Unit had roof damage and insulation all over the floor upon arrival. Worker was not knowledgeable on the procedures but did a great job trying to be helpful and accommodate.

Not only was the unit damaged by plumbing issues but had to reset my option of a storage and still my unit was wet and brand new bed for daughter was sole along with other items . I spent 2 weeks out of the 4 waiting for the repair and then 2 weeks of use damage to my own belongings . Calling customer service or talking to anyone useless . Would overall ask for something instead of the nothing . As well there could be others with water damage that wouldn’t be told there belongings may have got wet . Stay quiet and nothing wrong ? Yeah someone needs to step up if this is a uhual and running commercial establishment.

Tracy F | First ImpressionsVery unhappy with my experience! We came in on Saturday June 29th. We wanted to rent a unit, unload and return our trailer. I specifically asked for a unit on the lower floor-no stairs. The person helping me was escorting me to the unit after I completed all paperwork etc and was surprised to see it was on the 2nd level! I would need to go up stairs outside and then walk to unit are and take another set to get to my storage! I went thru all the hassle so I thought I should try it! After just a few boxes I knew I couldn’t do it. I have a bad shoulder and my husband has a bad back. We had to go get my husbands car so we left. My husband had to go back to work and wouldn’t be off until July 4th, so we had to wait! I tried throughout the week to call this location directly to see if they had a lower unit. Never got them, just main uhaul number and was told to “call them”! I also inquired about movers and was told that uhaul has contracted movers. lol! Been there but was willing to try, that was a nightmare. Wednesday I called again. got the local office on Hanover and spoke with Patrick. I told him I needed a unit on lower level with NO STAIRS at all. I said it’s fine if it’s bigger than the one we have because we realized we needed more room. He told me he had a unit, 387 and he confirmed, yes no stairs!! So we made the plan to unload on July 4th. We could not get movers. So without stairs figured we could do it. We got there yesterday and was surprised there were no units available without stairs, only one was one Patrick had mentioned but it was smaller and stairs you had to go down. He told us to wait until July 8th after the auction and he would probably have one! We can’t wait that long!! We need to get our trailer back! So now we have to find a new place to store our belongings. I had to go back and get the few things I had already put in there! So we basically wasted our July 4th! We have to find another place to store our belongings and wait again to return our trailer! I am so upset that I was told there was a unit available with no stairs. Also I mentioned we would prefer a bigger one if he didn’t have the same size we had already rented. He should have told me it was smaller!! He should have told me there were stairs, up or down either way! Stairs are stairs!!
Ronda I | Overall ExperienceI Don't like the unloading process into the store's storage units. I do like having the conveyer belt unit for going down to the lowest level. I do appreciate having the moving carts down there to put items on it to bring to tmhe storage units too. Service was good except there wasn't enough staff member on to wait on their customers. Pll
