Our online truck reservation was physically visible, but no staff at site to facilitate the rental. Also, the type of dolly/cart we reserved was not available at the site - we had to use an appliance dolly instead. Onsite staff said it was Uhauls' fault and a Uhaul customer rep said that we had a contactless pickup (for which there was no indication on our contract/email info, nor did the onsite staff have this info). Ultimately, Uhaul made good with a $50 credit, but the experience was frustrating, and our move was delayed several hours while we ironed this out.Kimberly S.

This has nothing to do with the Rental location, but I was called a day or 2 before my move to notify me that the 26 FT Uhaul truck I ordered from a location 5 minutes away was NOT available and this location in Lake Orion was the closest with a 26 FT truck. Although Uhaul added 50 miles to my contract, they did not compensate me for the gasoline to drive it 40 miles to my house. The original pick-up location would have only been a 5 mile drive to my house.Brian C.

Please move the dolly and blanket away from the loading door. It was in the way and I had to break the seals to load my item into the truck. I wasn't charged thankfully but still was a hassle and doesn't make much sense. Putting them towards the back would be much easier.Spencer F.

Good location. This was the 3rd location I had to go to drop of the trailer I rented though. The first did not accept trailers and the second didn't accept trailers that large (6x12). Would have helped if that was advertised and then the first stop pointed me towards the second.Phelan S.

None of your electronic media systems work fully. I was unable to complete the registration form beyond step 2. And it would not tell me what was wrong with the form. When returning the vehicle the app asked to allow location, it was but it refused to accept it and we could not finish the return. I called the 800 number, 800-go-uhaul and all I got was this stupid survey about vacations. Never did reach anybody who could help. You need to rework all your electronic media. So my drop off location that I picked online was never applied for this rental. I went to expected drop off location and was told I needed to go out of my way (again) to another location to drop it off ( which was church st). Was told it was being picked up by next customer that day. Arrived no one there. Had to meander a serpentine to backing it up into an available spot. Next day never got a call that it was recieved ok. Then stood in line to not even get a confirmation of dropping it off. Gal was overwhelmed so I politely accepted it was checked in, no paper copy given. The trailer was suprisingly still there. So did that other customer really need me to drop it off the previous day? I will never recommend uhaul ever. I am a large public business owner and will pass my poor experience on to others. At checking in had to redo all the information that I had given online again.James J.

It's not about the location, it's the mess u guys create at these satellite locations. I had a reservation for a month and the pickup location was changed 3 times, the equipment changed from a 12' that I wanted, to a 15' to a 20 â€˜ 4 hours before my scheduled pickup. U ran me, the CUSTOMER, all over the city because u couldn't provide the equipment I wanted at the place u promised! Terrible system and service. Always the same, last minute changes and disappointment. Your real problem is these people who run their main business at the location and have uhaul as a sideline could care less about the uhaul customer. They take no responsibility for the rental process nor do they care. Cody at the highland rd told me 4 hrs before I was to pick up the vehicle that the person that had it was not going to return it because he still needed it, so I was out of luck. His solution was â€œ you'll have to call uhaul I have nothing to do with reservationsâ€. When I called the corporate reservations line they were great, promised everything, unfortunately there's no followup or accountability with the morons that run the satellites. Piss poor system, your service stinks!michael B.
