I Got a trailer last week and the guy was great. Went and made a reservation for another trailer and when I went in it was not there. There was another customer pissed that she also made a reservation online and that truck was not there either. I was told to call that afternoon and ask to talk with James. I called and was placed on hold with out me even getting a word in and I sat on the phone for 20 mins. Hung up and they did it again. Then they would not take my calls and went to a call center. They sent me to the scheduling people and I was placed on hold for another 20 mins before he just hung up on me. Called back again and that person transfered me to a store accross town and that just said we dont have trailers. I did not even tell him what trailer I was looking for. So I just drove back to the store about 6:50 to see if it was there for my 6PM reservation and nothing again. I get it the person renting it did not turn it back in. I left my number and james said he would call me first thing sunday morning when he got there at 9 if it was there. About 10 on sunday I just drove there for a 3rd time and the trailer was there
MICHAEL RLong line and slow to get help outside once I made it through the long line inside. Had a blowout on the trailer less that 50 miles into the trip. Tire was bald and worn and should have never been sent out. Shame on me for not performing a closer inspection upon pick up. Compliments to your roadside guy who had us back on the road in 1hr and 15 minutes from time of blowout.
LINDEY JUpon my return, I was told your servers were down and it seemed like chaos. Took forever to try to use the app to check back in. I understand computer issues are not something you can control, but you should really have better redundancy.

Harold GI was quoted $72 (including tax) and charge $180.00. I was supposed to pick up from a different location but found out when i got there that my location had changed without any warning. The quoted amount was for 24 hours due to the inconvenience. I asked for help at the actual Uhual location and was she was too busy to pull up my account. There was me and one other person there. Horrible customer service from the Uhual on Barnet Rd.
Reagan RThe tail lights on the trailer where attached/repaired with pop rivets that were to small for the existing hole and eventually rattled loose. I had to finish 2 days of travel repeatedly duck taping the lights in place so the remained visible.
JOSEPH SPlease spread out your trailers to different locations. When one has several and others have none. The 3 that were much closer to us did not have any to rent and this location had several.

RAMACHANDRAN RThe pick up was nice and easy. However, the drop off was chaotic. There were two agent checking in a number and trucks and were very overwhelmed. I ended up disconnecting the trailer and leaving it in the drive behind trucks waiting to be moved.

JEFFREY RReally wish someone would assist on pick up to insure mirrors are set and usable with customer prior to departure. Had to adjust by myself. Move mirror, walk around to get into driver seat, repeat until where I could see.
JOHN GUpon renting, learned the security keypad didn't recognize the unit's door was closed, which caused worry whether the alarm system even worked in the event of a break-in. Staff there then reassured me they would fix and notify me once repaired. Four days later - still no call, so I called to check. The clerk who answered (miryan?) mumbled her name, and said Regan wasn't in yet - and Eric was outside installing a hitch. She was less than interested in even taking down my number to have them call me - instead urging me to "just call back later" and "I'm too busy with other customers." This reflects poorly and fails to instill confidence in U-Haul's customer service ethos. Not a pleasant or reassuring start with this storage operation.

micheal eThis store is a HOT MESS!!! I ve been going to this location for several years and it was impeccable! There were trucks and trailers parked everywhere except in the ready area. I waited almost 20 minutes to return a trailer while 4 workers stared at a car carrier and ignored me. I could even get into the return lane because it was full of personal vehicles and returns.

Yarub MThis isn't necessarily about either of the locations. I picked up the trailer the evening before. Changing that part of the reservation was easy. The trailer was in excellent condition. I was told that I could drop off the trailer wherever I needed to. When I made the reservation, I purposely didn't select a location because I wasn't sure where I would drop it. Apparently the system selected a location miles away from my home and not anywhere close to where I unloaded the trailer and wanted to drop the trailer off. When I went to drop the trailer off, I was told there would be fee for dropping it off at the wrong location. I DIDN"T SELECT THE LOCATION THAT WAS ON THE RENTAL! I was told to call the 1-800 line and get the reservation changed. I sat for 30 minutes on hold and never got a response. The person at the dropoff location started the check-in to see what the penalty would be for drop-off there. It turns out it was only $3. The dropoff process is terrible. I shouldn't have to wait on hold for 30 minutes without an answer. It should be easy to choose any location to drop off. And the idea that someone else can determine where the trailer should go is absurd. I'm not at all happy about the way this rental ended.

RONALD RI rented a 10" box truck. The driver seat area was tiny. I have arthritis in my knees and getting in and out off the truck was painful. The passenger side mirror was very difficult to adjust. My need was for a short distance but on a longer trip that passenger side mirror would be very dangerous. On the positive side the truck worked well for my need. I called several days earlier than needed and the location assured me that there was availability of that size truck. I reserved on the morning I needed the truck. Good work.

WILLIAM HIt's a little annoying having to buy an adapter for the lights on the trailer. The adapter was a $1 more than the rental. Your equipment should have standard electrical connections.

I felt ashamed for allowing the payments for the unit to get so far behind, but the staff made me feel comfortable and were understanding of the situation. Will recommend Uhaul in the future because of my positive experience dealing with Justin particularly. In months/years prior, I had some not-so-positive interactions with a very condescending and unprofessional staff member who to my understanding was the manager, but I am not sure that individual is employed there anymore and I do not know his name. My positive experience with Justin has led me to give a favorable review. He conducted himself in a very respectful and professional manner and that was appreciated by me.

I was locked out of my storage in the cold with my son with no help from the general manager on giving me access to my unit. No cooperation or compassion from the unprofessional staff. The manager has his family hanging around the property during the day washing their personal vehicles and stuff. I was never granted access hours. I had to rearrange my work schedule just to access my stuff. Would NEVER use Uhaul in any way after this experience. Go to Public Storage

I had made a reservation for a specific unit but when I arrived they said they did not have any of that unit available. Thankfully I was able to get a suitable replacement on site, but my reservation was completely useless and made the process confusing. Also the cashier said that locks weren't provided so I bought one, but then one was in my unit when I opened it. Also I had asked about if I need to give a notice before I intend to vacate and they said I didn't, but then a sign inside the unit said I did need to do that. The process just has left me not very trusting of Uhaul because I cannot seem to get a straight or reliable answer on anything.

When i actually tried to move in my reservation was nowhere to be found and said there was a stipulation for moving from out of town- this was not stated in the advertisement and on the page that said all you had to do was rent a truck so the experience was very frustrating and inconvenient, since I planned my whole move around this. I would Have chosen another storage facility had I known this was the case

I spoke to management and staff about this, they seemed indifferent and the same lack of communication is most likely going to repeat itself again and again, costing customers time and money. SOLUTION: Post accurate access hours at storage entrance and update this locations webpage with hours of availability, including the option for 24-hour access. NONE of this is communicated at check-in.
