The employee who helped was really top notch. It was a busy Sunday morning on a long weekend with a lot of people in and out. While he was working with me, another customer had come in explaining that their personal vehicle had been hit by a customer exiting in a Uhaul Van. He handled this customer with the utmost professionalism, got the ball rolling on her issue all while still moving my transaction along as well. He wasn't rattled in the least, an absolute professional. Once my paperwork was done, we continued outside and got us hooked up and on the road.

I rented a 5x8 trailer when I arrived to get it on Monday I was told there's no 5x8s. So they offered me a 5x9 upgrade which I didn't want but I took and when we were hooking up there was three 5x8 open trailers sitting down there. Then I return the trailer Tuesday May 20th and 9:15 a.m. parked in spot V1 with the hitch installer helping me put it he said he'd be returning it and I didn't email within 20 minutes roughly I got to call at 7:00 I believe last night that my trailer hadn't been returned because I had never been checked in. It's sad when you're told by an employee something will be done and they can't do their job.

The interior was a bit wet and musty. Also, the tires weren't in great shape, and I was concerned that I could have an issue on the highway. They had uneven wearing, and a slight wobble to them that could be seen in the rearview while the vehicle was in motion.

This has always been a excellent location. The people are amazing and very helpful. Perhaps the owner should pay higher wages so there isn't so much turnover. They associates here deserve it.

1. Have the truck FULL with Gas, as there is always a charge for less gas when returned , but NEVER a credit, and I returned the truck with substantially more fuel than was in it when I picked it up. It is almost impossible to determine the # of gallons to get it to where it was, and it was low so I couldn't take the chance of not fueling before starting and that also wasted my time. 2. I had to move the hand truck that is in the back to get something in the truck, and I was charged for that as well, not nice!

I was told to return the truck with the same amount of gas as when I received it - 1/8 of a tank. I filled the tank for a nonstop trip to Boston and only used 1/4 tank. The manager at the drop-off location could not credit me for the 5/8 of a tank of gas. Now I have to file some form. Annoying.

I reserved a 20 foot truck for a reason. there were 2, 20' trucks on site but was told to take a 26' for no extra charge. Reason i wanted a 20' truck was because of my driveway. I couldn't get a 26' truck in there without ripping the rear bumper off. So I had to hike all of my stuff down my 200' driveway to load the truck they made me take. Added a whole lot of extra work for no reason at all.

I booked this reservation on line, did the safe move plus and it says roadside assistance is available on each rental, however it does not say you have to pay for the services provided. I feel like that is misleading. My truck got stuck in the mud and I had to pay 300 dollars to get it out, because I was told the safe mover plus doesn't cover that and the roadside assisance is only covered if you purchase that coverage. (which was not offered)

Dismal. Ripped off. Wildly overcharged. Charged fake line items. Receipt numbers do not add up. Charged insurance that I did not agree to, explicitly opted out of, and verbally told the store worker not to include. Issue an immediate refund.

I only need the storage space for a couple months as a transition from moving into my house or from my house into an apartment. And due to whether I needed to have a short term space. But I was very impressed with the system of operations and flexibility in the Unit itself. That was great safe and dry and easy to access. I would recommend your storage space to anyone. I give you an excellent rating.

This did not work out the way I'd planned. I traveled to Pennsylvania in summer 2023 to help sort out the consequences of a death in the family, and was planning to return to Vermont in winter 2023 at the latest, so I'd only planned to have this space a few months. Unfortunately my mother suffered a string of medical issues which required someone to be on-site with her 24-7. I've had no income since moving down here; freelance work hasn't panned out; and I've exhausted other potential sources of funds. I was left with the choice of either being available for my mother or leaving the house to work and earn money, and I chose to take care of her. The managers of this facility knew my situation and made every effort to accommodate me. I'm sorry to lose my items but thank the managers for their help in trying to accommodate me. Take care.

while the staff was friendly more than 1/2 the people didn't have the experience to solve the card reader issues i was having. i would have to have the card reprogramed every time i went in. I will not be returning, the location sucked to get in and out of. The parking lot was poorly laid out so it was always blocked in some manner.

I requested extended service for 24 hours. I arrive with 6 guys with a 20ft truck that rented from you for move my stuff and the code doesn’t work. I called customer service and they told is a local store problem and they can’t do nothing. So payed for your truck, pay for staff that can’t be able to complete the moving. So really bad service

An elevator should be installed for the basement units and only one thinking conveyer belt is functioning. Not ideal for large and heavy items needing to be stored.

There is no ramps, only stairs so that was really difficult. There were too many vehicles parked in front of the loading dock, so also difficult. One of the conveyer belts was broken so had to walk around to find another one. The person at the desk was super friendly but had no idea to any of our questions. There was no lock in the unit, the top of it had been cut like someone was trying to break in previously. The price is better than a lot of others in the area and the people were friendly

The whole process for getting set up with a storage space was efficient and fast! I was impressed with how quickly I was able to get a storage unit. I was also impressed with there being a conveyor belt for the units on a higher or lower floor as well as being able to use carts to help move everything in and out. The staff was always friendly with any questions. The check out process was easy and quick. I’ve already recommended U-Haul storage to family and friends. U-Haul needs to share its secrets to the hotel world when it comes to checking people in and out.

This storage facility is the best. I have used others in the past and none come close to U-haul. I have storage my belongings for 6 years there and previously years ago.. The staff is friendly , always willing to help. The storage areas themselves are immaculate. The hallways glow as well as the units themselves. Cleanliness is amazing . They are heated, moisture free. Would recommend this facility to anyone and it would be the only one I’d ever use

The team leader aka Obi-Wan "Ben" Kenobi Mickey LaHaye is the best so Zen So helpful so FN cool and calm…. Always takes care of every situation good bad or ugly! He’s the Clint Eastwood of UHaul sans the bloodshed! Faye and Taylor light up the place with their smiles and willingness to always help! It’s always a fun experience there! And the conveyor belt feature is awesome… this location rocks! In a world of so much loneliness and separation this team makes you feel right at home! Had to carry boxes and totes upstairs to get to storage unit. No elevator where my storage unit was located. Reserved a storage unit online but when I got to the u-haul location, I was told that reserving a unit online does not secure a unit. Isn't that the whole point of making a reservation??

The manager and staff at Hanover Street UHaul in Lebanon are always friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. It is a very well run location that I have used at least six times for both local and one-way moves along with two uses of storage in the building and a UBox. This time I even needed to tow my car. It has always been a very good experience that made all the work easier.

The code we were given with the online check-in process didn't work, and the woman manning the desk had no idea how to fix it. She found another woman who tried to fix it and couldn't. Then they asked another man who worked there who tried to give me a key card and the key card wouldn't work. So I went back and waited with my stuff (and crew of people who were helping unload the truck) until they got me a keycard that could access the place where my unit was. On to the unit. The storage unit we were given was marketed as a 10 x 15, but when we arrived there was a massive square removed from it (for I'm assuming stairs to the upstairs). For 200 dollars a month I was expecting (and needed) a full 10 x 15 storage unit. Very disappointed about this.

The access to the storage is horrible . You need to carry boxes up stairs and then get them through a door and onto a conveyor belt to go down a flight of stairs and then fight through a meat curtain.

As far as I am concerned the Hanover Street uhaul is the company's only beacon of light. People there were friendly and helpful after a poor experience dealing with call center reps who were clueless.

Hard to get your stuff into, must walk up stairs then down stairs to get to the unit. Massive conveyor belt makes it easier to get stuff down but dangerous for kids. It was clean.

I was quoted a 13 X 9 and got a 10 X 10. Had to throw 4 things away cause they didn't fit. Was over 3 days and paid $139.95. I didn't get the correct storage I shouldn't have to pay the $139.95!

Trucks were always parked in front of bay doors to access storage. Long term customers who paid on time did not matter for rate increases.
