In the winter months In the states that have snow it would be. Ice to have winter tires on the Vans and trucks. They don't get sent on to other uhaul location and they are not heavy enough in the winter snow. Your seasonal tires are really horrible. Other than that the Lebanon location is awesome, very good people.

The tire pressure on the trailer upon pickup was 15lbs low on every tire, so clearly the trailer was not properly inspected. Thankfully, I checked the tire pressure before I left on my cross country road trip. I could have suffered a serious accident or blowout due to incorrect tire pressure. In future instances for safety and liability, check tire pressure. Customer service upon pickup was above average, however, because of the safety issue, my overall rating is poor. I would recommend the location based on customer service but would ensure the person I refer insist on proper safety checks upon departure.

The staff here is incredibly slow and unhelpful. They spend more time talking to each other than helping customers and are consistently rude to their customers.

The trailer had an alignment issue and one of the wheels was vibrating excessively. The associate who checked me in when I returned the trailer was a bit of a jerk.

After writing this it seems a bit harsh, so I will say that truck and trailer worked perfectly. I have rented from Uhual locations from Montana to Vermont and this is by far the worst one I have ever seen. From its surly employees to its lack of transparency, this location is a pit stain on the Uhaul brand. First off if you ever have the misfortune to call this location you will be put on hold indefinitely while listening to phone system recording that sounds as though it is being played-back underwater. Secondly, when you arrive you are greeted by a greasy breaded man who is constantly spiting chewing tabbaco into a disgusting used Gatorade bottle which sits on the desk between you and him. Finally, Upon returning your rental an incompetent Uhaul representative will attempt to over charge you and then not be able to explain why? You will be forced to haggle and question for them to merely explain the charges. This will turn a ten minute return process into a half hour ordeal. As some one who work as a customer service rep this kind un-professionalism is completely unacceptable. I will never deal with this location again.

The staff at this location were great. The systems were extremely slow. Might want to give yourself an extra hour to pickup the truck. Drop off was easier but again the system was very slow.

Requested pickup for 7 am. Took them an hour to find the equipment assigned to me. They quoted me $56 for trailer and $12 for dolly for a total of $68. They charged me $84 and said it was because I used the credit card I used to hold equipment.

I set up a reservation on Monday for the following Saturday, which took 15 minutes of standing in line. I used the online tool during the week to supposedly make the pick up faster on Saturday AM. On Saturday AM, it took 1 hour and 20 minutes to pick up the 15' truck with just 5 people ahead of me. The vehicle had multiple scratches without the nifty little 'X's to say they weren't mine, and the usage ties for the dolly and blankets in the back were cut and laying on the floor in the back. Additionally, I only discovered after leaving that the drivers side seat belt wouldn't latch, as I had apparently used the middle latch point on departure. On the return trip to drop it off, the vehicle developed a problem with idling, operating like it was going to stall when stopping. The only upside to this was the attendant was willing to sticker any scratches I pointed out and took care of the cut usage ties, but clearly shows no one there pays any attention when these return for the next renter.

I rented a 15 ft truck which ran fine. My complaint is that I only used it to transport tables and chairs that I borrowed from my company, because I didn’t want to damage the tables which I laid on the floor I spread bubble wrap on the floor first. When I returned the truck I was told I left rust on the floor and would be charged if I didn’t take the truck somewhere and wash it out with a spray washer “because his guys wouldn’t send a truck out with that on the floor “. Well they did. So in the future I will be sure to take before and after pictures myself and not rely on u-haul to make the call so I will not either be charged to clean someone else’s mess or have to take the time and be charged additional mileage not to mention the time and expense to clean because the guy wouldn’t even listen.
