and out, so I had to back up the 15 ft . After some difficulty, AND ONLY THEN, did she decide to at least come out and help me back out, finally taking truck and backing it out after rudely accusing me almost hitting vehicles. You will find in my history with Uhaul - and my driving record - that I have NEVER had any such incident with this truck or cars, for that matter. This agent made my experience at this location and with Uhaul HORRENDOUS. I would never send anyone to this location with her (this agent) at the helm. She is a horrible customer service agent, where she appears to think that exchanging pleasantries and calling everyone she meets as "baby" and then not following through w

The representative that handled my reservation was very inexperienced. The keys to the truck were basically thrown at us and were sent on a search to find the truck which was around the building. usually, when we have rented a U-Haul truck, the truck is ready for us to get in after the rep. does a walk through with us to show the state of the truck. this was not the case at this location. When asking the rep. questions regarding the policy of renting and returning, she knew none of the answers.

You have great people working there - both in the sign-out and check-in process. The on-line equipment return process is terrible, however. I came in around 4:30, so needed to use the online process. I entered the odometer & gas reading, answered all your questions, took pictures of the gas gauge, interior of cabin, interior of truck, and the parking location. After that, when I hit "save" on that last photo, I got kicked out and brought back to the sign-in page. I signed in. Repeated all of the above steps, but only made it to the step where I took a picture of the interior of the truck - and I got kicked out again and brought to the sign-in page. I tracked down the lone employee who was cleaning out and organizing the equipment. She took the time to check my equipment in herself. If I have to rely on the use of your online check-in or check-out options, I don't think I could use you guys...I'd be afraid of either not being able to pick up the truck or being able to leave it without getting in trouble.

People working the counter at this location are idiots. The trailer that I rented was filthy inside, and was insect infested. I had to use a bug bomb before I could load the trailer.

Let the customer know how they are suppose to return the vehicle. I was not told I have to go online all the manager said was to bring my phone. And never told me why. That process took about 1/2 . These things need to be explained to them he customers

The staff and vehicle were superior but I was extremely irritated about the return procedure. Your employee insisted I had to go to UHAUL.com to complete a process that required taking photos, etc, on my iPhone. My phone internet access didn't allow me access. Your employee was kind enough to let me use his phone. I found these extra steps annoying. A staff employee should be able to conduct this return process within minutes of the vehicle return.

I was returning truck and a lady outside was cleaning out a uhaul van. She told to use my phone to turn in truck. I tried but it wasnt working. She came over to help and got me to the site. It wouldnt let me complete the return. I asked the lady if someone inside vould help me she said it was only her. I tried completing the return but it wouldnt accept. She said to leave key in truck and she'd take care of it. It took several calls and 2 days to finally close it. Otherwise it went well.

1. The van was clean. However, it must have been recently cleaned and was not properly dry. This meant we had to dry out the cargo area floor before placing boxes and such atop it. 2. Returning the vehicle via mobile is easy, but there are some troubles. The UHaul area is near a major business district and there are many large concrete structures, this can lead to choppy mobile signal and, in turn, a frustrating customer experience. In addition, the return process on the mobile seems to halt as asks one to sign in multiple times if one has "too little memory". I was able to figure this out, but it may stump people to think they have to go back into their phones and clear away some of their image cache to be able to move forward with the return process. Cheers!

Reverend David Yogboh is a CROOK! Reverend??? Try acting like a man of the cloth you CROOK. I rented a U-Haul and returned it four hours later. I have all of my check in papers signed electronically by his employee stating NO damage and 5/8s of a tank.of gas left. The bill was paid in full. 20 hrs later they refund my payment and then charged me $150 in damages to the vehicle which was then checked in with LESS gas than I returned the vehicle with and by a different employee. CROOK!!! I spoke with REVEREND David on the phone and he's an absolute ASS. I filed a dispute and showed all evidence to American Express and received this email within two weeks. "Dear Richard Pawlowski, We are pleased to inform you that we have refunded your American Express® Card account in the amount of $150.00 from UHAUL moving and storage. After providing sufficient evidence that these charges were wrongly billed to your account we have decided in your favor. Thanks for your time and patience during this investigation." Cliff notes: Uhaul accepts my returned vehicle and charges my account after being signed off by THEIR empoyeem. 20 hrs later Uhaul refunds my initial payment after ANOTHER employee examines my vehicle with LESS gas in it and tries to charge me for damages. This is disgraceful and David's unprofessionalism on the phone was the icing on the cake. The man actually threatened me. I urge anyone to check all of my reviews and look for any type of anger like I displayed here. I review fairly. This situation was the absolute worst I've ever been treated as a paying customer in years. Go to the Uhaul down Oregon Ave near the river they can't be any worse.

All was well except the employee was swamped, I took advantage of an early resevervation and online checkin, but needed to wait for the keys just as long as being in line. One person can’t handle a first/last month rush
