There is no communication with this location and uhaul customer service in terms of approved changes to the contract. A uhaul representative called from the location that I must return the truck immediately that a family is waiting for the truck while in fact I have gotten approval 3 hours earlier on from customer service to continue the use of the vehicle for the next 24 hours before the call.JOHNEGBADON I.

My firs time using UHaul. The guy at the pickup obviously hadn`t had his happy pills and didn`t explain the full return procedure which has resulted in me being charged for fuel even though I returned the van with a full tank. I went to clean the windshield and there was zero wiper fluid. This could have been dangerous had it been a snowy or wet day. The van itself could have used a good vacuuming and wipe down. It was not filthy but definitely could have been cleaner in the cabin, especially considering the need for extra sanitation with covid. Otherwise the van operated well.Carolyn V.

there was garbage left from the previous client that was discovered once I was off the lot, a bottle of men's shaving cream, and a water bottle, which leads me to think the COVID cleaning precautions might not have been applied to this particular van. i waited for an hr outside this location. staff was inside but not even coming outside to talk or answer questions. then told by head office when i called them to download your app. for some reason your app requires access to all my photos and file info and my contacts in my personal phone.... hummmmm. Not sure why you need all that to take a pic of my face anyways took pictures of my license which is not cool because all web sites eventually get hacked. after all this mess the app didnt work. i used my credit card on the phone to reserve the truck gave all the info then was told by this location for me to give them all my credit card info again. this process took me over an hr and a half to get my truck from the time i got there. also when emailed the bill the attachment wont even open for me to view the bill. sorry but with service like this I will pass on using your company in the future. The gas cap was off the truck when I took delivery. The service engine light was on. I returned it 4 hours early and with the same gas level as when I took it, I have pictures to prove it and you still charged me an extra $20 for fuel. Plus you changed my pick up location.JEFFREYB D.

FUEL SCAMMERS I rented the truck yesterday At 2:45PM dropped it off at 11:15PM. I only drove 23 Miles and refuelled it for 13 litres. I was charged $84.19 for not refuelling it. Because of COVID you cannot see them in person to verify things, therefore they charge on your Credit card whatever the number they like. On the paperwork which they sent me in the email and I didn't have time to look at it until the next day. Actual fuel level and paper fuel levels were different. I am not talking about other locations but at this location in the paperwork your beginning fuel level is higher than actual and ending fuel level is written lower than actual. In this case you end up being low on fuel and they have a reason to charge $84.11 for 36 Kilometres. Please choose another rental company or a different location and save yourself from the FUELLING SCAM.aasia B.

This location didn't let anyone in due to covid 19 which is understandable but the owner wasn't willing to help at all . I called him as the door was locked luckily he picked up but answered very rudely that â€œ nobody gets in you have to do it online â€œ and hung up on me . So then I called the 1800 number the lady on phone sounded super disinterested and she put me on hold for 25 mins so at the end I had to figure it out myself Then I finally got the code for the lock where truck keys were present , the lock didn't open for 30 mins I kept on trying there were no instructions, no help from on site staff . There was a number on website that said contact this if you're facing problem I called that number and the guy said I can't help you and hung up on me . It took me 1 hour 15 minutes just to get the truck . I am never gonna use uhaul again I would rather pay more and hire professional movers . Even if I use thisGurnoor K.

Worst customer service I've ever experienced in my whole life. No care or compassion from employees. Was passed over from one person to another. Was spoken to very harshly from gentleman on site as if I didn't understand instructions for online check in correctly. Was transfered on phone when I specifically asked not to be. On March 21, 2020, I received a confirmation for my Order #:22238272 for a 10' Truck to be ready for me on April 05, 2020 at 9:00 A.M. ALL of my move was based on that timing! When I got to the Pick Up Location: U Lock Plus Self Storage, 27 Edvac Dr., Brampton, ON L6S5X8, your Representative told me that the 10' truck wouldn't be returned by the prior renter until 12:00 or 1:00 P.M. He stated that the U-Haul reservation software always causes overlaps like this! My only options were to take a larger, more expensive truck, or a smaller van. I was ABSOLUTELY FUMING AND DESPERATE, so the rep entered the changes to my original order and I took the 9' van. I WILL NEVER TRUST ONE OF YOUR so-called CONFIRMATIONS AGAIN and I will spread the word about my experience.Ioannis V.

Hi There was mechanical issue in the truck while coming back to return. I stopped and switch off ignition two times then stopped bell ringing . Otherwise gentleman at front desk was very professional and very quick.Manpreet S.
I had 2 problems that I had to deal with. First, my reservation was changed 2 days before pick up and I was required to travel farther than I had reserved to pick up and drop of the truck. My rate was reduced, but this was still not an optimal outcome. Second, the truck I got was damaged and un-drivable. There were no other trucks available other than driving another 40 minutes to Milton. This wasn't possible as I was flying out that night. Luckily the person assisting me at the location was able to call me back and get another truck. I was very happy with his service, but really unhappy with how the rest of my reservation process went. Switch my reservation at the last minute and then get a damaged truck. I spent an hour at the pickup location and was just able to move the house before flying out. Overall I'm pretty unsatisfied.Cory F.

I have drive total of 20 mile and i have fill gas 8 liter but when i have received bill they say tank was low and add 10 dollar in my billvijaysinh R.
Everything went well, was nervous about u-haul as I read many bad reviews. Sam was polite and assisted with everything making it simple. Truck was very clean inside and ran smooth. Only down side was that I paid close to $17 for gas (14L) Even though I drove 12km round trip including the gas station. But not really going to bicker about $5. 5/5 experience.Bobby G.

Fallow the request of the customer i ask to pick up a truck on main street Bramtpon and drop it off in hamilton ontario since i was moving 50 min away at the last minute they change my order were i had to drive back 50 min to bring the truck with more gas and i had to have someone with me fallowing me so im able to go back another 50 min drive not happy about the service at all and because they make me go more hrs the truck cost me more in gas and still expect me to put more fuel in it when i already put 60 from Hamilton to Brampton and arrive very low not happyAndrew V.

Our experance was wonderful, my only complaint was the aluminum floor got slippery after tracking snow into the box of the truck, I slipped and fell in the truck and injured my knee on the wheel well giving me a large lump below my knee and it's sill sore 4 days later, perhaps the truck could come with a couple large rubber matts for grip to walk on..
