Big thing is that this location does not support after hours pick-up which the website did not note. If I hadn't called the night before, would have been a DISASTER. Ended up spending about two hours sorting it out. The application and idea is great, but the systems aren't fully integrated yet.

Why did you raise your prices? $12+ facility fee? Raising mileage fees? I’m going to start looking for other options. Sneaky fees suck ass.

The employees here were very pleasant and helpful. I had an issue with damage that happened to the truck I rented which was not my fault and I am working it out with UHaul. But it was an issue specific to my situation. Overall, though, I had a pretty good experience here and would recommend this location to rent a truck or van.

My truck had 2 minor issues: 1) it didn't have quite as much fuel in the tank as stated in the paperwork; 2) the passenger side door needs to be slammed hard in order to close properly. There was no one in the garage to ask about either of these issues.

The counter person was great, she explained everything. The garage person just brought the truck around and that was it. No help of any kind was offered.

Ordered a mattress bag to be picked up in store but they didn't have it when I got there. I was able to select a 3 hour window from 6pm to 9m when I reserved the vehicle but then was told at the counter to have it back in 2 hours at 8pm because they close at 9pm. The people working the car pickup were great but between being out of mattress bags and racing to get the vehicle back in time it was a jarring experience.

You guys now charged an absurd 12.95 Facility fee which is ridiculous and it’s only at this location you need to remove it soon before you lose 50% of your customers I happen to be at corporate customer who rents almost every day but my company is going to look into other options soon. Well the prices need to be more clearly outlined when you walk in. I ended up having to pay double the price because of the new fair increase in price per mileage. Computers run slow making the employees jobs more difficult and they usually have one person working which slows down the process alot.

The location was conveniently located for me. Had a bit of a wait when I arrived at 7:15am but it was a Saturday so understandable. Nice staff and reasonably easy pick up and drop off.

On Saturday morning and other times when you know many people will be renting vehicles, you should staff the rental counter with more than two people. I waited 40 minutes, even though I had filled everything online beforehand

The truck had 99,9800 miles on it and was like driving a go-kart ... the the big problem was trying to return it after hours. The U-Haul website clearly states that the truck could be returned online, and the app said to leave the truck in the lot at the Chelsea location, but there is NO Lot or Key drop!! I had to change my plans and return in the morning. The attendant very smugly told me I should have gone to the Chelsea location website where they state no night returns, but how would I know that there was a website different than the one I rented through?? This should be corrected and I should get a credit for the major inconvenience!

As I said when I dropped the truck off it was very hard to start. Every time the truck was turned off I had 5 minutes of jiggling the steering wheel and turning the keys just to get it to start. Ultimately for the last stop I had to leave the truck running with my gf sitting in the car. Just made the move even more difficult and I didn’t stop the fill up the truck for the same reason. Was an unnecessary stress and to then be charged for 1.5 gallons of gas when I only drove 7 miles?

Train your desk staff to speak clearly, actually look you in the face, perhaps smile, appear to care about you as a customer--you get the point. The van was clean and appealing, the rates fair, but the entire staff, especially at the desk but even in the garage need lessons in basic manners. It's no different than at most other services in the U.S., but uniquely in the U.S. those serving you seem like they're doing you a favor.
