EDUARDO RI’ll like to put 0 ⭐️ I rented a truck originally from 3015 Plaza Cir Port Arthur Tx I was supposed to get a code so I can pick up the key but the app or the website never worked. I spent almost an hour with a UHAUL Representative over the phone and she couldn’t get no code at all. So she said my only option at that point is to rent a truck at this location 👇🏼 8161 Eastex Frwy Beaumont, TX (30 mins away) I agreed because I had 4 guys waiting for me to start the moving process. When they start my reservation at the new location I requested to return the truck at my local UHAUL store, they said Yes but the price will increase. Originally I supposed to pay less then $75 for 1 day rental, insurance and 60 miles. Well, they ended up charging 154.28 for returning to the local UHAUL. The employee mentioned I’ll be getting a refund if I return the truck earlier and if I use less then the 60 miles I paid for. I wasn’t happy at all but at that point 3 hrs had passed by, so I said OK 😒😒😒 The contract had marked the gas level at more than half a tank when it was exactly at 1/2 tank, I took a pic and showed it to the employee and she marked the contract as 1/2 tank and said don’t worry about it. I supposed to return the truck today 02/10/25 at 1:00 pm but I returned it las night at 7:00 (18 hrs before) I also use 18 miles less then the 60 miles I paid for and returned it with 1/2 tank. What a surprise today at 1:00 pm I got an email closing my contract and details of my receipt and they ended up charging me a total of $245.13 They charge an extra 90+ for dropping off at a different location when they’ve already charged double of the regular price for that same reason. I spoke to a supervisor over the phone at the local UHAUL office and she did absolutely nothing but said that they MIGHT be able to refund me for the extra miles and gas they charged me since I told her a have pics to prove them wrong, but they would not refund anything for the TRIPLE CHARGES they ended up charging of a regular rental for one day (6 hrs to be exact) 😡😡😡😡

Barry HI reserved a van with my debit card. It was not allowed to complete the transaction with said bank card. It was required to complete the transaction with a credit card thereby depriving me of my selected reservation.

She bushed it off when I thought she said while the vehicle was being loan to me however much you put it if it’s more will come back to you.

No one loves to move, but they played an important part in making this piece of the puzzle a success. Dominic, the GM, is building a great team at this location.
Eric GThis location is always the best. Literally. The staff there is top notch. Always jumping to help. Never lazy. Never have to ask for help. It’s a far cry from the other locations. Everyone always seems like they are hating life. Not at this location. This location is like a cool breeze on an 80 degree Texas December day. Everyone needs a raise.
christie lI had a reservation for noon. I had to wait until 1:00 in the Uhaul location as the person prior to me had not returned the truck yet. This is not the first time this has happened to me, and Uhaul as a whole should come up with a better system for ensuring the truck is there when requested. As a result of waiting I was stuck in traffic on my moving journey. Additionally; the trucks was very loud and old. Uhaul should look into revamping their truck fleet. On a positive note, Returning the truck to this location the employees were very helpful and supportive.

SCHERKETHA JI rented a uhaul and it was stolen. I paid for the insurance that as advertised states it covers if the uhual gets stolen. Nothing was covered and I now owe uhual a ton of money and am unable to rent one. This caused me a great deal of issues considering I was in the middle of moving.

CHRISTOPHER PStaff could be ready to answer phone calls; and when they finally do, don't act like you are placing them on hold, but actually transfer them to a call center.... That is non-professional and rude. Also, when a customer come in to do a counter service; do not act as though it is irritating you. I have been a very long customer with Uhaul (over a decade); and I feel some things are just unacceptable for any business. Everyone wants to be treated respectfully and fair!
GERALD STell customers ahead time that CREDIT CREDIT CARDS that's the only way you can reserve a CARGO VAN instead of DEBIT CARDS. People reserve a vehicle to get things done timely. People look and reserve Moving people and schedule movers according to your WEBSITE. YOUR COMPANY ON EASTEX FREEWAY has good people working there. And in my opinion the company puts them there to be the barrier of bad news. COMPANY OWNERS are not there to take the heat.

The general manager would not pro-rate and give me some of the rent back. They should help out people that don't make a lot of money from work. It was dark, and the wiper wasn't wiping the rain away. It was scratching the window. It was late, and we had to wait 2 hours for the roadside assistant guy to even find a replacement wiper blade.

They come out in the daylight that’s something. I had some other bad experiences which I have shared each time with you. My honest opion is that I should have been compensated for some of what I went through. I finally left because after my stuff got wet ( your ceiling needs fixing, anyone can see that)., I moved to another storage I was charged a higher price than my previous one after I specifically asked that I be out in one the same price. I can say that the manager was always kind when I spoke with him. I’m not going to continue on with anything bad. Things need to change though. People look for resolutions not I’m sorry. On a good note, that young lady who helped us yesterday was amazing!!! I watched her as she did her work she just was so wiling and happy to do it. She was so nice her customer service surpasses any I have seen in recent years! Because of her I have hope for uhaul. She has a joy as she works she was cleaning out the trailer and I could see her joy! Lance the physical place needs work! I do appreciate your kindness. Below average because of the facilities!!!

Basically the whole storage unit had molded and mildewed. Although I bought all kinds of DampRid moisture observer that was recommended buy A AHaul manager who assist assisted me. I tool out an insurance policy that also was also recommended by the same UHual manager! Bad part about it! USUALLY said they are not responsible for the damages on all the items in the storage! Wtf! How sorry of an establishment! I WILL #NEVER TELL NOR REFER ANYONE TO UHaul! I am hiring my lawyer on this one! Bet that!

I made a reservation at your Milam and eastern location 2 weeks before move and went to confirm, they had no units available in the 10x25. Did another reservation through corporate offices, went there this past Saturday and no reservation for me, even though both reservations were confirmed with a reservation number. Last minute I had to rent 2 units at the eastex location. The experienced was horrible. The Milam st location needs some serious help both in staff, attitude and organization. The Eastex location were wonderful. Took them only about 15 minutes to get me the units.

Not only did I get countless late fees added to my account even though they told me every month they would move my payments to the first, and the employees were rude every single time I tried to speak with them, but we also now have roaches in all of our moving boxes. On top of that, I paid and cancelled my storage June 1st and was given until the end of the month to get my stuff, but They put a lock on my storage and tried saying I couldn’t get my stuff until I paid for July 1st. The only thing that saved Uhaul’s reputation for me was the corporate customer service that helped me get my money back and were so kind to me, and dedicated to help my experience be better.
