RAYMOND PYour IT director needs to focus on the system slowdown. It took about 30 minutes to complete the transaction, which should have only taken 2 or 3 minutes.

Jason QWe drive to the move site and find No Dolly in the truck. Which I paid extra for. I put exactly 7 miles on the odometer and was charged $15 extra for fuel. I had made a reservation on line ahead of time, and the rental procedure still took 30 minutes. We were the only customer. They said they didn’t have the size truck available we needed so we had to pay 30% More for a truck whose size we didn’t need or want. Truly a terrible move experience.

Xzenthia DVery nice, friendly, and helpful. The facility, compared to other U-Haul locations I’ve patronized, was well outfitted. The storefront was very organized with many moving products available and on display. The property was large enough to make trailer hookups and navigating in and out driving easy, There was only one person working there during my visit, with several customers waiting. An additional helper would’ve made my process faster.

Brenda HTo improve for next customer is to extra person working because my reservation was at 9am. When I arrived it was 8:48am. It was busy. The lady at front was extremely nice with a pleasant attitude and excellent customer service; however she had to do everything. I didn't get waited on until maybe about 9:25am. Overall the experience was great.

LUCAS NLet me first say that the Lancaster Location was a great help. They helped make a terrible experience a little better. My pickup was supposed to be at 12pm. an agent put it at 12AM. So when my familiy member arrived to pick the truck up, it wasnt available. There was no trucks available for the same price that I had rented one for so I had to do a new agreement which ended up costing way more than my original reservation was for and was supposed to be returned by 8am. Then mover was scheduled for 1:30pm. He called me and let me know he would be late because he was working another job. he called me 3 hrs later after 3pm and told me he would be coming but he had to leave early to pick up his daughter. when he showed up, he was alone because his other person didnt show up. he didnt have a dolly and told me i was supposed to have it. (No one told me I had to have a dolly for a hired mover) so he and my family members moved 3 or 4 heavy items onto the truck without the dolly and then he left to pick up his daughter. he told my family he would return afterward. He called me for the payment code and I gave it to him thinking he would come back and finish later. He stayed less than an hour by himself and didnt not deserve full pay. Me and my family members had to finish packing the entire truck alone. There was no way we could have it packed in enough time to return the truck by 8am. I called the truck location to let them know we had to have the truck for extra time. They gave us till 2pm. Then when I arrived at the storage facility, the storage area was too small for what i needed. I had to get a different size, they didnt have the mid size so I had to rent a storage way more based on what was available. The Second Mover said he could be there at 11am on 5/4/24. I text him advising we had arrived at 11:10am. He said he finishing overtime 1.3 miles away and would be right there after. He never showed so me and 2 of my family members started moving things on our own. At some point, the second mover text me saying, "I just sent you a code so we can reschedule your move for the afternoon so crews can know that it's still available: what's the verification code you just received? I text him back advising when I didnt hear from you, I had to get some other help. I paid a deposit of $269.95 for the move (which i was told later was for the movers, I had to pay $236.74 for the storage unit up front and $214.34 for the truck rental. My original quote was for around $545. it was the worst moving experience i've every had. My family and I are still recovering from doing most of the moving ourselves and my bank account has truly suffered. I had called outside movers first and found that i would save a little over $100 going with Uhaul. I ended up paying way more than I expected due to all the problems I had.
