The woman I checked in with to pick up the truck was courteous and efficient. I wish I got her name so I could mention her in this review. The app and generally the check in process is much much improved. Keith who managed the drop off is great: clear instructions, get it done attitude and very personable. Gives u-haul a good name.

Great team and clean trucks
More information/review of the vehicle such as moving the mirrors, etc. I could have asked; however, should be offered or suggested. Also regarding the insurance option I was not told the deductible until I agreed to insurance and was told when reviewing the final contract. Had a time stop so did not challenge.

It was absolutely the worst experience I have had with uhaul. I will never go back to this location and possibly uhaul as a whole. Many things wrong with the experience. If someone cares they can feel free to reach out I will be happy to explain.
They cancelled my reservation for the "Keepers" location in the LES and then charged me a $20 fee to use the Chelsea location. UNBELIEVABLE.
Stop letting the U-Haul on 131 and Broadway exist; give the franchise to some other nearby business that would actually give a damn. They are terrible. As for W 23, I literally went an hour out of my way and spend an additional $60 bucks or so just because I know they are reliable and friendly. Today was no exception. From the guys in the garage to the girls in the lobby, everyone was awesome. Thank yâ€™all!

I had to go to this location because the place I rented mine the truck wasn't available. I think the MO should be to take a truck to the location I was and not make me go to a different location to rent the truck.
To me everything was fine, I have what I need and the service was professional.
The customer care and interaction could go better. Chakiya was the rep I worked with and she was quite curt and unhelpful towards me. I also happened to see her interaction with another person - which actually went much better than that with mine. I would just recommend her to keep her patience and calm, and not lose it with customers.
Front office lady, forgot her first name, neither want to work nor greet customer as she should. She is mumbling with foods in the mouth. The big company deserve better person to work with.
You needed way more staff to check people in. I filled out all of the information before I got there so that I could go right to the truck (which is what the site said I could do). Instead, I waited in line for 45 minutes while 1 guy checked people in. The guy in the garage even said 'if it were anyone but that guy, you'd already be at your destination'. It was awful.
...when I returned the car I showed the rep the light on the dashboard. He told me it means engine needs attention but sometimes it goes on randomly
The only problem I had, was I could not move my belonging to the to my new apt on time, when I called to extend for 1 more day, the female that was speaking to me from the uHaul location on 23rd St, was very concerned with a family who needed the truck. She kept stating the end of the month and all the trucks have been rented, I felt that my own needs and concern where of no concern to her, rather the family and the other customers. I did state to her that you are a big company and I did not think this was the first time or last that someone could not return the Uhaul Truck on time.
My wife and I felt the cargo van was clean but the exhaust fumes were coming in to the car during our 50 miles trip. The whole trip were dizzy and nauseating for both and we have to open the windows for fresh air.
The cashier was extremely rude, didn't explain anything and acted like was bothered for simple questions, extremely unprofessional. Won't be coming back ever, only for this reason.
