RANDALL GNothing. I go here not just because it’s Close to my house… the manager Morgan is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I feel like I’ve jumped back into the 80’s where there was real customer care, courtesy and follow through. I can NOT EVEN BEGIN TO TELL YOU how many times I’ve used your trucks in the past 10 years let alone the last 3. I’ve moved locally but I have the best Uhaul rep in GR. I’ve moved myself, my dad ( stages of life different homes), myself with storage units, my dads stuff with storage units, myself and my daughter, my son ( who just passed away unexpectedly). Don’t EVEN GET ME STARTED ON HIW SHE RUNS THAT BEAUTY OF AN INDOOR HEATED AND CLEAN ( thank you Lisa the housekeeper!!) Storage on Alpine. I have empty nested, moved, had to add storage Space from my sons passing, then my daughter moving out on her own…. Her things out of my house too and organized it at the Storage Center. I don’t know Morgan at all but it’s been a very difficult 2 years. I feel safe, valued and heard when I need any help with Uhaul. I am soooo sooo grateful to her in my life rt now… she is my only diamond in this very rough rocky world rt now. I can count on her to understand what she tries to see what I’m going through. I’ve moved around within the facility just to try to get my own things organized but my kids things empty nested set aside ready for them. If I could tip, oh yes I would. When I hear someone that needs a Storage place… I send them to my “ extension of my HOME as Uhaul Storage Alpine is. We don’t get much in life these days, there is a lot of struggle in life. Her responses “without questions or an attitude “ make me so incredibly happy and wanting to come back” to Morgan’s Store ( and somehow I find myself always being asked to rent a truck - that means drive lol) for friends and family. Please let her management know that she is an amazing caretaker of her responsibilities with Uhaul but she is only what employers could dream of having for help. And for records… feel free to look at my profile… I’ve been to so many locations. The managers were respectful and helpful. But o feel for them as they were always under staffed with quick and professional employees. Especially the Wyoming Burlingame location. The Kentwood location had good help but not enough. Wyoming West locations hours were not great and I really felt like they just didn’t want to assist customers, even over the phone. The downtown GR location.. well they have a well oiled machine going on but the manager there I noticed doesn’t let his outstanding staff glow as they should. He’s always cutting them short of what they have to offer to say and when I tried to extend my gratitude to his staff he put it back on himself. You can tell they are a great team but those young teammates need to be acknowledged and recognized too. “ it’s not the manager show” he has a great team of kids… let them Know I notice them.. when I call… when I bring my truck back… even when the boss interrupts when I do know by the look on their faces… these employees know what they are doing. Courtesy and such kindness when I’ve caught them On their own. It’s a gentleman in his 20’s straight brown hair and he’s been there for a long while… he’s def ready to have his own store… there is another Morgan in the making! Anyways I hope this helps. I absolutely love your App and your vision in moving help , storage and rentals. My hats off to Morgan and the gentleman at the Ceasar Chavez store ( I mentioned his description earlier)… the KW location … the gal that always has French Braids with lighter brown hair… the manager at Burlingame was good too.. not sure she’s still there but she was super helpful but boy oh boy the struggle was badddd keeping people to work but that should even be in that career field. My best of best to Morgan and Lisa at store Alpine in GR MI ( alpine). I will continue to have my extension if hone there as I’m a RV’r just starting my new stage of life and need my mothers China to be safe annnnnd my itty bitty storage area where I have all my sons Military uniforms and this mamas little shrine of her baby boy.. I can just sit, rearrange as I need; in the heat, or comfort of a non moth ball smelling storage area and the bathroom is awesome attribution of what folks need when they are moving things. The drive in system I can not begin to tell you what a significant ” brilliance” it has made for any of us that have to do things all on our own… comfort and clean and SAFE!! SOLANGE GGuy at counter was rude and was a liar , I called several times placed me on hold then hung up .I went to the store in person was not busy at all. Guy said he had no 15 ft trucks , I said ask these trucks out there are rented he says are you asking me the same question twice... with an attitude I then got on the website and reserved one 15 ft truck went ban to counter and got it ... he lied was rude and dressed like a bum. No hygiene or manners bro... how do you keep a job ... will not return or recommend ...

GWIYEREKA MThe tire pressure sensor light came on two different times. I didn't bring my tire pressure gauge with me, but the tires looked ok both times I pulled over to make sure I didn't have a flat tire , they looked fine. I left it with more gas than when I got it. And brought it back 15 hours early. Will I get any credit back? Or will the mileage difference offset the money I paid for 48 hours? Please advise. Thank you for the rental. I will be back. 👍

MICHAEL WEverything went off with out a hitch/Uhaul pun. I was able to upload all my info online so Pickup was fast. When I returned the trailer after hours the lot was well lit, and there was plenty of room to maneuver, I like that I was able to drive all the way around the building so I didn't feel trapped and have to back out.

RANDY AWaited more than 30 min to even get help. Only two people working and intentionally going slow. They asked me questions that the other location did not ask me. The parking was packed and stressful. Would never ever pick up or drop off a U-Haul here again.
ANDREA ETerrible tires in this snow. I got stuck in my driveway which was plowed but tires were spinning. Rear wheel drive isn't good for Michigan.
Andrea PI know Saturday is a busy day, but then staff the location accordingly. When I arrived one person was working the counter and there were several people already in line waiting. And the truck I was given to use was not in great shape. The engine was struggling to shift gears. Luckily I did not have far to go.
JENNIFER KIt took me almost 2 full hours to pick up my truck, even though I had a reservation. Not enough staff and the staff that was there was pretty incompetent

JORJAN WDespite reservation, the truck was all the way behind the building caked in snow and ice. Gas quite low. Window handle missing so unable to roll down window. Loose steering. Not road worthy.

DENNIS SI would like to see automatic mirrors, and windows in the trucks, but not a big deal.
Nicholas OI had two challenges that were not really related to this location. They did a great job. First challenge is the U-Haul app would not allow pictures of the vehicle before a began the rental. I even tried to take pictures outside of the app and then upload them but it did not work. In this case it was not an issue as the exterior was fine. The app did allow pictures upon check-in. The second challenge is the lock included on the tailgate was frozen and I was not able to lock the truck's storage area when dropping it off after hours and using the mobile check-in. I was nervous about leaving both a utility and regular dolly back there, along with a pack of blankets.
BRIAN JTruck was left very dirty. Inside the truck there was trash left from previous users! The console was very stained. When driver truck there was load noise coming from the engine or transmission. The driver side window doesn’t close all the way. The wiper blades need to be changed hard to see at times. Back of the truck had trash and serval what looks like blood stains on the walls.
TERRANCE WReplace the straps that hold the car down to the tow dolly. Came lose on me and where damaged the ends which made it hard to get into the ratcheting portion on the trailer to tighten them down.
KURT MI was handed a key and told the truck was “in the back”. After finding the truck and getting in I luckily looked at my phone before driving off because there was a link with info to fill out which I was not aware of. The staff was very friendly, maybe just new and learning! This was the 3rd stop I made to get a truck that morning so far better experience then the other 2 pick up locations that didn’t have a key or person present to give one.

enri mvehicle smelt like someone had smoked dope in it. The tires were not good in the snow, we rented in Michigan and Michigan has winters. Don't get me wrong the truck worked and did what I needed. I will use Uhaul again when it is needed. But, you asked so I am giving honest feedback.

Kurt SConsider adding jacks to your trailers to make it easier for customers to detach them from their trailer hitch. I rented a 6X12 recently and had considerable difficulty lifting it off, even with help from my 21-year-old son. It was after hours, so I had to pull it home and drop it off the next day. The staff were super chill about it, by the way, which I greatly appreciated!
LAWRENCE RTrailer had a minimal amount of trash left in it by the previous rental. It would have been nice if it was clean. Would have taken 20 seconds to clear out.
BRETT EWe had to return to this location mid move, as we locked the truck cargo door and then didn’t have a key on the key ring given to unlock the door. This was very frustrating in the middle of a move. No apologies or anything from Uhaul.
ROBERT KThe trailer was parked in a way during pickup that I could not take the adequate pictures that were required but other than that the staff and ease of renting was beyond measure!
