The access hours on the web and on the facility sign next to access door are incorrect. It states that access hours are 5AM-10PM but it's only allowed betweenl 7AM-7PM

There was a 20-minute wait until we could process the reserved truck and do the paperwork. This seems a bit long since we did everything online in preparation. Nevertheless, the staff was very friendly, competent, and on top of things.

I made a 10' van reservation on U-Haul web portal with 48hrs ahead of time(Order #: 25343915). At the check-in facility , the U-Haul staff told me that my van was not available. Without receiving any prior text message notice. Without giving me any reason. And they had not any replacement to offer to me. The staff was not professional at all. And, off the records, they offer me to fix the "availability issue" with $50 cash. These guys are unprofessional and they cannot be trusted. Be careful if you have to deal with this facility.

Terrible experience, I do not recommend this location to anyone. I rented a utility dolly and when I arrived it was not available. The worst part was not only that, but that they charged for the service and an extra charge of $80 for the loss of the equipment when it was never delivered since it was not available, according to the agents of the place. I went and complained and they sent me to speak with the manager of the place. We will see how this case ends, since I will not allow my money to be stolen in a blatant and unfair manner.

My only concern is how many employees they have to work when I pick up the van, was only one guy in the front desk, I took like 35 minutes to get my van. I don't know the name of the guy work in the front desk but his really good calm and take care of the ppl, the manager was in the garage and anytime he came to help the guy in the front. Customers was very mad because the line was so long but the managers on this location they need to hire more ppl to work !

My van was very dirty. Also I did not have a full tank of gas when I picked up. When I returned the truck they charged me $15 for gas. I only put 4 miles in the van. There was no manager on duty to sought out my problem/refund.

With in a a week I went to this U-Haul store the first day I ordered a bigger truck and used it for about 6 hours when I brought the truck back I received my receipt the young man was very friendly so I decided I would go back to that store because I hade items I forgot to move this time I ordered the small fan 19.99 a day because iI had a small amount I had the van for 2 1/2 hours and when I brought it back and I looked at my receipt it was 2 time more than the day I ordered which both day the gas fee was added no problem the customer service was not good this young lady was like it is what it is attitude but I don’t play about my money then the man came in and said he made a mistake after I called the main office I will never go back there any more I was very disappointed

Have no real complaints as the experience was positive and was in and out of the office very quickly. The only issue I can raise is that when I had originally called to inquire about renting a van I was told that long distance round trips were ok (was travelling from Miami to the Orlando area). However, when I got to the office I was told that vans were not available for long distance trips but they were making an exception for me; when I had called, I specifically stated that I was traveling to the Orlando area and wanted a one way rental, if possible.

This U-haul location has to be one of the best locations in all of Miami-Dade county. The manager, Ms. Menissa Martinez is an absolute pleasure to do business with. She has amazing staff on board as well. Everyone is very courteous, professional, and knowledgeable. You can tell customer service is top priority here. My family and I always felt safe visiting our storage unit after hours because it’s well lit, secure with cameras on the property, and has sensible security measures to provide entry to the units. I would recommend this location one thousand times over! Thank you Ms. Martinez for always being so accommodating to our family and meeting our storage needs.

My reservation which I reserved days prior was alter and modified without my consent redirected me upon arrival even though it was several vehicles there on (the day of and afterwards) to another location on 79th street and 29th Ave. a third party dealer for an unsafe vehicle which put me and my family lives jeopardy!! Let’s be clear the manager (she) on 36 street offer a small unit to compensate me for the unsafeness of a vehicle, that should’ve never been on the road due to all the issues it had also I was out of the storage unit by 2/29/2024 And I have pictures!!! I suffer with back pains health issues etc. Miami Dade County worker out on medical leave….. And I have never experienced customer service like this in 32 years!!!

The only thing that was okay seemed to be the security features. The access wasn’t great and the location was awful… Having to take boxes on a cart from outside then down a long hallway, then downstairs and around the corner then back upstairs was terrible. Storage facilities should have easy access to storage units from the outside. I didn’t enjoy this experience at all! I would give it a 1 out of 5. I couldn’t even get an appropriate parking spot. I had to park down the street and worry about getting the car towed… Very small parking lot!

Ran by a bunch of kids, no customer service. No Dollie’s or carts to move your stuff from your vehicle, no parking or pull up access. Multiple code gates for 1 door?? The worst run and accessible storage I have ever been to. If I’m going to pay $180 a mo th for a box, I have many other storage facilities to choose from. This would not be the one.

So I got an Uber there and I had all my items in the Uber But the wan at the front desk was moving so slow literally just taking 15 to 30 minutes per person an hour an a half went by for 3 people it's like people in Miami are retarded idk..I came in with an online move in. And I ask if I can get my lock..and she just kept staring around the room. So the Uber driver ended up throwing me out of the car on the side of the road with all my stuff..it's disgusting how you can't do anything in miami without someone who really doesn't deserve the job getting in the way creating an issue and suddenly you lose your unit or like me your standing out side with all your stuff ..people could've stolen it..like whoever that little Tabatha girl is needs to be fired..

The storage have RATS infestation problem. I have an issue were rats were found inside my storege room. My wife was the only one dealing with the storage, she have health issues. Sinse the issue was create by them I request help from the manager. I ask if some one from the facility can help her, and they say NO, They told me she have to take out everything out by her self, inspect what was damage and them make a claim, and put everything back again. The issue was created by the facility for poor pest control practices, WHY THE CUSTOMER NEEDS TO DEAL WITH SOME ISSUE CREATED BY THE FACILITY, SPECIALY WHEN THE ONE VISITING THE FACILITY IS A WOMAN. Also some times She trying to walk from the room to the lobby to buy some supplies, and one of the employe make her go around from the outside of the facility to acsses to the customer service area. DID you call these Good Customer Service? I am not. I have to through out a lot of things, sence it was evidence of RATS escrement and orine. This was not a rent for a couple of month, I rent the facility for entire year, and it was very expense compare to some competitors that I found after I make the deal. NEXT TIME I WILL NOT RENT A STOREGE WITHOUT VERIFY COMPETITORS AND DEFINITLY NO WITH UHAUL. Sincerly Carlos A Mercado

To Clarify a few things, first the young lady who attended to us was not very informed on all the storage protocols of the facility, like the Uhaul rep in Tampa who provided insight on all the offers, once I pick up my truck. Their a corporate facility and they offered certain deals and I was told most corporate facility should also honor the same deal. Was willing to pay for the entire year, but was not given any incentive to do so. Now the two young gentlemen upon my return of the truck were more helpful.

They charge me a late fee and send a reminder o f the late fee but not when the due date was closed how convenient. So I found a new storage and cheaper near the area and brand new facility. And I was informed if I wanted automatic payment which at U-haul they never offered, And their prices are extremely high I only used them for 1 month because that was the only storage available.

We checked in and 10 minutes later checked out. The storage unit area smelled very musty. The unit we were provided had no access availability for our DJ equipment we NEEDED to store. Extremely tight corner to a very narrow hallway. Doubtful a large dresser could make the corner. We immediately knew the unit would not work. The person working with us had absolutely no knowledge of anything that was storage unit related.

The staff was always helpful and friendly and went out of their way to make sure I felt welcome and appreciated. Anytime I needed help whether to find a locksmith, needing to dump trash, or questions about my storage price I didn't have a problem. This location is also very good in that in case of hurricane it is least likely to flood.
