DAMON MILLERThis location could use a few more agents on a busy Saturday morning. It took me 30+minutes to get my truck after reserving it online. My truck was ok except for a broken headlight and a clearance light that was dangling out of its mounting hole. These items should have been repaired before this unit was rented.

Ralph EllisThe guy that checked me in all but rewrote my entire reservation. I had the return address and all of my info already in the system a week prior, but still had to go through the process again. This took time i did not have to spend there. After re-entering all of my information, I received emails stating that my reservation changed and the dropoff location was different. I did not change anything from my original reservation. The guy that changed everything was unfortunately not trained very well and barely could put the order in. The worst part was he gave me a truck with no gas!!! He informed me that any extra gas that i returned it with, i would just get reimbursed for. We will NOT use uhaul in the future for any reason if we can help it. By far the WORST customer service i have EVER come across while doing business.

Can't get it at 9 when you don't open til 9. I was under the impression that I needed to be there early to get out by 9. I was there at 8:40 am. He met me outside and told me they didn't open till 9. He got an attitude cause I questioned it. His attitude was bad from the word go.

Joy RobinsonI arrived within 15 minutes of my pick up time, unfortunately there was only one person at the counter which it took 15 minutes with the customer at the counter and another 15-20 minutes with the customer ahead of me. Then I was attended and everything was smoother, until I went out to the truck and started to do the inspection, that’s when I noticed I wasn’t giving the right paperwork. Went inside and they changed the paperwork to reflect the correct truck. Finally, I get to depart and be on my way and 15 minutes into my drive I noticed the brake light was on and making a noise. So, I had to return to the store! At this point I told the gentleman at the counter to give me a smaller truck so I could get going, so he did and direct me towards where the truck was supposed to be parked. Sadly it wasn’t there and I had to search the entire parking lot for it! The location and size of the facilities are good, but the employees need to pay more attention to detail and be more customer oriented.
Ivan LopezReservation # 22010287 Hey there. I reserved a van for 2:15. Upon arrival to the U-Haul & storage center, there were no employees, and about 6 customers all waiting around. I waited until 2:45 for an employee to show up, to help the customers in front of me. As I was signing in, i mentioned there were no vans in the parking lot. He was unsure of the availability, so called someone. He transferred my reservation to a 10’ cargo van.. asked me if I wanted the $15 safe ride insurance I said “NO, just the damage waiver”.. Yet here I am, charged for the safe ride insurance. This, along with the 45+ minute wait, and confusion about which rentals were on the lot.. (after checking in online!) Gotta say, one of the most poorly managed facilities I’ve ever been in. How much money does this location make? How much do you pay the circus act to run it? I’ve been to this location before and the experience is similar. Other customers that day said “it’s always like this here” Anyway. My day job is business operations for a startup. Let me manage this location and I will surely fix the staffing issues and inventory issues, with reduced overhead to U-Haul. I will probably never go back to this location, it is much easier faster and professional to get a U-Haul from a neighborhood dealer or gas station Kindly, Walter Brent

When prompt on my phone screen to show agent inside I followed those instructions & she ask me for drivers license & credit card for charges after showing her what truck I'm assigned too then after I refused to give her my credit card because I completed all requirements online she states well I will just cancel your reservation. I went to my car and she met me outside and stated she can't locate the key to the truck I'm assigned too. I requested a manager & the next agent working other customer stated that truck was rented out this morning at 7 am & was told from there to call customer service to reserve another truck which was confusing because the truck was still on the lot waiting on me to do online inspection. I wasted 30 extra minutes on this issue. Please train your agents on customer service & updated information with systems. Also while the lady was on the phone telling me to escort out her building she tells the other party on the phone please hurry up with the key so this cry baby customer can leave now and then turns around after walking back in without even telling me who was finally bringing my key to me.

The driver side window had to be pulled up by hand and it was hot out. The staff were nice and walked me through the storage. We were given keys to truck and had to figure it out. I picked up a load from Bellaire Rd and returned to the store. There was a little less than 1/4 tank of gas. I put $20 in it just to feel safe. Trip was so short the hand didn't move down. Trip made and items in storage. It was very busy at the time and they seemed short staffed too.

Wrong size storage unit rented, manger on duty Melvin Boseman was very unprofessional while unpacking storage unit. He even went as far as threatening to call the police on me for no reason. He was aggressive and very disrespectful. An employee by the name of Tremaine Lee was in attendance while Mr. Boseman hot out of control. After I told him his staff wasn’t trained good enough no cards on site and I wasn’t properly informed about my unit or the access. I addressed that and he got upset. I will not use this facility nor will I refer anybody to use this facility. The level of unprofessionalism that was reached a man trying to handle a woman. Come on now that’s disrespectful because I was in the right. He makes the company look bad

If there was any time you couldn’t pay or was late they gave no grace period and would lock you out of your unit with no notice. And it took a act of congress to get there lock taken off even if you were caught up on payments. Yes I will use the trucks but I will not use the storage again.

The security system does not work well and has system issues regularly. I was offered a free month for my inconvenience, but I would not store here again. The management is good but I do not have faith in most of the locations employees to be able to full assist me. Overall not a bad location. Just would not store there again.

Came back the next day to be reimbursed and no manager available. Had to make a third trip to finally reach someone to give me a lock. I then had to go to the other Uhaul location to get a refund. Unacceptable and poor customer service. Could not reach anyone by phone after hours.

You dishonest employee (it was a female) lied about what I was filing paper work out for. I just wanted a truck was I charged for a unit that I never asked for? Did she steal my money? SANDRA STONE | First ImpressionsVery poor customer service from office staff. No one was available at the site, had to drive to another site to confirm my reservation. Staff member didn’t want to honor my previously signed contract regarding my free month of storage. He then lied to me telling me Uhaul changed the offer, not knowing that I had already had a contract number. Once I showed him my email from Uhaul, he said he would give me the free month, but acted as if he had a problem with it. The unit I reserved was for a 10x20, upon entering the storage site, the unit he gave me definitely did not look like a 10x20. I was told storage access was until 7pm, so I left to pack my belongings onto my Uhaul truck that I rented from another location. When I returned at the storage site at 4:30pm, the doors were locked and there were 5 other Uhaul customers waiting and looking for site manager. I patiently waited but when the site manager arrived on the site at 4:50pm, he said the site closed at 5pm because it was Thursday. No one told me this beforehand. He said he was only going to open the door for a customer who had about 3 items to put in her unit. He was rude so I just took my lock off my unit and rented storage from another company. I have always been a Uhaul customer and I plan to continue renting trucks, but I will NEVER rent from the Gordon Hwy location again.
