The vehicle broke down on me. When roadaide assistance came to my aid, he told me to take it back to where i got it. I returned it as he suggested, but a manager was not available to assist me. I went back when I manager was there only to get burned for my money.

Let people know ahead of time that you need to take active photos of the dash when completing checkout online before you return the keys. We returned the keys and then went online to checkout and found out

The young lady that helped me wasn't very engaged. However the gentleman next to her was in the process of calling me as I entered the store...impressive. it took some work to actually find the truck I rented because it was tucked away at the entrance of the property and no one escorted me out. But hey...I was renting a truck, not checking in to the Ritz-Carlton.

Maybe would recommend due to location. Young girl working the desk spoke very quietly and mumbled making it difficult to understand her. The fuel level in the truck did not match up to what it was on the paper, by almost a quarter of a tank different. I was just told what the truck number was and "if it is not one of the ones out front, it is around the side." That is not good customer service, you should show them or take them to the truck at least.

The Lady working at the desk did a poor job for several reasons: 1. She was on the phone with a friend when I was sitting down, and continued the call for a good 20 seconds after she decided to dedicate her attention to the customer (me). 2. She talks like she is falling asleep. In addition, she is lacking any type of conversational skills. No kindness. No „please“ „thank you“ etc. I don’t expect to her to treat me like a king, but I am expecting very BASIC service qualities from an employee who works with people on a daily basis. 3. She wasn’t able to answer basic questions: For example. I asked how big of a storage I should be looking to rent for a 1 bedroom apartment. Also, I asked what kind of truck I should be renting for a 1 bedroom apartment. No answer. I literally was getting out my phone to look it up online on the UHaul website. 4. She refused to show me the rental truck. She literally gave me the key and said „the truck is somewhere outside... just look for the number“. I asked her kindly to show me the location of the truck but she would not get up to show it to me, or give me proper verbal direction. I don’t mind the location of this UHaul location. It was clean and seemed to be well organized. But this particular human resource was with all due to respect VERY poor.

truck had a mechanic issue and no oil I had to purchase oil for truck, check engine light was on the staff was unprofessional and did not assist customers in appropriate manner. I waited 2 hours before I got helped it was worst service ever also they lied about amount of gas in truck

Rented a dolly and it was not given. I checked in online but then had to do the whole process again when I went to the store. Not sure why. They kept giving me different prices. I thought I had paid already (twice before coming to the store) but then I had to swipe again at the store. I did not understand why I had to do that.

My equipment was not ready when I arrived. The staff responded by cancelling my reservation giving me the 50 credit and making to effort to help. I was told to call 1800uhaul to find a truck at another locarion. I explained that i had scheduled the move and afterwars my mother was hospitalized such that i left her bedside to pick up the truck. I asked why they didnt call.me to delay pickup. They told me it wnt there fault that the euipment wasnt returned and that it isnt their practice to call. They were rude and heckled me as a group. I felt singled out and profiled. My response wad not positive and I admittedly at that point lost my temper. Shame on them for treating me so poorly. Where is the humanity?

A little more information from clerks would be great (which truck and where it is, and about the dashboard and controls, since there are some idiosyncrasies with operation.

The locations were great. My problem is that I had a confirmed pickup for a truck at Xpress Food Mart. The truck was not returned but Uhaul NEVER NOTIFIED ME of a change to location for pickup. The app sent me to Uhaul in Cinnaminson which had ~10 trucks in the 15ft-17ft range, just none available. After ~30min waiting, they found the truck in Philly for which I needed someone to drive 30miles to pick me up and get the truck. All in all, I only got a discount of $20 for all the trouble. All employees were very helpful, I just dont understand how you cant forecast ppl not returning trucks when there is a busy week. If you notified me and sent me to Philly right away, it would have saved me over 2hrs of waiting and driving.

Made a reservation two days before pick up on the day of pick up there was no uhaul available! I drove 30 minutes to another location where they said a uhaul was and nothing! Then I had to drive 1 hour to finally pick up a uhaul and there was no discount no apology nothing!! Worst customer service and I will never again rent from uhaul! Budget all the way!

I had to drive to a different location than I selected. I think I should have been notified ahead of time the the truck was not available and I would have to drive to another location. Instead of a 15 minute ride to pick up my truck it was a 1 1/2 hour delay front start to finish just to find a truck and go to a different location. Was not a good experience.

I rented a truck to move a piece of work equipment one way. I rented the vehicle Monday before the close of business, in order to get started fresh and early the next day. Upon arriving to my site, we recognized that this truck was too small, and that I need to get a larger truck. I called the help line to see where I should take the truck. They told me to return to the location for an exchange, but when I returned, I was charged for an in-town rental, then started a new contract associated with a new truck. This was not what the phone assistant said, but there was no time to deal with the issue.

I called to change a reservation, and the phone attendant was nice, and told me that they would pull a vehicle around and be waiting for me. I arrived, and the attendant had now clue what I was there for, and I basically had to start from scratch. There was a major disconnect.

I was charged incorrectly for fuel and rushed to return the uhaul I paid $148.00 was told that the truck had to be returned by 6 and I picked it up at 12:30 when I returned there was no one in the office I had to wait 20 minutes for someone to appear and then got charged 9.20 for fuel when I just went to the gulf gas station before returning the truck. When I complained the male associate gave me a card and said if you want to complain you have to do it on Monday that's when the manager will be back. It's no wonder that your competition rates higher than you.
