Very nice counter people. Easy to deal with. Friendly
I told them that I had paid for moving pads and such and asked what could be done about it.. they said nothing. I have to go back to the website or to the Marina where I picked up my truck and get my money back from them.
The customer service at not only this U-Haul location but two others in the vicinity has made for a very positive and enjoyable experience. I still have several trailer rentals coming up and have no doubt they will be great experience's.
Registered online picked up trailer did the job and back the same day ,dropped it off . Excellent
1) the moving van we rented seemed like the tires (or something else?) were way out of balance at highway speeds. Since this was a short move for us and mostly on surface streets, it was OK for our move, but, moving for a long trip and freeway speeds would have been rough on the vehicle and on me. 2) The online iPhone App and Browser app for the PC were awkward to use and I had to enter things over and over to get things right. I had selected a Moving Helper which turned out to be unavailable (or no longer working for Uhaul?) but I was not notified until checkout so I had to go back through the browser app to get the help I needed. Both the movers and the people at the UHaul location did not seem to know what about the information I had already put into the order online. I had to scan my driver's license 2 times; once, before I picked up the rental van and once at the Uhaul office. That seems redundant to me. If doing that twice is normal, it should be explained better. Overall, I would say that Uhaul's technology and people training is not at all in sync. Please note that I am just trying to help.
Was charged for a Dolly not requested they had a padlock on the vehicle that was not taken off and so when we left the location we could not open the truck. Wrong key was given just a mess all around
Very courteous and professional. Work to keep me as a customer.
My comment has to do with the truck I rented. I felt that the rear bumper could be more user friendly. My task included climbing into and out of the bed of the truck and the bumper has a very small footprint exposed when the tailgate is down. I feel it could easily have slipped, or missed the step and fallen. I didn't, but I felt it was something that could easily happen to someone not familiar with pickups, or was in a hurry.
Originally had a reservation for a 26" - changed to a 20". However, I believe on the original reservation - I had the ability to return the truck before the close of business the next day, but on the new reservation it was changed to 11am, and I was not notified of this. Consequently I was charged an extra $60 for a full day when I really was only a few hours over the return time. I would like a full/Partial refund of this amount as it was not communicated and not applicable to a full day.
Very quick and efficient service. I had messed up my online reservation and the associate inside helped me and had me in a truck very quick.
Julie was fantastic!
The actual pickup location (8710 Burnet Rd in Austin, TX) was actually fine, except they did not put the dolly and furniture pads that I had reserved in the truck, so I did not have those needed items when I moved, but they were very helpful and reversed those charges afterward. The original pickup location on the reservation (4021 N Interstate 35 in Austin, TX) did not have the equipment that I reserved. They sent me to the other location (Burnet Rd) to get it. Since this was a one-way rental, I had rented a car to drop off near the original pickup location, so I ended up having to take an Uber from the rental car dropoff location to the new pickup location, which cost me an additional $30.
Let customer know they need to be at the location when doing the return to be able to scan bar code and show them where the box to put keys in incase they decide later to return after hours.
This location was busy but when we were attended we were treated very well. Everything was explained well. The van we rented was great. Julia was very professional.
Better/more help at return
Excellent and prompt service. Staff was friendly and very accommodating.
Jessie was the expert tow hitch attachment guy and great to talk to and help me make the decision to get one. Mason was excellent as initial person to help answer my initial questions about getting a Uhaul. Norvelle the manager was excellent and helpful rescheduling an appointment time and with hooking up the Uhaul. I have other Uhaul's by my house about 10 miles away. But my intuition led me to use this one because of its location and that it is always busy. And I've been treated exceptionally well at every point. This will be my store for future needs. Thank you!
The staff was friendly, professional and on time. Great Service!
Charged me $20 as an after hours fee. I unhitched trailer myself as I have done many other times on Christmas day
Customer service was beyond horrible and unacceptable. I have no idea how she can have a customer service job. I got charged more than double for my rental and still had to deal with their attitude. Will never use uhaul and will never recommend to go to any uhaul. By far the worst experience I had ever had as a customer at any place. Terrible place.
Extremely satisfied with the customer service received.
Great communication and customer service. Price is reasonable, thank you!
The website made online check-in perfectly easy
