I Got a trailer last week and the guy was great. Went and made a reservation for another trailer and when I went in it was not there. There was another customer pissed that she also made a reservation online and that truck was not there either. I was told to call that afternoon and ask to talk with James. I called and was placed on hold with out me even getting a word in and I sat on the phone for 20 mins. Hung up and they did it again. Then they would not take my calls and went to a call center. They sent me to the scheduling people and I was placed on hold for another 20 mins before he just hung up on me. Called back again and that person transfered me to a store accross town and that just said we dont have trailers. I did not even tell him what trailer I was looking for. So I just drove back to the store about 6:50 to see if it was there for my 6PM reservation and nothing again. I get it the person renting it did not turn it back in. I left my number and james said he would call me first thing sunday morning when he got there at 9 if it was there. About 10 on sunday I just drove there for a 3rd time and the trailer was there

Long line and slow to get help outside once I made it through the long line inside. Had a blowout on the trailer less that 50 miles into the trip. Tire was bald and worn and should have never been sent out. Shame on me for not performing a closer inspection upon pick up. Compliments to your roadside guy who had us back on the road in 1hr and 15 minutes from time of blowout.

I was quoted $72 (including tax) and charge $180.00. I was supposed to pick up from a different location but found out when i got there that my location had changed without any warning. The quoted amount was for 24 hours due to the inconvenience. I asked for help at the actual Uhual location and was she was too busy to pull up my account. There was me and one other person there. Horrible customer service from the Uhual on Barnet Rd.

The tail lights on the trailer where attached/repaired with pop rivets that were to small for the existing hole and eventually rattled loose. I had to finish 2 days of travel repeatedly duck taping the lights in place so the remained visible.

Please spread out your trailers to different locations. When one has several and others have none. The 3 that were much closer to us did not have any to rent and this location had several.

The fact they charged me for an after hour fee was ridiculous . When I dropped the trailer off around before 5pm . I called customer service and all I did was get hung up on . I’m very disappointed.I had problems dropping of the trailer.

The pick up was nice and easy. However, the drop off was chaotic. There were two agent checking in a number and trucks and were very overwhelmed. I ended up disconnecting the trailer and leaving it in the drive behind trucks waiting to be moved.

Really wish someone would assist on pick up to insure mirrors are set and usable with customer prior to departure. Had to adjust by myself. Move mirror, walk around to get into driver seat, repeat until where I could see.

Upon renting, learned the security keypad didn't recognize the unit's door was closed, which caused worry whether the alarm system even worked in the event of a break-in. Staff there then reassured me they would fix and notify me once repaired. Four days later - still no call, so I called to check. The clerk who answered (miryan?) mumbled her name, and said Regan wasn't in yet - and Eric was outside installing a hitch. She was less than interested in even taking down my number to have them call me - instead urging me to "just call back later" and "I'm too busy with other customers." This reflects poorly and fails to instill confidence in U-Haul's customer service ethos. Not a pleasant or reassuring start with this storage operation.

This store is a HOT MESS!!! I ve been going to this location for several years and it was impeccable! There were trucks and trailers parked everywhere except in the ready area. I waited almost 20 minutes to return a trailer while 4 workers stared at a car carrier and ignored me. I could even get into the return lane because it was full of personal vehicles and returns.

This isn't necessarily about either of the locations. I picked up the trailer the evening before. Changing that part of the reservation was easy. The trailer was in excellent condition. I was told that I could drop off the trailer wherever I needed to. When I made the reservation, I purposely didn't select a location because I wasn't sure where I would drop it. Apparently the system selected a location miles away from my home and not anywhere close to where I unloaded the trailer and wanted to drop the trailer off. When I went to drop the trailer off, I was told there would be fee for dropping it off at the wrong location. I DIDN"T SELECT THE LOCATION THAT WAS ON THE RENTAL! I was told to call the 1-800 line and get the reservation changed. I sat for 30 minutes on hold and never got a response. The person at the dropoff location started the check-in to see what the penalty would be for drop-off there. It turns out it was only $3. The dropoff process is terrible. I shouldn't have to wait on hold for 30 minutes without an answer. It should be easy to choose any location to drop off. And the idea that someone else can determine where the trailer should go is absurd. I'm not at all happy about the way this rental ended.

I rented a 10" box truck. The driver seat area was tiny. I have arthritis in my knees and getting in and out off the truck was painful. The passenger side mirror was very difficult to adjust. My need was for a short distance but on a longer trip that passenger side mirror would be very dangerous. On the positive side the truck worked well for my need. I called several days earlier than needed and the location assured me that there was availability of that size truck. I reserved on the morning I needed the truck. Good work.

It's a little annoying having to buy an adapter for the lights on the trailer. The adapter was a $1 more than the rental. Your equipment should have standard electrical connections.

Manager Daniel M was the most helpful of the managers I interacted with at this location. Some of the employees were obviously new, undertrained but overall pleasant to work with. Very secure facilities and management was proactive to assure my confidence in their team. Parking and maneuvering through the property is a hassle but the location is convenient.

Overall, this facility is fine. However, it would really benefit from having an elevator. The stairs made it very challenging to move furniture in and out if your unit is located on the 2nd floor. No one mentioned this to me when we were reserving a unit. We didn’t find out until we had signed the paperwork and got over to the building, only to find out there were no elevators.

The manager Justin was awesome. I was in a bind. Needed something quickly (same day) and he was helpful and friendly. It was a very stressful move because of delays on the house completion and things were changing hourly. He was just the help I needed and really the only thing that went right that day. Great employee for U-haul!

For question 1 - the storage rooms were secure but not lit. Had to rely on outside light. These would be difficult to work in after dark (for the outdoor units). All in all, the process was smooth and the workers were very friendly and helpful. This site has it going on. Keep up the good work!

I appreciate the staff here for being incredibly friendly and accommodating of my situation. I felt ashamed for allowing the payments for the unit to get so far behind, but the staff made me feel comfortable and were understanding of the situation. Will recommend Uhaul in the future because of my positive experience dealing with Justin particularly. In months/years prior, I had some not-so-positive interactions with a very condescending and unprofessional staff member who to my understanding was the manager, but I am not sure that individual is employed there anymore and I do not know his name. My positive experience with Justin has led me to give a favorable review. He conducted himself in a very respectful and professional manner and that was appreciated by me.

Initially the rep booked me in for an secure inside location on the second floor. Unfortunately due to my serious health issues and the fact that I was doing the labor myself. I knew there was no way I would be able to get my stuff up the stairs. I explained my condition & asked if there was availability on the 1st floor. There wasn't. So I asked if there was an outside unit available. There was. So the rep happily transferred me to an outside unit. Which I appreciated.

The signage all states access hours but they fail to tell you that everyone is only given access during office hours unless you special request it. I was locked out of my storage in the cold with my son with no help from the general manager on giving me access to my unit. No cooperation or compassion from the unprofessional staff. The manager has his family hanging around the property during the day washing their personal vehicles and stuff. I was never granted access hours. I had to rearrange my work schedule just to access my stuff. Would NEVER use Uhaul in any way after this experience. Go to Public Storage

Absolutely appreciated all the team did here to help us. The manager made available the only storage unit left that could fit my belongings. The unit had just been vacated so he went out there and made sure it was clean and ready for me to use. Our move-in experience was very positive. Everything was as advertised so there were no surprises. We realized the unit we had selected on the 2nd floor was too small, but Norvell quickly switched us to a larger unit. Then Norvell and Patrick went the extra mile and helped us move the larger items from our 2nd floor unit down to our larger first floor rental. They were very kind and helpful. I highly recommend this facility .

Lots of confusion when acquiring my unit. I had made a reservation but when I got there they said they did not have the very unit I had reserved. Thankfully another unit was available. There was also mixed communication on the cancelation process with how the sign within the unit gave different information.

The process was confusing and the staff gave me different information than had been provided by the website. I had made a reservation for a specific unit but when I arrived they said they did not have any of that unit available. Thankfully I was able to get a suitable replacement on site, but my reservation was completely useless and made the process confusing. Also the cashier said that locks weren't provided so I bought one, but then one was in my unit when I opened it. Also I had asked about if I need to give a notice before I intend to vacate and they said I didn't, but then a sign inside the unit said I did need to do that. The process just has left me not very trusting of Uhaul because I cannot seem to get a straight or reliable answer on anything.

They chose to over charge me and instead of correcting the mistake they chose to make up a different reason. I herd 5 different reason. I was told I would qualify for a free month over the phone with a U-Haul employee and I made sure to call and make a reservation to make sure I qualified. When i actually tried to move in my reservation was nowhere to be found and said there was a stipulation for moving from out of town- this was not stated in the advertisement and on the page that said all you had to do was rent a truck so the experience was very frustrating and inconvenient, since I planned my whole move around this. I would Have chosen another storage facility had I known this was the case

Had to rent van for another day, un expected expense, because the access hours at the facility were not clearly communicated. I spoke to management and staff about this, they seemed indifferent and the same lack of communication is most likely going to repeat itself again and again, costing customers time and money. SOLUTION: Post accurate access hours at storage entrance and update this locations webpage with hours of availability, including the option for 24-hour access. NONE of this is communicated at check-in.

Very old facility. Interior storage unit hallways were tight and difficult to get anything of size in to the unit. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly though.

Everything was great until I had 3 large boxes full of mouse droppings and things chewed upon of which there was no food stored in the storage room . Such an awful feeling not to know what was clean!

The staff were helpful, but the storage unit facility was not cool, the temperature read 94 degrees, but the thermostat was set to 72. Had to find another location that was really climate controlled

Had a run in with one of the shop guys . There are no signs for employee parking and storage parking. It was handled by the it was very nice. The storage room always seemed warmer than they said.

I finally cleaned out and gave up the storage unit that my mother had for years. The staff was always nice and the place was safe and secure. I rented a truck and that was easy too. Thanks!
