The computer system was down and many people were there waiting. The staff was very friendly and they were doing their best, but there was nothing they could do. They couldn't verify reservations and there seemed to be nothing they could do. They couldn't provide my furniture pads and dolly because they couldn't see the record to my reservation because the system wasn't working, so I had to leave without them. I was still charged for them, and will be contacting u-haul for a refund of those charges.
Colin FEquipment was not clean, however it was cleaned after being asked to. Service was pleasant overall.

ALLISTARE DStaffing was friendly and extremely helpful when I used the QR code to get started on my reservation. They also answered all of my questions on how to use the app.
ROBERT GI had to Jerry rig the equipment to get my vehicle safely to the sight. The equipment hasnt had maintenance in years. Rusted rachet straps for retaining the wheels of the vehicle on the carrier. It took me 6 hours travel time due to not being able to secure my vehicle properly. I have pictures that I can share. I'm going to call about a refund or a credit for the equipment due to poor maintenance. If they had put WD40 or GAA grease it would had have helped a little. That piece of equipment hasn't been maintained in years. If you are paying a mechanic, he or she should be fired. I ran against shop in the military and never allowed equipment to go to customers as such. They have no pride in their uniforms for work or the equipment they send out the door. Just shabby to say the very least.

Corey A | Online Move InMy biggest and only issue was with the self pick up. It was not easy to retrieve my vehicle at 1 o’clock in the morning. Why does U haul offer a 24 hour service, if there is no one available to even speak to if something goes wrong. Also, there should be Wi-Fi available outside of the building if we are required to use our phone for such a lengthy check out process before retrieving the key. I am totally Appalled by this process, and I will never use this feature again. The time it took me to retrieve my vehicle was unacceptable, I was outside in the cold at 1 AM for nearly an hour. I am not pleased about this transaction at all.

ERROL MEliminate the virtual check-in. It was a horrible process. I chose to do in-person, yet upon arrival I had to do the virtual check-in anyway. It was not smooth nor effective and just created frustration. Allow the employees to don their job and treat customers with dignity, which machines cannot do.

Jaime JThe truck was clean but the tire pressure light was on. We asked the gentleman to put air in the tires but he could not get the machine to inflate. Instead, the tires deflated 10lbs from 56 to 46. Unfortunately, there wasn't another van. That's unacceptable. All four tires had different numbers. When they cleaned the truck, earlier they should have inflated the tires. No customer should be driving off the lot with tire or engine lights on.

ELLIS SGrounding problem downstairs. Said several time about it to the management but nothing was ever down about it. I had problems before Christmas getting in was repeatedly told is my card even though it was the reader. After New Years asked does the code I was given work to get in and was told yes. When the snow storm hit here I tried to go get my stuff and the code didn't work... Tried calling ALL numbers posted at the site and no one answered me back. One more thing is that the employees park their personal vehicles at the loading site so there many times there is no room there. VERY poorly managed site!!

Cynthia AIt has been a long and bitter sweet time, well spent with our storage experience. Since 2020 and the passing of my dear younger sister, most of her valuable and unique furniture and items were stored at your facility. Over those 4 years the condition, temperature and lack of any rodent or outside damage has proven sustainable. It is as though the time stood still as we unwrapped and place the items after being at your facility so long. We look at our received service as an investment and the professional packers and movers we had combined with the professional clean and convenient location, was a great combination. We look at your facility as more that just storage, but like entrusting to care for precious memories. Thank you! Though we paid a pretty collective penny it was well worth the joy and peace to be able to have healed and moved to a place to incorporate our love ones property in its entirety.

Their system always seems to have an issue so if the office is closed and your denied access because of the system, it's frustrating. Times where I would try to access my storage after the office closed (my payment was never the issue.) I feel like there should always be a person (remotely) to allow access to the storage in case their system is failing. It's very inconvenient to not have access and no one can do anything about it until the store opens next day. Then the compensation I feel given to me after experiencing this several times didnt make up for their mistake. Overall, my experience there for 4 years wasn't horrible, i just think customer service could be better when they're an inconvenience to the customers. Also phone presence could be a lot better.

I was misinformed and misdirected to my vehicle which took almost 40 minutes from the time that I should have been moving. I did not leave until after 3pm because she gave me the wrong key and did nothing to verify that the key matched the truck. She kept directing me to where the vehicle should have been and did not walk me out once I told her that I did not see the truck. -Everyone else was helpful and courteous throughout the move-in. Brandon's customer service was exceptional. -I saw a roach, fly and possibly fleas near the storage unit. The facility was clean otherwise. The carts may need to be sprayed down, as well as the aisles on the lower level.

I then had to have a representative (Giovanni) assist me with getting another uhaul storage location. He was great he was the only thing that deserves 5 stars in this process. The link I received for the new location to complete the check in said that I didn't have a reservation which I did. The app didn't work at all for online processes. Eventually I was able to move my stuff in. Then I wasn't even able to turn my uhaul truck to the new location because it was after hours. I had to take the uhaul truck to where I originally requested. I honestly feel like uhaul owes me some miles for the inconvenience.

For example during my check out process there was only one rep assisting customers at the desk. While he was checking me out of my unit, he was assisting multiple customers on the phone (customers called to pay their bill) and he was assisting customers behind me. I explained to him that I am paying movers by the hour and needed for him to complete my out check out process more efficiently; to my amazement the rep continued helping other customers. As a result I wasted approximately 40 mins and left unhappy.

No explanation of where my unit is located. Employees vehicles parked in the loading dock restricting access to the parking to unload for storage units. And so, being given another size of storage in less than three months, it worsened! I want compensation for all the time and money lost because of U-Haul’s negligence!

They both explained U-Haul’s Policies to me very explicitly and answered all my questions I had since this was my first time ever renting a Storage Unit from U-Haul. One evening after Office Hours, I was at the Property on Central Avenue where my Storage was located and I could not board the Elevator to go to the second floor. It appeared to be stuck or either other Clients/Customers was blocking the Elevator from moving. I waited 20 minutes then I noticed there was an after hours phone number posted on the wall with the GM’s Cellphone number listed ( Corey Weaver’s # ). I dialed his number and he immediately picked it up and identified himself as the GM and related to him how I am Disabled and needed the use of the Elevator but it was not working. Mr. Weaver said give him about 10 minutes and that he would drive back to the U-Haul location and investigate what was going on with the Elevator. I said Great and that I would be standing right in front of the Elevator when he arrived. Another 5 minutes pasted and the Elevator Opened with 2 Men got off with loaded Carts of Furniture. So, it appeared these 2 Men was blocking the Elevator with their Furniture until they finished loading up the Elevator with their items. Out of courtesy, I made another telephone call to Mr. Corey Weaver, as he was driving back into U-Haul to let him know that I was finally able to board the Elevator and told him what the problem was. Mr. Weaver thanked me for letting him know and then the rest of the evening retrieving my items from my Storage Unit went Perfect! I will let other Family and Friends know how accommodating U-Haul Storage Facility is and how U-Haul will go the “Extra Mile” for it’s Clients/Customers!! She showed me to my storage space, but never mentioned that I needed a code to enter. She complained the entire time that she was helping me. Several times I went to the storage space and never needed a code to enter; I just walked through the door. Anyone could do the same, there was no security as far as accessing the store area. My move-out process was completely different. The young lady (Jasmine) was very helpful and professional.

Ndikum T | First ImpressionsI rented my unit for several years and for the most part, my experience was not bad, sometimes the employees could be a little rude however, I found it interesting that on my move out day after closing my account with the manager (Cory Weaver), and receiving my receipt from him, I made the comment to him "it might be nice for you to thank me for my year's of service", he looked at me like I had three heads and kept doing what he was doing, not saying a single word. I thought to myself, WoW!!! So, just keep in mind, decent place, not the world's greatest customer service.

I will have to launder all my blankets, comforters, bedspreads, and clothing. I'm not happy with that at all, because it will just be an added expense for me. A female and male employees said they would clean out the unit because there were a lot of droppings on the floor. I'm hoping I won't find holes in my items!! I wouldn't recommend anyone to store things at your facility for those reasons.
