The people who work here are friendly but extremely unprofessional and working on their own personal schedule. Upon arrival, I was waiting to be helped by the employee, standing there awkwardly, while she talked on the phone. I thought she was talking to a customer so I waited patiently but it was in fact a personal call. It wasn't until another employee came in and let her know that I had a reservation. She did not hang up but continued to talk on the phone and help me. I am easy-going so I didn't really mind as long as she was getting it done, but it was quite ridiculous and I'm sure other people would have been very upset. It seems like they don't have a very efficient system because when I returned my trailer it was chaotic and vehicles were blocking everything and I finally got the notice of an employee who told me I was going to have to wait. I was fine with waiting but it was again very awkward just being there in clear view with no one approaching to let me know what was going on. Anyway, as I said everyone was very friendly when they helped me, it just took a bit.

While attending to me upon return, the GM was on the phone with someone, Even though the return was quick. I also had to hunt for the review link due to the personnel not asking for my email. It would've been nice to have a email receipt instead of a printed copy.

Trailer lights did not work when picked up. 7am pick-up turned into an 8:30am departure from the rental lot. Trailer was "sort-of" clean. I had to sweep the extra dirt out. They also forgot to put moving pads in trailer and I did not notice until I opened at packing location.

Came at 630 pm, location closes at 7. 7 trucks outside. Front desk girl's first words to us, "we don't got no trucks for you." I inform her I can see online there is. "I'm not renting one unless you already have a reservation." I then asked for her manager, she said there was one. I said ok I'll make an online reservation, she argued then said fine I'll rent you only a regular pickup truck (I assume she was assuming I wouldn't need that type but I did). She rented it to me, the whole time being combative, then arguing with a guy ably who would pull the truck up to give it to us while she had her child there while she worked and kept complaining about how it was too late and closing time - what a ridiculous employee, had she worked for me, I'd fire her and also have her find daycare, what a joke.

Give some free miles. You charge miles from the moment I get the truck and sometimes they won't round it up. I picked up a truck with 2082.8 miles the moment I rolled off the lot I was already charged one mile. Then I get charged for the miles to drive it back and I have to put gas. That's a rip off I'll be using Budget from now on cause they round up the miles and give you 8 free miles. Meaning driving from and to the drop off I not getting charged.

The Uhaul staff thought it was appropriate to get start the 10 foot truck and move the vechicle without my knowledge while I was in the vehicle on the auto transport that was attached to the trailer. A few seconds earlier and I was going to be lodged between the two tires. I was standing on the tire a split second before the vehicle and transporter was moved! I'm beyond upset and wa extremely terrified in that moment!

more people working outside. 1 person on a weekend handling all incoming and outgoing trucks is stupid. Waited 30 minutes to drop my van. Manager is always super helpful and all people that work there seem to care somewhat about customer experience.

Front desk gentleman on duty for my pickup seemed bothered that I interrupted his cell phone video viewing. I was not greated by him at all. The lady I originally ordered the truck a few days earlier was fantastic, I was disappointed she was not there for my truck pick up. Albert made up for a poor customer experience. He was super friendly and helpful, though a bit extreme when checking my truck back in. To be asked to remain in thetruck and check all of the blinkers and headlights while he beat the tires several times with a club was a bit extreme....but with a bit of training he will be an asset to Uhaul.

when I returned the van, I wanted to pay in cash. The young lady who took care of me was arguring with a man and she put the cost of the van on my card.

I want to start by saying the people that worked with me at both the locations in Rochester, NH and Miami, FL were friendly and helpful and did what they could. This is not a reflection of their efforts. The U-Box system seems to be severely flawed an U-Haul does not take into account that timing is one of the most important aspects of moving, especially if it is over a long distance. In New Hampshire, along with a handful of other customers, our U-Boxes were delayed. Mine was 7 hours late so I received it at about 7:00 pm instead of noon that day. Along with that, the people helping me move were no longer available. A remaining work obligation, organizing new help and apologizing for making people wait for hours for nothing, and actually leaving on time to complete my move were all a challenge. This lead to lost money including the result of an extra nights stay at a hotel during my move because of he timing shift as well as very valuable time lost. I am severely disappointed. My impression is that the organization and scheduling of the movement of U-Boxes is not rigid enough to meet customers needs. While I waited at U-Haul, it seems this was a common problem. I would appreciate being contacted further about this matter.

The pickup truck smells like cigarettes in the ashtray was full of Ash. I stepped out of my car for 2 minutes to give food for my workers at lunchtime and I left my lunch bag in the vehicle when I turned back to the pickup it was full of roaches. I was not too happy with my second go-around renting a pickup from you. The first location on US1 off of 67th Avenue was excellent perfect vehicle clean well kept. Just being honest I am a business owner and I have my car both times in-service , this one was for the mechanic and the other was for Bodywork on my vehicle
