Reserved 3 dozen blankets and an appliance dollie. Showed up and truck did not have the blanks or dollie. Was told they ran out. Clerk called another location and no one picked up. I drove 9 miles to get to another location to be told they didn’t have them either. Then was told to go to another U-Haul 15 miles away did Alta Mere to pick them up. Horrible experience, with u haul. Last time all reserve anything with them. Location off berry street is in the hood. Crack heads right outside.

Employees customer service was excellent the equipment was not. Truck (20ft) leaked horribly inside the cabin during rain. Truck was on half a tank of gas and when I dropped it off 3/4 full they sent a bill of 33 dollars. After I paid almost 2900.
ALSADRA WI ordered furniture pads when I booked the UHaul, and they were not available when I arrived. This inconvenienced me and I was disappointed. I was under the impression that UHaul guarantees all equipment.

ADAIR S1. I have rented trailers and trucks from U-Haul on multiple occasions without an issue. 2. I reserved a 15 foot truck with a dolly, blankets and a 4 x 4. The dolly and 4 x 4 were both unavailable at the time of pick up. I was informed by the corporate office that I need to call and dispute the charges with the dispatch office. I really don’t have time to be on the phone disputing charges that should not exist on my bill. I just let U-Haul keep the money. 3. Out of the mini times I rented a truck from U-Haul. I have never been charged a $20 after hours fee. This may be something new. But I’ve never experienced this fee in the past. I thought I was doing U-Haul a favor by returning the truck a day earlier. I could’ve waited until the next morning to return the truck without a fee. My recommendation is inform customers that they will be charged a fee if you return the truck outside of operational hours. 3. Lastly, I was charged another fee for leaving unfolded blankets in the back of the truck. This is something I have done in the past without a fee. But like everything else during this reservation, I was charged $25 for leaving unfolded blankets in the back of a truck. In addition, I left two unused boxes in the back of the truck. This was also part of the $25 fee.. My previous reservation, I reserved a 26 foot truck. The brake lights on the truck were inoperable. The issue wasn’t discovered until I was on the freeway. And essence, many years of renting from U-Haul with no issues. The last two reservations are riddled with inefficiencies. I am not so sure if I will ever go to U-Haul again in the future.

ANDELMO NThe staff was rude and failed to communicate upon my return. I sat in the truck waiting and could see through the window that they knew I was there, but they just continued their conversation then finally the manager came out, but did not speak a word to me she just stood there so I got out of the truck and asked if there was anything I needed to do and she responded very short, no you’re good. The problem I have with this is that when you pull up to return the truck the sign says during business hours please wait here And a representative will be with you. It doesn’t hurt to smile and to welcome your customers back upon our return as we have just paid a good price to use your equipment. In addition, I ordered a utility dolly only to find out when I arrived that they have no utility dollies available. In fact, they had no dollies of any kind available. I was told that it’s because people don’t return the dollies. I don’t know what kind of moving truck business can operate without providing the option of dollies.
DARREL ADolly ended up being broken/damaged and did not operate properly. I didn't notice until I had a vehicle loaded on to it. Had to find help elsewhere to do what I needed to do.

There was leakage from the roof and it leaked a black oil like substance and my furniture, clothing and an expensive painting. The substance was leaking all down the door of the storage space as well. The crickets were excessive! They were dead and all over my belongings as well each time I did a routine check or to retrieve something. I’ve used UHaul storage a lot but this one was by far the worse! Once again the staff was nice, but the facility not so much.

The manger helped me with a tarp so I could cover my flat screen. And also offered me a bigger unit to move my stuff. But I couldn’t move it all myself unfortunately. But they definitely need to run some sealer on those units. Other than that, loved the staff they were very nice.

Terrible.
