Drop off location customer entrance is towards the back of the building but was not posted in the front. The lot was large enough to handle a few of the 26’ trucks and the employees were busy but helpful.

The next morning when I picked up the trailer I was asked again about the insurance and I said no I don’t want it. I was in a hurry to get on the road and trusted that my receipt would be correct. It was not. I was charged insurance. When I returned the trailer, I noticed the charge. I was told it was too late to refund the charge. Check your receipt before leaving with your rental.

TAMMY RI reserved a trailer at Nick's on highway 25 near my house, but when I arrived the trailer wasn't there. He sent me to Broad street. So why bother with a Reservation if it's not going to be there when you need it.
STEVEN PAdelina S. is the BEST! I had some difficulty with the car towing trailer's tire strap ratchet but she helped me resolve the issue with a smile the whole time. It'll be her approach to render customer that'll make me a return customer. Keeping her around would make the company do well.
MARK POne Saturday morning I came and couldn't get in. The sign said 5am but we couldn't get in till 9am when the office opened. Other than that everything was fine. Perfect price for the small amount I had.

CHRISTOPHER GThe truck was fine, and the staff members I interacted with at the location we all very friendly and helpful. But I have two negatives associated with this rental. (1) I made my reservation 2 weeks ahead and had a guaranteed reservation at a location in my town. Then, the day before my rental, the vehicle location was changed by U-Haul's system to a location farther away than my "guaranteed" location. That change increased my travel time, the number of miles U-Haul got to charge me for, and the amount of gas I burned. Planning ahead and having the guaranteed reservation didn't count for much. I think U-Haul could have given me a break on the milage charges since they made the location change, or offered to move the truck to where my reservation was. (2) The truck had 1/16 of a tank of gas in it when I picked it up. Certainly not enough to get to where I was going. So, I was already running later than I wanted due to the location change, and the first thing I had to do was go find a gas station! Very inconvenient! I also had to guess how much gas to put in the truck before driving to my destination, rather than replace the gas I had used. (Irritatingly, I ended up having to make a second stop for gas before returning the truck so it wouldn't be on empty for the next renter.) I was just not impressed that the truck had no gas in it.
Bryan AI was very impressed with the service of the workers although busy they greeted me upon entering the building and helped me size up my needs. I had originally reserved a 10 foot truck but determined a cargo van would suffice which essentially saved me money.

TONI SI am very happy with the staff at both in Augusta and remote staff. When I could get someone on the line, all were professional and helpful. The app is great in terms of scheduling and planning a move. Just a note to be aware of with the climate-controlled interior storage spaces: I had two storage spaces, each inside different climate controlled buildings. They were fairly priced, but heads up: the facilities are old, corridors are dark and many fluorescent bulbs were out. There was no lighting in the storage spaces themselves, and things were *dark*. Also be advised some corridors are pretty narrow (one can't get around another's cart).

I reserved a first floor unit online for one price, but was told it was actually isn’t on the first floor and it would be two units (i.e., split level). So instead of honoring that reservation price, I was told I could reserve a different unit that is actually on the first floor for nearly $50 extra per month. I was on a deadline to get my stuff stored and needed a first floor unit, so I was basically forced to accept that new price. With insurance I paid about $62 extra per month. I was supposed to be in a climate controlled building. There was a huge leak and it was humid. The woman manager at that time, assured me that the water was from a “heavy rain the day prior”, they were getting someone to patch the leak, and that my unit wouldn’t be affected. So I moved my stuff into the unit next to an exit door, took pictures and videos, as a precaution. Four months later, I’m moving out and my mover informed me that my unit had been burglarized. I’m in a different state, so I call to speak with a manager the next morning after my stuff arrived and could confirm missing items and to inquire about video surveillance footage. A different male manager, seemed defensive stating that there’s only cameras at the entrances and exits not the hallways. My unit was by an exit. Also, the day prior (on my move out day) I was told by that same manager that I would be receiving an email by the end of the day closing out my unit. I did not receive that email, so after I asked about the video surveillance and filing an insurance claim for my stolen items I asked about the email closing out my rental. He rudely informed me that he was on the hall my unit was on trying to check me out but since I requested to speak with a manager he was not able to complete the walkthrough. It’s not my fault that the male manager told me incorrect information the day prior. If he felt inconvenienced about speaking to a customer about their unit being burglarized, inquiring about video footage, and filing an insurance claim then maybe he should not be the manager at this location.

Also, the manager essentially revoked a promo code the app prompted me with for a free month of storage, costing me around $80. The manager is also constantly (I mean, constantly. While I was ON THE LINE, as well as while I was physically near here while she was showing me to the unit) on the phone with who I assume to be her significant other. Really really annoying and unprofessional.

Your General Manager thought I would be able to get it out, but it was and still is a pandemic in our country and it has affected everyone including me and my family as we lost or mother recently also and everything she had in another Uhaul facility as well under the same circumstances. I came back later and an additional 30 minute wait ensued. Finally I got moved in. There was no lock in the unit as promised. The access code didn’t work so they had to let me in manually. When I came back with a second load the gentleman working the evening informed me that I had to input my access code in two places The access door worked fine after that. Everything is fine now. The check in was not smooth though.

The last interactions were not so pleasant especially from the owner/ general manager of the facility. There is no reason to ask for so much personal information and then when asked why it's needed when all other information was given, the answer is "because that's the way it is". That's not a good reason to ask for something and when told there are no more things to give should be acceptable and you move on. I should not be then threatened to have to move out of my unit I just purchased and moved into because of this. Then speaking to the next person above that and get the same excuse is unacceptable. Your policy needs to be updated and your computers need to allow people using them to continue on without delay. Then after all of that be charged for 2 extra days of use of equipment when it was barely over 1 day is also unacceptable especially moving from another state and having to pack and travel.
