No staff had masks on when I was there. There was also only one staff member there for the first 20 minutes I was there and the one person working had no idea where they had gone.

Reserved a truck for a certain time, was changed twice, then I was told a truck was not available. People working did not want to help at all, told me to call customer service. Several times, all three workers left the store, were hiding, didn't want to deal with a problem they created. Zero customer service. Go to another location to rent.

I do not appreciate having to pay you to do your job. If a location is open then they should check me in. Not insist on my doing it with my phone. What if my phone was dead or I didn't have a smart phone.

Jankiest damn Uhaul I've ever driven and not great service either. Charging $25 for a cleaning (without clearly indicating that this cost would be passed to the user) and then the employees aren't wearing masks in the enclosed, poorly-circulating space (when mounting evidence is indicating that the virus spreads through stale indoor air, and not fomites)? That's not just a ripoff, that's actively irresponsible. I wouldn't complain about customer service quality normally - lord knows we all have enough problems as it is - but we're in the middle of a goddamn pandemic here.

Many customers waited multiple hours for their vans/ equipment. The location was unorganized and I was almost 2 hours late starting my move because of U-Haul and not being able to locate the cargo van I reserved many weeks in advance.

I had a reservation confirmed and checked-in for 6am. Arrived at the U-HAUL location at 5:45am. I clicked "Pick-up My Truck" and was informed that I would need to wait until 7am. I called U-HAUL and was told that although I was able to book a 6am mobile pick-up at the 2990 South Street location, that this location had not enabled 24/7 mobile pick-up. We waited until a UHAUL employee arrived. The attendant on at the time, Ash seemed indifferent to our confirmation and told us we may not get a truck and to call customer service. After customer service failed to resolve the issue we again went in to talk to Ash and as he was trying to turn us away our order miraculously populated "in the system". Now 1.5hrs late we went on our way. When we came to return our van 1.5hrs early (you're welcome UHAUL), the mobile drop-off didnt work. Surprise! (The mobile process had so many glitches, including an app that wouldnt show our order, we had had to trouble-shoot it the day before our pick-up with UHAUL customer service. Eventually we were told to login online through the website on chrome.) It then took 20-minutes for our drop-off to be processed. Very very poor experience all around. We were not the only ones with this experience. One woman told us she went through the same process while we waited for our pick-up issue to be resolved - a reservation made and not honored. Another man was storming around the parking lot screaming expletives in pure frustration. You are horrible UHAUL! Will be looking first to other options next time.

First they tried to tell me my reservation wasn't valid bc someone called them and said they're on the way for a truck pick up at the same time as me. I placed my reservation a few days before and was on time then they tried to ship me off to another uhual location. Thankfully there were more than one employee bc the other guy took like 5mins to look up my info and I got the keys. I wasted like 20mins in there for some petty ass hating nigga if you want a headache free move go somewhere else

Cosmetically, the truck was pretty banged up with the little "X" stickers for scrapes pretty much everywhere. But it ran well and was reasonably priced. So, I was satisfied.

Employee made us wait an hour and a half for our vehicle, one employee did not wear a mask making it seem okay for other customers to not wear a mask, another one was leaving to go buy snacks which I why it took so long to get the vehicle because he couldn't locate the other employee. THEN the truck was accelerating while I would press on the brake and uhaul road side was telling me to drive it back or I would pay for towing fee when this isn't my vehicle that was broke. I was handed over an uncleaned vehicle during a pandemic that was also not in good driving condition. I will not be using uhaul in the future and will be sharing my experience publicly. Still waiting on my refund.

Staff couldn't get into system to verify my pick up and the website was dm as week was stuck in the store fir about an hour just to get the vehicle I need to move my stuff. I originally booked for 2 hours but the guy put it in manually for only 1 hour. Staff called me asking was I on the way to bring the truck bck because they were closing but I just walked into my home with the items. So I had to extend it but upon my return I could find the lock. I'd so I did get home until 9pm from originally being in the store @4:30 which it totally unexceptionable. On top of that I was over charged for my rental I would appreciate a refund and further look into the mileage because I only went no more that 9miles so my total .

Van contained an unfamiliar smell that proceeded to give me a head ache after a half hour of driving towards work. It became unbearable to both my passenger & myself. I turned off of route to work to return to rental place. Was told by manager that vehicle couldn't be exchanged and HE could not smell anything. Had rented a van the week prior for multiple days without experiencing the obtrusive odor. Could not debate issues because I had become late for work.

Customer service was very horrible not very helpful at all as of yet I still have not received and a receipt regarding my use of your U-Haul equipment. Have vehicle for a very short. Of time as what I was being charged was told I would have to wait for an email. I have been to many U-Haul places but was never treated like I was in this one.

I left a item in the uhaul truck On 7-3-2020 at 3:30 pm. I returned back at the uhaul location at 5:30pm of the same day and was told by the manager on the phone and the guy at the register that if you leave something we are not responsible that it's on you. The manager mentioned they don't have time to check vehicles for items left in any returned vehicle. I went to the store to see if my $1000 rolled up carpet was in the truck and it wasn't . I asked the cashier he says I don't have time to go check the vehicle for the item I'm busy but he had no customers and there was no customers around, he also said I should go look. I explained to him i did it's not there he said ooh well I guess it's gone. So at that time I requested to have the police come to take a report and view the camera to see who took the carpet he refused to call the police. At that time a customer entered so I went to wait for the police to arrive , as I waited around another employee came from the back so I went to the window where the 2nd employee came from and what did I see my $1000 carpet laying on the floor in the area where the employeees be at. Clearly at this time I realized they was trying to hide my carpet. I requested to have the employee go get my carpet to give to me. The second employee who I seen come from the back approached me and I told him to give me my carpet he retrieved my item and I left without incident. I will never ever rent from this location again. From the manager down to the cashier is very lazy, disrespectful and do not need to interact with the public. There customers service skills are “POOR” I have never ever experienced anything like that. This was manipulative, unhelpful , unprofessional, lazy, and just plain rude to treat a paying customer like this. To lie or purposely not try to help a customer retrieve there lost items just to be able to keep customers items it's ridiculous!!! I'm shocked to know this is where Uhaul services are at now. Please retrain or better yet replace these workers immediately this way your reputation will not be devalued because of employee's like this!

You have complicated both the rental for a vehicle and storage locker beyond recognition. The process takes to long from begining to end. I would have to be desperate to do business with U-Haul again.
