I don't understand I have been charged extra 2.16 usd. Also, I used 10 miles instead of 11 initially planned so this should come as a deduction. For info, I returned the truck 3 hours in advance and the tank had lore gas than when I left. Best. Romain BouisRomain B.

I rent a truck pretty rarely, as I'm sure many people do especially at the Chelsea location, so it would be amazing if there was a quick demo video or something pointing out key stuff about the vehicle: shifting, emergency flashers, gas tank, mirror adjustment, etc. Before covid an employee might have pointed those things out to you. Otherwise a very smooth rental experience!Katrina B.
Hidden fees galore, the price on your trucks might as well be false advertising. The â€œadjustmentsâ€ did not show details when I clicked on it, your gas gauge did not move so I overfilled it and you Mark it below what I returned it as. Line for pickup in the morning is very long every time, and only one employee at the counter - every time. I f you are not lucky, you will wait 30+ minutes easy.Gerhard S.
I was charged an additional $10.61 after I returned the vehicle. I have no idea why I am being charged for this. I returned the vehicle several hours before it was due and with more gasoline than I left with. In fact, although I was told at the desk when I picked up the vehicle that there was a 1/4 tank of gas, there was in fact less than 1/8th of a tank. Additionally, the internet connection at the facility was down and there was a significant backup of people. On the one hand, I understand that Internet connections can't be controlled. But that significant inconvenience coupled with the $10.61 extra charge made me decide to never use the 23rd street UHaul facility again.Anthony A.

Check in process could've been smoother; my partner waited around 20 mins just for someone to take the keys and confirm everything went ok. I also have to check; I included two dollies and no equipment was available so I hope I wasn't charged for those since it let me book them online for this location! The advertised price is $19. But I pay $70+. So misleading and I only drove to across town and got charged for gas which we barely used. I'm so disappointing I think Zipcar is a better option for this as they have vans which are lessSherman Y.

The vecchio was clean and it got me to and from my destination, however the truck needed service. It idled too high, it sounded like it needed a tune up or a gaskets or exhaust needed repair. I believe that vehicle should be sent for maintenance.LENA R.

I did not personally pick up the truck or return but the driver said the place was convenient to use and normal processing times my experience would U-Haul in the past has been exceptionally burdened with applications and regulations so I'm glad to see that you've simplified the process or realized you've lost business 'cause people will not stand in line for hours like it happened to me several years at that location so Congrats on your improvements will see you in the future as long as you keep things moving Joseph Johnstonrohan W.

The check in process was miserable. The app wasn't working to submit the check in and then they made me drive down the block to let another car leave the location so I had to drive the truck around the block and waste 15 minutes looping back around to the location just to check in which made me very uncomfortable just given the fact that I didn't check in yet. Also the location staff were poorly identifiable outside of the store. Multiple people tried to help me who weren't even Uhaul employees just so they could then ask if I could pay them to help move my stuff that day.Wesley F.

The equipment was definitely clean, but was outdated and half of the functions were not safe/not working. The woman who handled my check in at the front desk was wonderful - however, I was then handed keys in the garage and sent on my way. There was no communication about EZ Pass, the entire dashboard of the car was extremely outdated and frankly, the vehicle did not feel safe. I would have exchanged/made other plans but considering I rented the truck for the purpose of moving - I didn't really have any other options but to drive the huge truck down the parkway without any dashboard lights. I tried spinning the dial that was indicating it would backlight the speedometer, etc. and nothing worked. Frankly, this is an extremely unacceptable vehicle for the price point ($300) !!! I will definitely be filing a complaint.Mary P.

Upon returning the van at the 23rd street location (Sunday 9/19/21), I was abused by one of your employees name â€œGrimsleyâ€ he threatened to beat me up after I ignored his vulgarity. I reported him to â€œKurtâ€ at the time I wanted to file a complaint with the police and have him arrested. Kurt's response was providing me the managers number â€œWilliam Rodriguezâ€ that being said, I have documented my calls to him with NO answer. I am appalled that no one from upper management reached out to me with my concerns. I am afraid of this person â€œGrimsleyâ€ he should be reprimanded for his action on threatening to hurt me and calling me a â€œManâ€ in front of â€œKurtâ€MELANIEA C.

The moving company that I booked through your site was supposed to have two people and only one person showed up on time. The second showed up about 1.5 hours late and I was still charged the full amount for two moversâ€¦.plus I moved my own dresser down the stairs because they were incapable of doing it. I am not happy to shell out $235 for movers that were not professional nor showed up on time. I tipped the man who was there an appropriate amount for his work but do not feel that I should be charged the whole $235 for what happened.Blaise B.
