The site itself was fine. 1. It was one hour in the wrong direction from where I had placed the pick up order which added 2 hours to my move - plus an additional hour because I got into rush hour traffic around New York City which I would have avoided if I hadn’t had the 2 hour delay to start. 2. The vehicle was clean, but the air conditioner did not work.

Was charged $7 for a dolly and the dolly was not provided. Called & spoke w/Diamond and informed her that the dolly was not in the truck when I picked it up she said she would note that on my account so I would receive a refund, but they charged me for it anyway....this is the worst U-Haul location EVER!!!!

The truck was clean, however it had a bad smell to it. I brought it to Corey's attention, who offered me another truck but I had an appointment and couldn't wait to be switched out. The location is very nice, professional staff and well maintained. On Saturday's there should be more personnel on staff, there's always a wait of more then fifteen minutes in my experience .

The staff were friendly but, the truck was filthy and had serious transmission issues. Didnt even complete my move. When I called, they directed me to an online site to email my issues... roadside?!? I just returned the truck. Never again.

Johnice was wonderful! Absolutely wonderful. However the facility is kept nasty. There were rat dripping all over the unit I was moving into and a mouse dead outside of the unit. Johnice assured she'd have it handled by time I got back as she was maintaining the register and handling customers . When we came back, the rat was still there and the drippings and trash. I went to the counter to speak with her and she made it all right and better for me. Uhaul needs to do better with having cleaned grounds, pulling trash, and keep storage areas safe, and cleaned. My experience was not good but the customer service I received from johnice was smoothed over.

My experience at the central ave location in Capital Height was one of the worse days of my life I started out the day going to pick up my truck that I had reserved the before the attendant told me at 9;00am my vehicle was not here and he told me to come back in 2 hrs I returned and the attendant said my vehicle is still not back and I must wait an additional 3 hrs when I returned for the 3rd time the truck had not yet returned finally the Genral Mannager Corey Weaver gave me another truck smaller than the truck I originally reserved This made my moving day a 3 day event that costs me more money than I entended on spending and more work because of the several trip due to having a smaller truck this experience has made me so angry I welcome the opportunity to give a comment I hope this Mercer happens to anyone else. I rent trucks/vans from this location at least 4 times a year to safely store household items while I do renovations inside my townhouse. The staff is great! They are always professional and pleasant. I never use anyone else!
