The staff was rude , on their personal phones . It was like I was interrupting them by bring there . I reserved a storage unit but it was too small they had nothing larger when I asked if they could check other facilities I was told to do it myself .

On-line reservation system and truck pickup was quick and easy. The truck was clean and worked properly. Checkout was terrible--about 30 minutes. Just one person on duty and there were computer problems.

I love the online ordering. I love the mobile app. I hate that i can order a vehicle at one location and when it's confirmed it's in another location. there should be some kind of large red flashing sign in an email that says: "Your order was received. We have a vehicle but it is at another location!" before it is confirmed. Allow me to click a button that says: "confirm at alternate location." I had to cancel two orders before I was able to confirm the right vehicle at the location i wanted.

My mother passed away, when I made multiple calls to uhaul asking to return the equipment back, they agreed and said they can help me with the price since the trailer was going to California originally with a price of 224 plus tax. I dropped of in jersey as soon as I found out about this the price for a rental was 118 plus taxes, I had the trailer for less than 24 hours and as a uhaul dealer of 5 years know that they can help me, the gm of this location wouldn't attempt to help me, nice to know that uhaul doesn't care, when I dropped my truck off at penske they were caring enough to return and discount everytging.... after spending over an hour on the phone, uhaul has lost my business forever!!

I was not guaranteed the equipment that I reserved online. I called ahead to see if the return time and equipment was okay and I was told it was. When I got there to pick up the 10ft truck for 8 hours they told me I couldn't have it for that long and had to give me the 9ft cargo van instead. I also needed to use roadside assistance because the tire blew out on the expressway. They took 3 hours to get to me, they were lost because they didn't pay attention to the directions of the operator and swore he knew exactly where I was. It was the worst experience ever honestly.

I had a horrible experience using Uhaul for the first time. I rented a truck to transport my motorcycle from it's original location to a garage a few miles away. When I went to the location I waited in line behind a customer who was clearly unhappy due to the service she was receiving (counter girl was being slow and using her cell phone). Once it was my turn the woman at the counter was still on her phone, but also taking my reservation. She asked for my ID and CC, which I put on the counter and waited...and waited some more. I had to point out the information was put in front of her. I then bring up my reservation number on my phone. She takes my reservation, charges my card and has me sign and initial paper work. She tells me to put the key through the return slot when I'm done because they will be closed, and hands me the key. I had to find the truck myself in the lot. I get in and notice a crack on the dashboard--I was naive for not going back in and telling anyone about it. I used the truck to drop my bike and return the key through the slot. This morning I was informed I will be charged $150 for the damage on the dash. I expressed it was pre-existing and that I should've taken a photograph of it. I argued my points to the employee, who then laughed at my frustration. I wasn't told of the sticker/damage policy that I am now reading about which I had signed at the counter. I wasn't even aware or given stickers to report any damages. This could all be easily avoided if I had been told about proper procedure, but now I will never advocate for Uhaul, and tell friends, family and anyone who will listen on the internet how the location on 2990 S 20th St, Philadelphia, PA 19145 was completely unhelpful and added insult to injury. I was planning on using Uhaul to retrieve my bike from the shop, but I'll using Budget Truck rentals instead.

This U-Haul facility is NOT located at 2990 S. 20th Street. It is not on S. 20th Street at all, and is not accessible from S. 20th Street. It is located at the far south end of Quartermaster Plaza, with entrance at S. 23rd Street and W. Oregon Ave.

The manager was wonderful. He helped me select the correct vehicle for moving, he was friendly and I was in & out real fast (crucial since I was in a hurry.) I highly recommend renting from this location, as the staff is professional, yet welcoming and they are very efficient. Also, the store is new inside, very clean and well stocked with moving supplies.

Rear view mirrors were dirty and difficult to use when backing up. The camera helped for behind the van, but I could not see things on the sides very well.

Teach the dude that sits on the right side of the service desk some manners He seems to not know what he's doing. And he gets very irritated when he has to actually help you. I went to storage from there first and he did not even check online to see that I had already expressed checked in and he had me there for an hour during that hour I was paying my movers. He is reluctant to get out of his chair. And he speaks to you in a very condescending patronizing tone of voice. I will not be using that storage after my first month I will pay my movers to move it out to another storage unit and another place in another location in a different company. I have worked with Uhaul over the years Many times but this guy is beyond rude not by the tone of his voice because he is acting very condescending. But he is letting you know he is like starts working really slow if you happen to be in a hurry that was my observation
