Clean, uncomplicated, good price
TODD SI thought it was a little silly that I should have to stop at a gas station to fill an already full tank of gas, like the person at the desk told me I had to do. I told her I would only drive a grand total of about 5 miles, but she said I had to fill the gas tank anyway, so I did. It was an 83 cents fill-up. So silly. Otherwise everything was fine with the ease of picking up and returning the truck and with how easy it was to drive and use. We did not see a ramp with it, which was a little surprising, but my two strong helpers were able to lift the items into the truck ok.
BRENDA JThe lady there was very busy and they where about to close. She was nice enough to rent me the truck anyway, The truck was very clean and did everything I needed. Very nice location!

MATTHEW SI needed to get an adaptor for the trailer lights. It would be nice if the adaptor was available for sale or rent at the U-Haul location. I had to go to an auto parts store to get the adaptor.

Pupungatoa FThe drop off process is ridiculous. It was pouring rain and after parking the truck and putting the keys in the key deposit box, I realized I would be required to do a photo shoot of the truck and now I was unable to start it to take pictures of the odometer, etc. I realize you have to keep people accountable, but this is ridiculous. I feel like I’m doing the job that a U-Haul employee should do. Again clear instructions ahead of time to review would’ve been helpful in this case. Also I requested a dolly on my online reservation. When the customer service representative called to confirm my reservation a day before, I mentioned the dolly wasn’t there and she said oh no problem. I’ll add it. Guess what? No dolly in the truck! I’ll have to check and make sure I didn’t get charged for it.
James AEverything was generally fine except that the app kept closing down on my phone and couldn't upload the photo of the mileage, etc. And although the base fee is good for a 24 hour period, I felt like I was being pressed to return it sooner so the vehicle could be rented more than once in 24 hours. But maybe they are trained to say "When will you be returning the vehicle." But then again some employees were really helpful and informative.
Georgianna MI was switched to this location at the last minute. Unfortunately, they did not have the blankets and the dolly that I had ordered. The vehicle was clean and ran well, although the check engine light was on when I picked it up.

Louis BMoved my pickup location 4 times. When it finally went to westmont location the trailers lights did not work. Customer service was extremely poor. Manager there was very rude and not helpful at all I was not helped by any staff while hooking it up. Will never recommend or use U-Haul ever again
Kevin BThe cab was fairly dirty. In the back of the truck, there was a hole in the roof that leaked. The back was also dirty. Finally the truck came with a dolly ziptied in the back of the truck. I had to have the rental place remove it as I did not order a dolly.

RONALD WThe pickup process was so bad. I had followed all the steps in the pickup instructions and then when it came to get the keys, it said to go inside and get them but the place was locked. there a place where it looked like a safe for keys outside but it had a code and i was not provided with any code. After waiting for a bit, someone showed up and finally got the keys.
UMER MEverything was smooth
Carlos BUpon arrival, we were advised that the pads and card that was part of our order we’re not available. We were given no advance notice of this to make alternate arrangements. Also, we were given no information about the return process. Where to park the truck how to drop off the keys, or the ridiculous return process requiring us to take photos of everything.

Margaret SThe original drop off location was CTJM One, Inc. 9196 Joliet Road, Hodgkins, IL. They would not accept my trailer without me unhooking in pouring rain in far distant lot. They would not accept blankets without me hauling them 50 yards into his shop and staking them in his back room. He is a complete jerk. Should not be a U-Haul rep. U-Stor It Managers LLC were great, very professional super nice.

John GLocation was supposed to be open at 10am on the day of my drop off. I left two messages with the property manager, but didn’t hear back until I’d already left the property. I waited for almost an hour at the site, before I decided to just leave the truck and drop the key in the mail bin. I’m sure it’s a fine location, but my first experience was poor.

Jose SI was not aware that I would need to prove my identity with a lease or a passport or two verifications. Perhaps I overlook back in the regulations that I read. I finally found two people who were home to vouch for me. The digital check-in seem to work fine. It did take me about 20 minutes, however.
